Miranda Richardson aka Queenie/Amy is a Golden Globe and BAFTA winning actress who's appeared in a number of well known films including Empire of the Sun, Sleepy Hollow and The Hours. You might recognise her from her role as the untrustworthy journalist Rita Skeeter in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Stephen Fry makes an appearance as the Duke of Wellington* in the last episode of this series. It's well worth waiting for. (*Thanks to Norman Tidiman for correcting me).
The first time I saw him where he was totally unrecognizable from all his appearances in 'Blackadder" - including Capt. Darling in 'Blackadder Goes Forth" - , was in one or two episodes of "New Tricks'. By then he was completely bald, had a full beard, added some pounds, and spoke in an accent so posh, butter wouldn't melt in his mouth.
@@neilsun2521 yeh I think it’s partly why he doesn’t do much media. If you watch him 1 or 2 seconds before he speaks you can sometimes see a tick before he speaks. Makes his performances even more amazing when you realise how hard he has to fight it.
@@AfterWorkReactions No doubt he’ll have had a certain amount of elocution lessons in the past being an actor, but I know it only really comes out on one or two letters, R’s being one of them. It’s probably why Mr. Bean was such a successful character lol he never spoke more than a few words.
Baldrick: "I have a cunning plan"
Josh: "Oh no... ".
Josh is now one of us
LOL Baldrick is awesome =]
@@AfterWorkReactions season 4 features some of his recipes........ never accept coffee from him 🤣🤣🤣
After series 3 ends the next one in sequence is the 50 minute special 'Blackadder's Christmas Carol' from 1988...
Yes - and that's actually a very very good one indeed! I used to have the VHS. Definitely worth Josh watching it.
The Caroline bit cracks me up lol. Can’t imagine meeting someone like that in real life lol.
Another great episode. Yeah, that was Miranda Richardson who played Queenie in series 2.
She's very good in this and in Goes Forth.
Sausage time 🤣🤣🤣
The bit where Blackadder is describing Caroline of Brunswick is particularly funny because the Prince Regent ended up marrying her
Oh ok that is awesome, thanks for the info bud!
@@AfterWorkReactions When the real prince first met his bride-to-be he was so horrified he actually fainted.
Oh no that’s awful
To see Tim without his beard, he does appear in Doctor Who in the episode "Planet of the Ood". Tim is also in the film Erik The Viking as Sven.

Don't forget 'The Crying Game' where she plays a rather nasty piece of work.
Always entertaining, Rowan's one liners are sublime.
I have a plan, Really Baldrick? a cunning and subtle one.
I agree, his lines are always hilarious, especially when replying to Baldrick =]

If you've ever seen the David Tennant Doctor Who's, Tim McKinnery is a main character in 'Planet of the Ood, too.
Drink?
Tim McInnerny did an amazing performance as Iago in Shakespeare's Otehllo at The Globe in 2007. There are clips of it available on youtube.

He was brilliant in the 1985 BBC political thriller "Edge of Darkness" check it out sometime! The soundtrack by Eric Clapton is absolutely iconic.
5:12 “your money worries ar ar are over Sir”, here’s one of the few examples in Blackadder where you hear Rowan’s real life stutter.
There is a few throughout the series
I honestly had no idea he had one!

That is interesting, you catch it here and there but he must have practiced hiding it.

Fry pops up in the final episode and is a main character in blackadder 4
She’s also the villain in Sleepy Hollow staring Johnny Depp
Oh ok, I haven't seen that movie in years I will have to give it a rewatch.
"Percy" returns in season 4 as Capt Darling😂😂😂
I still use 'i have a cunning plan mylord' 🤣🤣🤣

"Eric the viking"...
Funny enough, he Blackadder as Prince George did marry Princess Caroline.
And boy what a drama their marriage was.
You'll get Stephen Fry on the next one, if I'm not mistaken. As Duke Wellington.
