I'm so jealous 😫. I hate you and love you at the same time. Just work your way down all the things on my bucket list, why don't ya...how about a trials bike...or wheelie school 👍👍👍
I'm watching this as they're going 'round Miami about 100 miles from me, looks like South Carolina might be my only other chance this year without riding cross-country for it on the KTM.
Learning from Fast Freddie Spencer....thats a dream come true. One of the best thing i did as a youngster was to learn how to race at the local track. That experience save my life numerous times when riding on the street. How to react quickly, learn counter steering, apply brakes effectively and most importantly to know that if i want to ride fast the track is the safest place to ride. Theres no cars, no pedestrians, no curbs, no pot holes, no on coming traffic, no trees, etc... plus theres an emergency crew at the track just in case . If you want to ride fast the track is the way to go. Great vid again Doodle
@@DoodleOnAMotorcycle Thats awesome you met him. He's a big reason i wanted to learn how to race, to be Fast Freddie :). i didn't get farther than the local track racing wise unfortunately but i learnt so much from my riding experience there as I know you will as well. Safe journey as always :)
pretty awesome hanging with Nick and Freddie. Freddie loves to tell stories and is super mellow. Kenny Roberts on the other hand, scares the **** out of me.
I went to Champ School this year in AZ and hands down it's the best experience ever! Your skills and understanding get upgraded 100x. You don't know riding until you do a two-up lap with a pro! I'm a 54 male, 220lbs and I was giggling the whole lap. I never knew how fast these bikes can go and how hard they can brake! I learned so much in such a short amount of time, they really have the training down. Champ School is world-class for sure. Highly recommend for every rider! 👍✌
This was awesome!!, great editing work the sound effects where funny. I really enjoyed this video thank you !! I was laughing and nervous at the same time great work!
Every rider should put in some track time. I had been riding for almost 20 years, had repeatedly studied and practiced the techniques in Twist of the Wrist One and Two. I thought I was way above average... and probably was, on the street. Then I got on a race track and instantly realized I didn't know crap. Felt like a total newbie. After my first 1/2 dozen or so track days I felt WAY better and more competent. After a dozen or so more, with some real good (and expensive) coaches, I was going fast enough I felt like shortcomings in my physical fitness were holding me back more so than my skills. Track riding is exhausting! Anyhow, I have a very high level of confidence in my ability to ride safely on the street these days.
I actually first found you 'cos we have the same bike. I was considering buying a 2014 Triumph Street Triple R last summer (my second bike, but technically more like my first since I wrecked the transmission on my first one after only about 3 weeks), & so I was looking at reviews, & yours was one of the most thorough ones I came across that sold me on it as a great bike, & I've been loving it ever since! Been keeping up with your motorcycle content since, & it's really cool watching you learn new lessons, experience the culture, & going on adventures, & it really makes me want to try different types of riding.
OMFG Doodle. Loved, loved this video. I was getting disheartened because it's been awhile since you posted. But honestly, none of the other channels I watch have been posting much either......Must be because of the holidays. The reason for loving this so much is a few reasons. First, I enrolled in Champ U a couple of weeks ago myself. LoL such a coincidence. Second, I literally spit out my coffee on the expectations vs reality portion of the vid. I've done 7 track days (becoming an addict) and I'm really close (I've dragged a toe) but not quite dragged a knee yet. Second, I'm so jelly that you actually got to take the road course with them. I'm know it's big bucks and it's awesome that you got to receive top notch instruction. I haven't had the opportunity to attend a Champions road course, but I have attend 3:16 track Superbike Camp training in Texas. Great bunch of guys, and let me tell you, they have some pretty fast female instructors when they have their track sessions over in Houston. Lastly, Everything you talked about is exactly what happens. Concentration, information overload, fatigue, apprehension. Eventually, if you continue the journey, you'll get much better. Already in the video, I could see how you slid your bottom from side to side based on the turn. I still have issues with that one, it seems to be something that I have to concentrate hard and be quick to get right. LoL. In the end, It's not about speed, it's about technique. Remember the adage "Be a technical rider, not an emotional rider." Eventually I'll get to do a track session at COTA and I've already gotten a bike for that Yamaha R7. Still, going to the track my Ninja 300 helped out immensely with expectations vs reality. I wanted to go oh so fast, but with 300cc's it takes a LONG stretch to get up to triple digits. This means that I have to focus on technique more to keep up with the big boys. Wait till you get to the oh crap moment where you have caught them and you are faster, but you have to PASS THEM cleanly. Overall I'm happy to see you back in the saddle. Even more happy to see videos on your MC riding journey, especially in deviating from just cruiser -more specifically Harley- riding. Don't get me wrong, I have an Indian Roadmaster as well, but that just doesn't get the adrenaline going like Track riding. Keep up the great work. J
Just did the champ school the monday before this video and it was the most amazing experience I've ever had on 2 wheels. Nothing compares! Great video!
