Awesome bro, been following since the Mangere Bridge days. I love your perseverance brother. Come up to the real Far North again. I know you did Houhora but there is plenty of other spots. Try the rocks at Henderson Bay for instance.
Them rocks looked tuff! The far north is one of my favourite parts of the country. I’m into land based, won’t give away any spots lol. From an Aucklander who now lives in Tūranganui-a-Kiwa
Awesome video bro. Rock fishing is awesome when it’s deep enough. Even cooler that you did some sight fishing too with the snapper that you could see in the burley trail.
Awesome stuff on the straylining your mate seems like a really good teacher. Very lucky on the squid mate!! I spent 4 winters trying to get one of those bloody things 😂😂😂🤬🤬
im sorry but the fishing up north of nz looks so easy. down in wellington especcially over winter it is much harder. it can be good and we catch a lot more gurnard than snapper, but catching like 10 legal snapper of a random rock on a random windy day in winter is impossible down south

cheers for watching. i definitely plan to return to the far north. still have more adventures to continue up there
