What a fantastic opportunity and well deserved, Triumph may have given you your dream but you're a great asset to Triumph with your great reviews. I enjoyed coming along with you on the trip, such beautiful scenery all so well documented. You have a great UA-cam channel, so inspiring with advice and a wide range of topics, I've learned so much from you with your down to earth approach. It's so easy to drop a bike especially when you can't flat foot it. I owned a Triumph Tiger 100 500cc twin in 1960 here in the UK, a 1952 model bought and sold for £20, wish i kept it. Good luck with your channel you're doing all the right things with some great content.

So happy for you getting to be part of such an experience 🙂 About your DOAM channel not being as big as a lot of other people's channels..... as with other things in this world it's not how big it is it's what y'do with it!...... and what you do with your channel is wonderful.... I always smile when I get a notification with "Doodle" in it.... I love watching your work. P. S. - Triumph is looking for all types of riders..... even riders that drop a bike occasionally.... it can happen to ANYONE..... I know cuz I've done it twice also. Why do they make engine guards/crash bars. If nobody ever dropped their bike there'd be no need for 'em. Luvzya Doodle and your channel/work. Keep ridin'!!!! 💕 💕 💕

That's a very good idea just to dive into this "dropping issue" by raising your bike and getting used to it. Sure dropping a bike is a thing and happens to every rider but if this risk influences your confidence in the bike - it's gone to far. And definetely let's do something about it. Keep us posted about your progress on that! Congrats for nice trip

I just realized that you were one of the rewievers on the Triumph Bonneville I watched that made me go all in for the bike. Best damn thing I did last year, took my motorcycle license without ever having touched a bike and then bought a Bonneville T100 black. The first 50 meters of riding it I knew this was the dream bike and it handles like a dream (I'm fairly tall btw). I just discovered your channel again and it's so refreshing to see another genuine Triumph fangirl!
Currently waiting for riding season to start here in Norway, +/- 2 weeks until I can ride my Bonnie again. Loved watching this and the spectacular sights, and I loved that Triumph invited you on this trip! :)

I just started watching your chanel Doodle and you are such an amazing person! I took my motorcycle license earlier this year and bought a Kawasaki Vulcan. The first thing I did was to go and get gas and wasn't ready for the added weight of a full tank and dropped it. 15 minutes of owning it. Bikes will be dropped, it's just a reality I've come to terms with. But I love how open you are about everything. Many would have cut out the drops and silly mistakes. You are definitely my nr 1 motochanel! Thank you for everything you do for all of us new riders in the world!

That is way cool!!! What an opportunity to get flown out just to test ride bikes! Empire out here in Spokane just had their Rocket 3 launch party this past weekend and it is indeed a BEAST! I'm actually really excited to test the Rocket 3. And at 2500cc's, yeah... biggest bike I would have ever been on. By the way, I had those same Icon gloves!!! The thumb area near the palm ripped in two months of use so... maybe I just got a bad pair. They work fairly nice in the 30° cold though. Thanks for sharing your experience! That was a very fun video to watch! Ride safe!✌️

Great vid, it's all good (dropped bikes), I have a feeling you'll still be in good standing with Triumph. Honesty is a great virtue every company should be enriched by which you showed in your vid.

I'm glad you had fun during the ride. Yes, someone at Triumph knew you, in order for you to be included. It's always frustrating to drop a bike, but you aren't the first and won't be the last. I doubt a low speed drop would ban you from being invited to future events, as everyone knows this sometimes happens when people ride bikes they are not familiar with. In fact, I had almost the exact same thing happen to me a few days ago (backing up a new motorcycle I was test riding slightly uphill and one foot slipped on gravel). Thankfully I did not loose my balance and drop the bike, but I knew I had a close call. I commend you on vowing to improve this aspect of motorcycle operation, but honestly, sometimes these things can't be prevented. In any case, you are now a celebrity and this exposure should help you continue to increase your presence on UA-cam. Congratulations!!!

So much fun. Doodle has made it to the big time! That Thruxton is probably the hottest bike I've ever seen.
About the tippy toes, I'm 5'5", and on my dual sport I slide my butt off the side and just have one foot firmly planted when I stop. Then I just hop up and let the bike grab me when I get going again.

Got my vote for sending you to the next event. Dropping bikes is far from desirable, but it's all in a day. Gotta see just how durable these things are. Case in point: I asked for a tip-test at a Honda dealership (just to see if I could get it upright again.) After gently laying the thing down, and having not touched it yet, it broke the shifter, the driver's side footpeg, and cracked (I'm not kidding) the transmission casing. I paid for the broken parts, but I'm not buying one of those fragile bikes (Honda VFR 1200 Crosstour.) Which is a shame because it glides down the road.
Does prove you need to ride more often. Over hills, through mountains, in the desert, along the coasts, in town, out in the countryside, come sun, come storm, through fields, and around the world. How about making it to Montana from where you're at by next year (or the next after that.) Or how about New England and Newfoundland by next summer? In five or ten years, stretch your legs to Tierra Del Fuego? Take a quick jaunt to the Florida Keys. A summer ride I'd highly recommend is up through the panhandle of Idaho. Winter is out of the question, but Georgia, to Sandpoint ID, by way of Flagstaff AZ would be epic. Stop off in Steamboat Springs or Veil, CO on the way home.
If you haven't guessed already, I have ambitions of sending you through the most scenic places on Earth. I care not one wit if you drop a bike in every state so long as you stay safe and take in the view. NOBODY shows joy the way you do.

You are doing our industry a massive favor by getting new riders stoked about motorcycles. If your travels ever take you to Vancouver BC swing by Trev Deeley Motorcycles and we can get you on some of our beasts. Anyone can dump a bike but it takes real courage to admit it and get back on the horse! Great work!!!

Awe man. Look. This was like 20 years ago. I had a BRAND new Honda VFR 800. I had it for about a month then I decided to take the MSF course. And I was the only one who tipped my bike. Hey. We live and learn. Dust off and move on. I totaled a new cop car with 7 miles when I first got on too. Oh well!