Great video Doodle! I'm thrilled you enjoyed the course. I firmly believe it's the best riding program out there! Go back and do the graduate only program, it's even more awesomer! 🤘
Freddie is an icon and a personal hero. Absolute dream come true stuff. You learn so much on a track day that is so useful in everyday riding. I’m extremely jealous ❤
From my own experience, what you likely learned: The machine is more capable than you realized it was. YOU are more capable than you thought you were. Result: You’re safer on the street, because you now know you can handle more situations than before. Plus, trackdays are a blast! I’ve had some training and trackdays, and am seriously considering Yamaha Champions, this fall. Thank you for sharing your experience with it.
I'm so glad you posted this. I'm going to ChampSchool in the next 2 months. I'm considering doing CSC as well to compare. The expectation vs. reality made me LOL.
Taking a course like this should actually be a mandatory for a license, even if you don’t want to be a canyon carver, trackday regular or racer. Let me explain, I had been riding Harleys for 20+ years before I ever put a leg over a sport bike. On impulse bought a sport bike, and went to a track school. The massive amount of mind blowing information and technique I got from that one day school completely rewrote my approach to riding! In my case, I ended up being a racer, but the bedrock riding skills I got from that initial training seriously can’t be overstated. It’s like buying a good helmet, the training from these kinds of classes are life savers!
Doodle i really admire how you continually challenge yourself to learn to become a better rider, i really enjoy your videos and keep up the great work 👍 👏
Amazing! I've seen some of Your earlier videos of Your struggles of learning to ride and now You are training with Professional Racers and You did some fantastic riding/racing there too! Yes I would have been scared to ride on the back with someone else as the driver too! Thinking I would be too scared to do it but after watching this would be something I might consider:)

I did Champ School and it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Well worth the money, very well put together program, all of the staff were very professional and well prepared.
Champ School is frickin' awesome. The coaches are awesome and it's so much fun. I'm dying to do another one this year on my Ducati. You should come to Austin for MotoGP now that you've got this experience under your belt.
Hey Doodle, what a fantastic experience for you and a ton of fun. I can only imagine the thoughts and anxiety you soaked up. More, more, more. Loved it soooo much. Cheers 🏍️ ✌️💜
Freddie Spencer! THAT is a life-goal right there. That man is a hero. That era the riders were so skilled and so nuts. Fast Freddy, Wayne Gardner, Mick Doohan, they were really tough, their bikes were relatively primitive, powerful and unforgiving, and their safety gear was fairly unsophisticated. What an honor!
I've been riding since the early eighties and I find your videos both informative and entertaining. I appreciate the fact that you aren't just pushing people to buy a specific product.
In 40+ years of riding I’ve never actually done a track day so my children got me one for Phillip Island as a Christmas present. One reason was that they have seen more than enough of my races on video, TV channels and UA-cam. Phillip Island was my home racetrack however I stopped racing before they were born. My eldest is 15 so it also comes with added pressure even though I’ve lost count of the number of races and have literally done around 1000 laps of the Island. Can’t believe I’m actually more nervous now than gridding up in front of over 100,000 people trackside and full TV coverage. Lol
Keep going doodle, safer comes with really understanding the machine you are on and how you influence it. Seeing what others are doing side by side with your own footage is sooo helpful in understanding that we are not leaning as far as we think we are.
Snow mobile riding,.. have you been you've ridden almost every other type three wheeler, mini bike, highway cruiser.. now it's a wet bike time and snow mobile mountain climbing 🤘you rock 🎉oh and happy New year to ya ☺️
You are an inspiration!!! I attended Kieth Code's California Super Bike School many MANY years (okay, decades) ago. Like you I was young and just wanted to learn as much as I could about riding. That, and I was in the sport bike crowd and was in the process of pouring all my money into building up an insanely fast KZ 1000. I had taken a good amount of safety classes because I was in the US Navy and they required it. But those pro's teaching me on the track was the most I learned and helped me correct some bad habits in such a short period of time that, to this day, I still use what I learned from that experience. One other thing....if you can find the time to read "Twist of the Wrist" by Kieth Code, I highly recommend it. I've read it SEVERAL times since the early 80's and I still have a copy on my bookshelf all these years later.
Awesome! It seems like some kinds of muscle memory become so quickly ingrained that it takes forever to break out of the mould, even when you’re thinking about it. Congrats on all the work you put in👍👍 Come up here to Canada and try a snowmobile tour next! It’s sorta the same but very different too. Plus… FUN!
