Thank you for the video. I am a 55 yo retired military vet and will be retiring in the near future from law enforcement and looking to move to Wyoming from Texas with my wife. We both enjoying watching the good and bad UA-cam videos and you give us even more to think about. We really enjoy visiting Wyoming and for those of you that are locals that have had enough of the implants we certainly understand being from Texas ourselves. However, we can't wait to move out of Texas to a slower paced, rural area where we can have some peace from the overwhelming migration to Texas. People from all over the world and country are moving here to the point it has changed this state so much we do not recognize it anymore. We both recognize other states like Wyoming aren't immune to this rapid population growth but we are hoping the wild animals, harsh winters, and fewer job opportunities means less people than here. We are both very conservative, love nature, the outdoors and are ready for a little boredom. Anyway, thank you so much for the video. It certainly helps those of us wanting a different life to live.
Thank you for sharing your story @olderlivin! It sounds like you and your wife are ready for an exciting new chapter in Wyoming. I appreciate your perspective on the changes in Texas and the desire for a slower-paced lifestyle. Wyoming definitely has its unique charm, with its stunning natural beauty and outdoor opportunities. If you have any specific questions about moving or living in Wyoming, feel free to ask! If you ever decide to come out, let me know if you need any recommendations.🙏
Hey @barano9729, I get where you're coming from. When you're looking for a new home, having options from different builders is key. It's important to check out all the possibilities out there to find the perfect home that fits your budget and lifestyle. If you're up for it, I can help you out and keep you in the loop on any new builders or listings popping up in the area.
Hey @alabamaal225! For retirees, the appeal might be the scenic beauty and tranquility. For others, it might be harder to find reasons to move there unless they have specific ties or opportunities.

New homes prices and the fact there was only one builder to choose from was a real deal breaker for us.

Home builders in Wyoming are like Unicorns. Try and build one in these conditions and you'll know why.
We lived on Shady Lane and it was nothing to have a moose walk by and go stroll in the park across the street. We loved it there but work was sparse.
Awesome @MaryShmee! Thanks for sharing your experience. What else are your favorite things to do in the city?
The restaurants are horrible there.
I'm sorry to hear about your negative experience! What else happened?
The real question is, why would go there in 1st place?
Hey
@toddgittins5692! Evanston might offer unique opportunities for those willing to explore them.
Why didn't you answer the question ? Evidently you didn't do enough research before moving there.
@@dragons8822 I'm here for employment. I didn't have a choice.
If you like wind, ice, snow and brutally cold winter temperatures , Wyoming is for you.
Thanks for taking the time to comment. 👍
If you're a retiree with enough money, you can live just about anywhere. If you're not retired, I can't see much reason moving to Wyoming in general.

Evanston, gateway to fort Bridger. 😂
Hi @jameshatchett8095! I'm always happy to answer any questions.
Is there any diversity there ?
Yes there is some here. Diversity is relative form where you are coming from. thank you for watching the videos :)
@carterpettit1 / thanks for responding, but I'm looking for NO diversity. Shalom
Yes, 70% LDS and 30% other.
