Love this track. You need to release it! How you make sounds from scratch is so impressive. Thanks for sharing your skills and knowledge. ❤from Brooklyn
Thanks. Nice tutorial! Not sure if this helps; I fund the best way to work out the key of something I bring into sampler is to add a tuner, play c, look at the tuner, then work out how far away the sample is in semitones, then adjust the 'root' note in the sample window until the tuner reads a c note. That way the sampler is calibrated and what you play is what you get. Hope that makes sense :)
easily the best tutorial i've seen so far. very well explained on how to do everything. nothing is rushed. an the outcome is great. thank you very good video.
I liked this but could you go into more detail on how you made the main pad sound in Serum? That was the key part for me for getting it to sound like a Lofi house track and it wasn't explained
That trick of finding the key on the midi keyboard is cool. I wanted to ask if the key found this way is unique, and will there be any other harmonics? Thanks K!
Thanks! This is kind of my way to figure out the root notes of the chords that are playing and then you can work out what key it is in from there. The more you listen to chords the easier it will be to identify if they are like 7 chords, inversions, etc.
@@amaxlevin Thanks mister resident of "toady planet" 🙂🙂 Well, my planet name is ' the planet of Love' . Have you ever listened about Love or the only thing you know and understand is Hate and jealousy ??? well , there is a product for you, it's very popular and might be very useful for the people like you, it's called ' Burnol ' , apply it on your A**
Wow, great tutorial. With all respect I don’t understand how you have so little subscribers considering how many well produced videos you have. 🤔. You have great videos and great content! Keep the videos coming your hard work will pay off. Do you send your content anywhere else like Instagram or FB? Liked and subscribed!
Thanks so much! I really appreciate it! I do share some of my content to Reddit and Instagram, but I’m not as active on there as I probably should be haha. Definitely more videos coming soon!
@@khartbeats the main reason I commented was because I’ve been thinking about making some of my own tutorials and after seeing how good your videos are I was a little discouraged after seeing you subscriber count. Again, I say that with the utmost respect. I’ve noticed that a lot of other beat makers will do tutorials like yours but will do them “in the style of…” then use a popular artist name. In other words, your title for this video could have said “Making Deep, Lofi House from scratch with Ableton Live in the style of Black Loops”. This way the algorithm pick your video for anyone searching Black Loops and beat making videos. P.S. If you never heard of Black Loops he’s great be sure to look him up. ✌🏼
@@namaste303 that’s good advice. I’ll keep that in mind. Definitely don’t be discouraged and give the videos a try if you’re passionate about it! Even without a ton of subscribers it can be rewarding. Adding Black Loops to my list of artists to check out, too.
pov: your high school science teacher shows you how to make a banger
Great video! I love the way you edit; it's easy to watch and doesn't have the super excessive editing that other channels tend to do nowadays :)
Thanks so much! I try to keep it simple. I appreciate the feedback 🙂

House and lofi?? Dream come true! I gotta make a track like this. Thanks for the inspiration
Right?? It’s a great combo. And thanks!
You make it look so easy.. Really love the deep house vibes :)
Thank you! There is definitely a lot of editing to make these videos a good length for UA-cam lol

The Wavetable sound design is useful
I use wave table to create a bunch of my own sounds, you don’t need many plugins when you get good at it
Thats fire!!
Thanks!!

@@khartbeats by any chance do you have courses on mixing and mastering K?
@@RFunkMusic I have a video on mastering on my channel. Haven’t done mixing yet. Hopefully soon 🙂
It can't be, just sat down at the PC to write a lo-fi house and here is your video. Thinking in the same direction. 😂
Great minds think alike! 😆
