Hi Timothy, thanks for your honest opinion. I was debating over the video aspect of this camera which I was looking for, but you clearly mentioned that it is geared more towards photography. You have a good command of English and I like it. Yes, as others also noticed, your video background music is dominating. Great video with good information.
Yeah this camera is generally geared more towards photographers and lacks in the video department, my other video on the xt3 might peak your interest though! And thanks for the feedback!!!
Thanks for the video, Kenneth! Nice to hear an honest assessment, warts and all. You're right to point out the downsides for videographers- it's really a stills camera with incidental video abilities. It's video and auto focus where most innovation takes place, so video nerds will suffer the dreaded GAS rather more often than stills people. You didn't mention dynamic range - important to landscape or low-light specialists- where the RIII is as good as anything you can buy as latest and greatest. Since few hobbyists bother with prints and most photos are viewed on mobile devices, it is arguable that image resolution is no longer a big deal. However, for those of us who like to use a big monitor, pixel-peeping is still a buzz. I've just talked myself into buying an RIII. Well done and good luck with the channel! ....ps... go easy on the background music
Printing even letter size prints there is a noticeable difference between the R and the 24mp 7iii. I'll never get rid of my Riii and will buy another if mine ever craps out. I purchased a Riv but returned it because it got so noisy so fast. The AF really wasn't a big enough improvement to me either. The Rii/Riii is one of the best sensors ever made. I'm disappointed they didn't develop upon it more.
I had the Sony A7RIII, it is a great Camera and I can highly recommend it, for the new price or the used prices you can get for these days, it is a bargain !
The background music is too loud.
Thanks for the feedback!

I just purchased mine second hand, less than 1000 actuations, cost me $1200 on eBay with accessories. Really stoked
