When I was a kid we used go out at night on the tidal mud flats as the tide was coming in,with a spear, usually a manuka stick with a spear point attached, an inflated inner tube holding a motor bike battery connected to a sealed beam head light on a pole. Place the light under the water turn it on and the flounder were easy to see and spear. With a board strapped across the top of the inner tube to carry both the battery and a plastic fish box stolen from Skeggs fisheries to hold the catch it was easy to catch the limit in short order, it’s probably illegal now because it was so easy. Just had to wait for the right conditions, a still moonless night

我去，后面这么长的码头 你这不会是在bluff tiwai point那里吧。我是想请问你找flounder钓点有什么技巧吗 kerikeri附近很多河口 但是好像没有太平坦的地方 因为地质原因 town附近河床都是石头 到处是瀑布，瀑布上游纯淡水的情况下应该就没有flounder了吧？
