U just count in ur head, how many seconds does it take to get to the bottom, If u can feel the squid taking your lure, u can actually feel anything, like ur jig touching the rocks and weeds. Use cheap jig first, for example if u feel the rock or weeds or snagged at 10 seconds, next time u just count 9 or 8 seconds, and start jigging don’t wait. Also u need to know ur spot, remember where the rocks and weeds are, how deep those structures are, how many seconds u can wait for it to sink without snagging at both low and high tides.
Yes, I spent so much time to find a good spot, once I share it online, there will be 20 people at my spot next time and no squid for me. My videos share techniques not spots, hope u understand.

Haha you can try use the same colour of squid jig that he's using, squid sometimes do pick colours
@@EZfishingNZ yeah man he even gave me one of his Yazuri jigs. He was using a 2.25, I had 2.5. Once I get the feel for it I will be sorted.👌🏽

I will take that into account, usually I go for squid on wharf at night, daytime on rocks, not easy to take videos at night time
