Hospitality in Egypt absolutely is phenomenal ! As an Egyptian I'm so glad to hear this phrase . Thank you so much for the nice words ! I wish you a happy moments in my country ❤️
Wow once again amazing footage I love the way all your videos are so real …. I’m also happy you got to meet Ian and Anna I found your channel while I was watching their cross country series …. As a dream of mine is to live 3 months in a van as I drive around the USA to national parks … best wishes as always and safe travels to you both … I am looking forward to watching another Egypt video … Thank you for all the hard work and dedication to your channel
Thank you for your extremely kind words! It was a pleasure to meet Ian and Anna. Always great to be able to talk about our UA-cam jobs haha. Also it is very cool you found us shortly after watching their USA series. I have no doubt you can live in a van in the USA someday! We can’t wait to share the rest of our experiences we’ve been having in this wonderful country! Thanks for gifting us with your time! We do not take it for granted.
Cannot wait to see some of the antiquities of the time of the Pharaohs. The footage of the train ride to Luxor, Egypt was extremely comfortable. Have fun sightseeing!
Your train ride looked luke a lot of fun and being waited on Nice service and getting to your next destination the view looks amazing. Love your home theater 👍🏻 Thank you for sharing your travels and can’t wait for next video. You two make awesome videos always ❤️😃
you guys are making me feel bad I took the plane from Cairo to Luxor! haha! I hope you enjoyed the people of Aswan and walked their souq. They have the kindest beautiful people. AND FOOD IS YUMMMMY
Hello Claire and Chad ☺️ Its always a pleasure watching your videos. I watched your last videos about your house renovation, have you postponed your house renovation to go in Egypt? You two are just amazing 💕
Hey Lisa! We are currently juggling the house project while traveling abroad. So currently, as you said, the house project is on hold until we fly home at the end of the month.
We took that same train from Cairo to Luxor- it was awful and we got no sleep. The constant rocking, stopping and starting was not good for a restful sleep. When we got to Luxor we cancelled our morning tour and went to the hotel and slept until noon! I had romantic ideas of an overnight train - never again!! 😫
What a great video! Everyone I've spoken to has told me that there are supernatural spirits roaming around Luxor, especially in and around the Nile and the temples. I've heard very eery stories about the presence of those spirits in dreams too. Did you have a similar experience?
What train station did you leave Cairo from? How did you book the ticket? What was the cost of the first class sleeper car? Please remember that actual travelers watch these videos and this is the kind of information that would be super helpful to your viewers. Sure, a lot of the people watching are not travelers and couldn’t care less about that info but you do have some actual travelers watching and would love that kind of info being included. I have my first Egypt trip in a few months and was hoping you included actual helpful info in the video….your video was great if your only goal was to tell people about your travels, but if you’re also wanting to help future travelers, please include information that will help us have similar experiences. Thank you
In Egypt, it’s very hard for foreigners to buy cheap train tickets. The best way to get from Cairo to Luxor is to book the train ticket through the hostel or hotel you’re staying at, bypassing the expensive foreigner ticket. I was quoted around 190USD for a first class ticket from Cairo to Luxor and back to Cairo from Aswan, booked through my hostel.
I might've missed it, but how much was the first class sleeper? Is that the VIP booking on the Ernst website? We are heading to Egypt in October! Love your page!
Loved this! Still am waiting for us to find a place with an overnight train :( We haven't found anywhere in Central America that we can take an overnight train unfortunately... the guy was so nice! Great customer service is so important like that I'm glad y'all had a good time

I would advice you to know a local, so that you won’t get swindled
Great advice and certainly noted! We have been traveling with locals from this point on.

How did you book your ticket? Was the driver who collected you from the accommodation?
Hi Chad, May I ask how much per person for the train. Which is the web site for booking the train ticket. Thanks
