Developed and published by New World Computing in 1990
Satirical, turn-based strategy where the objective is to nuke your opponents before they nuke you.
In addition to missiles and bombers, there are random occurrences, such as the dreaded bovine launcher attack!
I used to really enjoy this back in the day.

They gotta make a remake of this.
I still play this game to this day. 33 years on.
My highest score was 800 million in 1993.
Man I was proud of that.
All future cities and not ONE city lost.
What d'you think the permanent members of the UN security council, especially Russia, China and USA're doing? But Biden, Putin and Jinping won'te realise the implications and the stakes involved.
One of my favourite Amiga games!
Played this 30 years ago when i was 8 nice memories
Aaah the good Old A500 Days. I played this game until my dad waked up in the morning to go to work. So hooked on... 😀
I remember plotting my next drinking escapades with this game as a late teenager.
Real life right now, in 2024, is a prelude to the remake of this.
This game was ahead of its time.
I must play this, looks hilarious
It's really good fun 😁
@@AL82RetrogamingLongplays They should do a remake that can be cross play with tablets and online.
Bringing back this oldie but goodie dead corpse to the 21st century
I used to play this a lot when I was a kid, I had to search what it was called, I forgot, for some reason I thought it was mega lo mania, another good game, that and also loved populous
One of my favourite Games in my childhood
If I was terminally ill and had only one day left to live, I'd like to go out in that Major T. J. "King" Kong style.
Missing the "I won" animation at the end whilst wearing a biosuit :p
Hahaha, I totally forgot the bomb riding intro ... thank you for the memories
So many memories LOL..this should be resurrected in Steam for windows LOL
I played this back in the good ol days :)
If I knew how to program I'd do a 2022 version that is online for people to battle it out and cross play with tablets.

Dont get it. How did you win?
He still had someone left alive (represented by the lone tent symbol left on the map).
Kind of the dark humoured point the game is making about nuclear conflict - the earth may be a radioactive cinder in space and 99% of the human race is dead, but so long as the surviving 1% belongs to you, you win.
@@CountScarlioni ohhh... gotcha 😁
Motus
Are you cheating
fun but stupid game.. no skill basically comes down to who the AI wants to win.
Pffft! Then you didn't know how to play it.
I won every time
@@fuqupal Really? I can't say i've ever won this game. To be fair when i used to own an Amiga i was like 8 years old, but after it was brought up in a conversation about a week ago i've been playing it online.... i'm older but no better. I watched this video hoping to get some tips but honestly this person plays exactly like I do... he just didn't have everyone gang up on him.
The last game I played, I lost a city on turn 1 after 3 people used propaganda on me and it took it all from the same city. Turn 2 my smallest city was destroyed by missile. And then around turn 5 or so, one of my cities just decided to blast off into space. So i'm going to agree with Pete in that this game is way more luck than it is skill.
Nah, there are strategies, like the enemy of your enemy is your friend. Then betray them when it suits you! Also if you build too frequently (i.e. stockpile weapons) all the others will quickly turn against you.
This is disgusting to normalize nuclear war
Disgusting yeah. But fun!
Woosh!