Excellent video. Riding at the track is so much fun. Exhausting mentally and physically. I was always sore in muscles I didn't even know I had. Look forward to new videos.
Great video, Doodle. Love your humility, and showing the side-by-side videos on how you picture yourself (knee down like Marc Marquez) vs. what you really look like. We ALL do that! Lol... Appreciate the content as I've been working up the courage to do a track day, as well as attend Champ School.
I watch a lot of motorcycle videos from a lot of folks but I actually watched this one 3 times. I’ve only been riding for 3 years and I found this video very inspiring and I’m looking for a track course like this in Indiana to help improve skills. Seeing how you did and improved after just 2 days was great! Gives me confidence that I could do the same. Thank you for posting this great video ❤️
its more the fact that on a race track you aren't hitting objects or having head on collisions or sliding down mountains, is why track racing is safe. The best helmet in the world won't do much on public roads when you hit a car head on.
Doodle. I’ve been riding for 50 years and bar none, you work harder than anyone to be the best rider you can be. You never fail to impress. Ride safe and continue to have fun. Kurt
Congrats! First time is absolute mental overload, so much info and input to process. Now that you've gotten through it though... 2nd time is more fun, 3rd... 4th... :D
I would like to see you sign up for back-to-back two-day camps with California Superbike School, doing levels 1, 2, and 3 on the first three days and then level 4 (more individualized instruction) on day 4. You would definitely be exhausted, but also absolutely exhilarated at what you accomplished over the course of a few days. Plus, the School has an entire fleet of the newly redesigned BMW S1000rr!
Great video again and so fun to watch. I would love to ride with Freddie Spencer! I would like to see Doodle on a motocross track. MX school next please.
A wonderful video and clearly, a wonderful time. Riding with a legend and having a good friend to share all that with each day too. Your second day form improvement was very impressive. Great to see. It's not about the speed, it's about the technique. Really fun, well-made video too. (as usual)
I can’t believe you were with “Fast” Freddie Spencer. He’s a total legend! He was the guy to beat in all the gp 2 stroke 500 cc . I saw him in the early 80’s in the Assen gp. What a thrill watching an American win in the Euro gp and just smoke all the competition.
Love your videos! Your attitude, outlook, joy for what you do. It's like The Wonderful World of Doodle! Keep the rubber side down, be safe and have fun! 🇺🇸⚔️🍕🍺👍❤️
Doodle Great first day at Champ School! Awesome stuff Lady. Practice makes perfect. Great video Lady! Keep em coming! I'm so proud of you!! Ride SAFE and BE safe Doodle! 🙌🙏👍🤙👏👏👏👏👏👏👌🖖✌👋🙂 🌹💖
That was great. I would love to see you do the same thing with California Superbike School, just as a contrast and compare type of thing. I have done CSS twice and loved it. I may have to give Champ School a try after seeing your video. Keep up the amazing content.
looks like you had fun. getting you knee down is something that take time and practice but isn't something to try to force, it just happens when everything else you learn comes together. when you touch your knee it is something that you'll never forget where you did it (track and corner)
Oh my gosh, the ride on the back of the bike would have been intense; I can hear the excitement in your voice. Good job too, you learn so quickly. 👍 Cool video.
American Supercamp is coming up in Gainesville, Ga. That's a super fun time, and you would learn a lot from it too. Different type of riding, but still applicable on the road.
Your approach to your riding & your channel are a breath of fresh air👍. This was a super video. Thank you for your open, honest experiences. (+ Fast Freddie Spencer & Nick I …. These guys are legends and know more about riding and doing it right ~ awesome 🤗👍😎)
WOW Doodle.... you're a brave girl for sure!!!! When I'm riding in the N GA mountains, NC & TN I get nervous when I scrape my floor boards in the curves much less the severe angles those pro's do around the track. Take care and be blessed!!!
I never had aaaaany interest in track days but seeing you do one might just change my mind. Super dope, looks like a lot of fun was had. Nice to see you weren’t the only lady in class too! Good stuff Find a stunting school next!! Doodle Wheelies!
Haha, love the lean angle expectation to reality. We have all been there and felt the same thing. Keep going, when you finally get your knee down what a buzz.

Great fun! I enjoyed Champ School at Homestead in January 2022. This video brought back a lot of great memories!
Great video thank you very well done love it when you teach riding thanks again cheers to ya.
its more the fact that on a race track you aren't hitting objects or having head on collisions or sliding down mountains, is why track racing is safe. The best helmet in the world won't do much on public roads when you hit a car head on.
Fantastic!!! You are a champion Doodle!!
