"The last turkey in the shop" , always loved that line 😂🤣🤣
😂
For me, I don’t think Blackadder ever got better than this episode. It was, and still is, perfect. Every character is totally on point and kills it. One of my all time favourite comedy scenes from any sitcom is when General Melchett is getting ready for the ball and Darling gets all confused. It’s so clever.😂
"I want to cover every inch of your gorgeous body in pepper and then sneeze all over you"
"Really, sir, I must protest!!"
I don’t know if it just personally preference - but private plane was the pinnacle for me. For starters, rik mayall’s flasheart is brilliant in it, edmonson’s Red Baron too. And all the scenes are so quick fire, back and forth dialogue with Blackadder and flasheart being able to match wits on the insults.
Correct, very Comical episode but, the late Great Rick M., Captain Flashcard, maybe a touch Funnier.
The fact that as soon as Baldrick declares "I have a cunning plan", you immediately say "oh shit", is like music to my ears. You are one of us Josh! Finally, you are one of us!
Two-legged badger wrapped in a curtain...awesome!
Ah Josh, we need your reactions and we need your infectious laughter as much as an ostler needs his ...ostle! So glad you enjoy these episodes, Josh!
I think of the cut jokes, my favorite is the rapid-fire suggestions of other leading ladies.
"Willis?" "Too short."
"Petheridge?" "Too old."
"Taplow?" "Too dead."
Blackader goes fourth is the greatest peice of television ever
😁 so nice to see you enjoy this one so much✨Thanks for the laughs, I enjoyed it all over again 👍🤩
We're in the stickiest situation since Sticky the stick insect got stuck in a sticky bun. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Last turkey in the shop! Brilliant.
Ah how my day gets better when these uploads go up! Hope your happy safe and healthy Dude!
04:42 Nicholas II who used to be bazaar.
21:14 A witty rewrite of a war poem, there.
25:34 They want a "leading lady", not a librarian impression.
I thought Nicholas II used to be bizarre
Charlie Chaplin is mostly forgotten in the 21st century. He was famous for doing an impersonation of Baldrick & Graham.
Rowan Atkinson actually has a slight stutter on the letter "B", which is why he says Bob as he does. One of the writers Ben Elton would purposely put in B words because the way Atkinson says it
When I think of Blackadder season 4 the first thing that comes to mind is BEEEHH!
I'm over 50, I grew up watching Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Harold Lloyd and Laurel and Hardy. TV used to show these classics like Looney Tunes.
Yes they did. Cant believe they are never shown at all anymore. Tom & Jerry, Looney Tunes, Laurel & Hardy shorts.....
I’m gen X but I watched a lot of those. Along with Abbot & Costello, the 3 stooges, the Marx brothers and cartoons like Tom & Gerry.
I think that Elton & Curtis were a bit harsh of Chaplin. He wasn’t just slapstick physical comedy, when the talkies came along he also excelled in more highbrow satire. By all accounts he was no slouch. He had to work within the technical limitations of his times.
Harold Lloyd was brilliant
Baldrick is one of the greatest comedy creations ever
So many great characters and actors truly brilliant telly
Apparently they chose the name ‘Bob’ like ‘Baldrick’ because Rowan Atkinson has a slight speech impediment and has trouble pronouncing ‘B’s’ in words. Which he and the writers utilised to make it funnier every time he says it.
Always a great watch. Thanks for still reacting to all our crazy shows hahahaa peace
On my god, my dear, Buster Keaton was not a stuntman, he was a genius of cinema who created magnificent visual effects with his own body. Calling him a stuntman is like saying Albert Einstein was handy with a calculator. Check out The General.
I imagine the confusion comes from Keaton doing all his own stunts.
Great reaction as usual Josh, makes it better laughing along with you 😆👍😂🇬🇧
Love seeing your videos come up - hope you’re doing well man! 🙌🏻
Yay, Blackadder😁 glad you got to this one….enjoy 👍🤗
The huge mustache 😂😂😂😂
In case you don't know, shag is both coitus and a type of tobacco. Not sure if you can still get it though - the tobacco, that is.
I wait for these. I love Rowan Atkinson. He even sounds comedic in Braveheart.
Rowan Atkinson in Braveheart???
@@feonor26 1st battle "the kings terms? They'll never live up to them....fine, fine - deliver the terms." "They seem quite optimistic to me. Maybe they do want to fight."
@@Deepthoughtsabound Well that's not Atkinson I'm afraid even tho I can agree he is a bit similar. I don't see Rowan Atkinson in the cast list of the movie either.
Great comedy series, and great actors
Baldrick, the slug is dead. If it failed to cling on to life I see no reason why it should attach itself to your upper lip...
Next episode is the best of them all, probably.
Once you’ve watched this season, you need to watch Blackadder back and forth! The new millennium special! It’s on UA-cam!
Season 4 of Blackadder is defo the magnum opus. It's just timelessly fun.
I’m glad you like this comedy.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
George is the reason I cant take House seriously. He never played a serious character like that in England, he was always a comedy actor and as good as he is in a role like that... I'm just waiting for the punchline.
When Russia abandoning the Eastern front was a bad thing
I grew up with this - British comedy at it's finest
You should check out Life's Too Short. It's another one of Ricky Gervais creations. Proper funny
And next up is my favourite episode of s4, woof woof
Shame a fav scene of mine got spliced. When to great relief, Cpt Darling realised Melchets 'Lovey' remarks, were for his Fiance' Georgina, and NOT for him, ''GEORGINA' ? oh -- Thank God !
Enjoyed that Josh 😂 😂😂 cheers mate..
Excellent reaction thanks 😊
This one is good but it drowns in variations on the "it's the X thing since X did X" joke. Too much.
This one was brilliant I really enjoyed it😂😂❤
Did you notice they mentioned funny shaped vegetables near the beginning which was a reference to the Blackadder 2 turnip shaped like a dick episode?
My absolute fave
Happy Valentine's Josh❤
Great reaction as always Josh.
You’re now getting pretty close to one of the most poignant and iconic moments in British TV history, not just comedy but all TV…Blackadder and the rest going ‘over the top’ in the final episode.
That scene.....damn, i'll get the tissues ready.
After work Reactions is in its prime.......
Nobody says the name "Bob" like Rowan Atkinson
My neice has a stick insect called Sticky.
The best season
Exactly why I couldn’t watch “House.” Hugh Laurie is a comic and I can’t watch him doing drama.
Of those early comics, I'd say WC Fields is the best, followed by Laurel and Hardy and The Marx Brothers.
Brilliant 🤣👍
Brilliant...
This is probably my least favourite episode of the season
And it's still fantastic
Bobb
George is Dr house
On the contrary, Dr. House is George.
Funnier as Baldrick is famously left wing in real life.
Are you still doing little britain reactions ?
You should watch the one foot in the grave season 4 episode 5. Hilarious
something terribly wrong with the vid quality
