I don't know what it is about your videos...while the shorter ones are enjoyable...these long form movies are really easy to engross yourself in. I never thought I would listen/watch a 3 hour movie at work until your Driving to the West video where you hit both RV shows (Tampa and Arizona) in the same trip. I've watched it probably 10 times. Between the narration and music...it makes for a relaxing day. Now I'm nearly halfway through this 10 hour behemoth...half today...half tomorrow. Great way to end the week. Thanks for all the fun, but hard work you go through to put all this together.
I'm always so much more relaxed by your videos than any of the other RV UA-camrs. Your voice and music really soothe the anxiety of the day. I cannot sleep without sound in the background and I wake up often, I can just run the tab back and rerun the soothing hour. I watch until my eyes close on their own, and listen while I doze. You keep the running stressful thoughts of this world and the future pushed aside. Thank you.
"I just wanted to let you know that it's taken me a couple of days to finish your video, but I'm really enjoying your Alaska footage. Honestly, I enjoy every single video you share. You’re taking me all over the world, and I hope to do the same someday. Thank you so much for sharing; you both are amazing at capturing the world. There was one episode that had me laughing when one of the fishermen was walking so happily, only to lose the fish at the end."
Robert, we discovered your channel about the same time we bought our 22' Travel Lite Falcon travel trailer in 2019, and it has been both educational and a real joy to watch your journeys. I just wanted to tell you that I have seen a tremendous development of your talents in filming, editing and producing your videos. They have always been great, but these latest ones have been masterpieces. Your use of original music has matured and really adds to your dramatic presentation of the many natural wonders of this great continent. Thank you for sharing your journeys with us, but also, thank you to take the time to edit them so wonderfully. They are a real joy to watch and inspire us to get out there more often ourselves. -- R & K, Portland, Oregon
Robert, I am 69, just retired. I plan on following in your footsteps to Alaska and your other destinations in the coming years. Thank you so much for your videos!
"I just wanted to say how incredible your work is! Your videos are truly outstanding. You're an amazing editor, traveler, and speaker. Thank you for sharing your experiences. I love traveling too, and your last destination will definitely be on my list for my next trip!"🥇
FYI, Detroit is having the ultimate RV show at the Huntington Place from March 7-10, free admission. Huntington Place is Detroit's convention center. It is in downtown Detroit.
What a true epic journey you took and captured on film. Felt like I was there. Absolutely gorgeous. Loved the glaciers. You certainly put together great footage and I love listening to you. Thank you for sharing your trip!
I lived in Alaska for 3 years about 10 years ago. Your videos brought back lots of wonderful memories. Especially Anchorage area, Alyeska, Matanuska, Seward, Kenai and Valdez. I never made it up to Fairbanks, a real disappointment. There is so much more to see. Homer is a beautiful place with lots of Eagles. Bore tides are rare and the Turnagain is the best place to see one. If you go back, I'd recommend these places as well. Eagle River, North of Anchorage, has the Eagle River Nature Center, with nice hiking trails alongside great scenery. Hatcher Pass near Palmer is a great place to visit with old abandoned gold mines and stunning views. Eklutna Lake is another wonderful place, North of Eagle River. Thanks for recording all this. My husband and I sure do miss it a lot and this was great! 😊❤ P.S. The weather you had is fairly normal there. My first summer there it rained every day except 3 days. I got used to doing everything in the rain. My 2nd summer there was beautiful all summer. So, you just never know.
Great video. We’re going to Alaska in about a month and was looking for things to do. I ran across your video and thought there’s no way I’m going to be able to watch the whole thing. 10 hours and 50 minutes later it ended. Very professional work. Thank you.
You and Illy are rockstarts! We watched each video as they were released and then were so excited to see the movies come out. Your Alaska Series made us so homesick. Loved all your Alaska songs. When you go back to Alaska in a couple of years you should take the Alaska Marine Highway Ferry from Bellingham Washington to Haines and then drive from there. The ferry is so amazing!
Roberto as always thank you for the wonderful adventures. My mother in law I am sure is watching your videos in heaven. We used to watch them together. She would hum your intro song and I would laugh then we would sit down and watch some videos :). Gracias amigo.
Very impressive piece of work Robert! Thank you for taking the time to compile this video. Unfortunate that some areas of Alaska (Barrow) are so depressed and poor living conditions. I had considered doing a far noter RV trip, but with the road conditions, I don't think I'd take my motorhome on those roads. Gave me a good insight to what an Alaska road trip would be like.
Thank you. Enjoyed every second, I recently traveled from Denver to Fort Lauderdale and it took three days! So thanks for doing the hard part of driving,so I can just enjoy the good by watching you.safe travels
It will be great to watch it a little at a time depending on schedules. It should be great Robert's videos have always been very interesting and informative. I love watching them. This country is blessed with such great beauty.
wow every day new video! :D Now daily posting?? How are you able to do that?! :D Glazier looks great. Too sad that its melting so fast! :/ Greetings from Chicago
Love your videos Robert, so informative! Any tips for what food items are allowed across border into Canada. We are headed on our way with our 24ft class c in May.
Into Canada they care mostly about firearms and drugs. They didn't really ask about anything else. Coming back to the United States, don't bring eggs or poultry.
Wow, 10 hours... I watch a lot of Traveling Robert... 😅🤣😂