So awesome doodle you have come a long way!! Practice practice practice!!
Excellent video. Understanding reality with anything is priceless
Awesome that you connected with Jess. She's awesome. As always great stuff Carolyn.
Really fun video Carolyn. Looks like you had a blast!!
Doodle. I’ve been riding for 50 years and bar none, you work harder than anyone to be the best rider you can be. You never fail to impress. Ride safe and continue to have fun.
Kurt
THAT WAS AWESOME Doodle!!!!!!!!!!! You gangster girl!😈
Wow Doodle! That was great and exciting! You did excellent! 🤗
Awesome Doodle! You are an inspiration. I did the street course. The YCRS full course is definitely on my bucket list.
Congrats! First time is absolute mental overload, so much info and input to process. Now that you've gotten through it though... 2nd time is more fun, 3rd... 4th... :D
You ROCK!!! way to go... enjoyed the video. God Bless!
Its always good to learn. Never stop learning Doodle!
Doodle, you inspire us all! Now I have to do a track school! Leaning into a curve is the one of the funnest parts of riding!
OOOOH SNAP!! y'all are giving me great ideas here
Congratulations on adding some new tools to your riding kit. Looks like you had a blast!
That looked like great fun ;-) You made really good progress and had an awesome time on your bike, with cool people.
Didn't know Jess had a channel. I'll have to check that out. You did great, its not an easy thing to do.
Your production is very slick, great video from the start
I have done the one day course twice. It is amazing how much it improves your riding. Plus Nick is awesome.
This looks like so much fun!!! I want to do it!!! I’ll be using that code for sure! Thanks for bringing us along Doodle!
This video was AWESOME lass!! Great riding and looks like you learned alot. I would love to take this class myself. Peace out and Ride on!!
Love your videos! Your attitude, outlook, joy for what you do.
It's like The Wonderful World of Doodle! Keep the rubber side down, be safe and have fun! 🇺🇸⚔️🍕🍺👍❤️
This was great 😎. I 😂 laughed out loud every time you screamed when you were a passenger. Thanks for sharing!
How awesome to find that suit! I try to watch all your videos and this one has to be my favorite so far
I've always wanted to take these classes. Absolutely great video 👏👏👏
Wow, doodle! Nice job on the riding and capturing good footage!
Doodle
Great first day at Champ School! Awesome stuff Lady. Practice makes perfect. Great video Lady! Keep em coming! I'm so proud of you!!
Ride SAFE and BE safe Doodle!
🙌🙏👍🤙👏👏👏👏👏👏👌🖖✌👋🙂
🌹💖
Great video Doodle, enjoyed it very much.
That was great. I would love to see you do the same thing with California Superbike School, just as a contrast and compare type of thing. I have done CSS twice and loved it. I may have to give Champ School a try after seeing your video. Keep up the amazing content.
You will have to it again, that looked so much fun.Learning from the best 👌, it definitely makes you a better rider👍
looks like you had fun. getting you knee down is something that take time and practice but isn't something to try to force, it just happens when everything else you learn comes together. when you touch your knee it is something that you'll never forget where you did it (track and corner)
I want to do CS again!!
The camera falling at the end was great. Thank you for leaving it in!
11 seats are still open
Your approach to your riding & your channel are a breath of fresh air👍. This was a super video. Thank you for your open, honest experiences. (+ Fast Freddie Spencer & Nick I …. These guys are legends and know more about riding and doing it right ~ awesome 🤗👍😎)
Track days built up my skills and confidence in a controlled environment that was conducive to learning. It definitely made me a better street rider.
Great job! You're doing tons better than the vast majority💯 Now I'd like to see you stuntn' on your next one😎🏍
Wow, what an experience. No doubt there's unlimited learning taking a course like that! Great video, thanks for sharing! ✌️
I have the online class and think its awesome. I cant imagine how great it must be in person. I admire your willingness to put yourself out there.
WOW Doodle.... you're a brave girl for sure!!!! When I'm riding in the N GA mountains, NC & TN I get nervous when I scrape my floor boards in the curves much less the severe angles those pro's do around the track. Take care and be blessed!!!
hey I get nervous too! lol
I never had aaaaany interest in track days but seeing you do one might just change my mind. Super dope, looks like a lot of fun was had. Nice to see you weren’t the only lady in class too! Good stuff
Find a stunting school next!! Doodle Wheelies!
That was awesome..great job!!!
Haha, love the lean angle expectation to reality. We have all been there and felt the same thing. Keep going, when you finally get your knee down what a buzz.
Good for you! I am old and my body creaks such that I can barely get a knee down to the ground when I am not on my bike!😄
LOL!
