I don’t fly much, but I always look forward to re-watching and watching all new and or old simply aviation videos to remind me what it feels like onboard! :D
Hey mate, welcome to Australia! I hope you enjoyed your visit here. One thing, though. You visited the domestic Qantas club, not the domestic business class. You need One World Emerald to access the latter while OW Sapphire gets you into the club. :)
Wow those overhead panels are so old school! It brings back memories when they would give us warm dinner, some cheap headphones and they would put on a movie for us. This was with Mexicana de Aviacion before it went bankrupt.
Great flight report as always 👍 I flew this summer a lot ! First from Düsseldorf to Palma, then back , then from Düsseldorf do Denver , from Las Vegas to Atlanta , from Charleston to Atlanta and then back to Düsseldorf Keep up the good videos 👍
Haha 26F, that's the exact same seat I was in on another 737 except it was bound for Auckland. Qantas is great, I flew with them recently to china for a school trip for two weeks and they have some of the best service I've come across on any airline I've flown with.
Had to do BNE-SYD SYD-AYQ due to cancellation of BNE-AYQ on jetstar. Had to get out and recheck my hold luggage. The worst part the entire domestic tick was a Qantas ticket
I have a question: Do you travel on different flights and to different airports/countries to say that you've been there (or get stamps in your passport) or is it more business/leisure related? I would love to know. Btw, another enjoyable video. Keep up the work 👍🏽 i look forward to seeing more.
Samtaplet To clarify: do they travel to collect official entry and exit stamps on their passport or do they make these trips for business purposes or is it simply just because they like to fly. (To experience different airlines, visit new countries and airports)There can be many reasons as to why people fly a lot and those (mentioned above) are just some of the reasons why.
you're in the home of Qantas Sydney is the Homebase Qantas Airways and headquarters for qantas Sir Charles Kingsford Smith airport is named after the founder of Qantas
I've never seen an airline offer IFE via wireless device. That is so cool. I should write to Delta so they can look into putting that into their short haul/regional flights.
Cool James I guess I'm SOL. Closest airport to me is only a regional airport. We have to fly to either Charlotte or Atlanta first. One is 50 minutes long the other an hour and a half. Neither Delta or AA offers it.
Re the dirty traytable, given the brief turnaround time for these planes, even an ambitious cleaning crew barely has time to pick up the obvious litter and grunge, and they couldn't possibly check for invisible soiling. That would have to wait for a scheduled deep cleaning.
Awesome....as usual. However I'm still looking forward for an aeromexico trip report :D. Maybe you can try the Dreamliner from Paris or Amsterdam to Mexico City
my first flight as an unaccompanied minor was on a Qantas flight up to Cairns I was about to fly with annset but it was when they went bankrupt so I flew with Qantas instead

Hey Felix i ben to Sydney domestic in 2012 and i still remember the qantas tunnel
Qantas have two domestic lounges, the Qantas Club and Business Lounge. It appears that you ended up in the Qantas Club.
I highly suggest considering Virgin Australia!
those first steps at the domestic terminal. yeah. i tripped on those once
Had to do BNE-SYD SYD-AYQ due to cancellation of BNE-AYQ on jetstar.
Had to get out and recheck my hold luggage.
The worst part the entire domestic tick was a Qantas ticket
I have that .My flight was often but it was okay.Arriving at Gate D35.
Been to Melbourne quite a bit myself, on Emirates flights from AKL - DXB.

+Harrison Goode We'll definitely fly again to Australia! ;)
This route is in the top two in the world in both number of daily flights between the two cities and one of the most profitable.
So excited that my airport (Melbourne) is now on the channel. You should fly Virgin Australia there my favourite airline to travel.

While you were on that flight you flew over my house (near nsw/vic border)

Is it called life vest or life jacket?
I think it's life vest
nothing impossible285 both is the same
Thanks for reviewing our national airline.
+Anthony Kernich Your welcome! :)
I love Qantas.
Was one of the flight attendant's colleagues trying to see if they could make her laugh when she was doing the post-landing announcement?
I've never seen an airline offer IFE via wireless device. That is so cool. I should write to Delta so they can look into putting that into their short haul/regional flights.
Gomer and Pikachu many Airlines have that
All airlines without personal IFE's but have Wifi have it, and Delta's had it for over a year, Used it on my PDX-JFK flight
Cool James I guess I'm SOL. Closest airport to me is only a regional airport. We have to fly to either Charlotte or Atlanta first. One is 50 minutes long the other an hour and a half. Neither Delta or AA offers it.
Gomer and Pikachu lucky you,the closest airport in my town is like 2 hour of drive
Awesome video mate!
Hey. Cool video. I was wondering if you could upload the video of the flight you arrived on to Sydney.
So nice to see you in Australia. Great video😀
when you go to the Philippines there is a direct flight from dubai to cebu
Qantas are great, as are your reviews. Nice work
Re the dirty traytable, given the brief turnaround time for these planes, even an ambitious cleaning crew barely has time to pick up the obvious litter and grunge, and they couldn't possibly check for invisible soiling. That would have to wait for a scheduled deep cleaning.
Hey Simply aviation I love all your videos but please do a TRIPREPORT To Indonesia pleaseeeeeeeee I would love it if you could do it! thanks..
So simply how do you think about our australian airliner
If your gonna fly domestic fly Virgin Australia Qantas is best for international flights.
Fly with virgin Australia from Darwin Australia to Perth
You got a old 737-800, new ones have IFEs on Qantas.
why dont you go to the Changi airport. I recently read about it..its really a fun place and i would love to see a simply aviation video on it. Cheers
