@@UssaWashington we do have a great urgent care!! We also have a hospital, it’s not a big hospital. There is another hospital in park city Utah about 45 mins away.

Hi @Schroedb87! Yes, you’re right! It’s an income tax-free state, which is a big draw for many people. And it’s definitely close to Salt Lake City airport, great for easy travel. Are you thinking of moving to the area?

That sounds like a great plan! Evanston has a lot to offer, and you’ll probably be able to find some great deals.

There is a beautiful little town south of Caspar called Chugwater. I remember travelling through it many years ago and thinking that it would be a great town to retire in. Torrington is a nice town on the Nebraska border. Of course, Gillette and Buffalo are growing towns in the northeast corner, not far from Devil's Tower and the Black Hills. I grew up in the Black Hills of South Dakota and Wyoming and you won't find friendlier people in the US than in eastern Wyoming.

We call eastern WA state our home, but wanted to move closer to our winter home in St. George, Utah just to make travelling back and forth easier. We checked out the Lyman/Fort Bridger area this summer, and after some research decided against it for now. Utilities and water were our main concern, WA still wins out on those costs...and we are only a mile from Idaho so we take advantage of the lower prices for gas and lower sales tax for major purchases in Idaho. We also like the convenience of medical and shopping compared to the Evanston area. Maybe in the future if the housing market implodes, but for now we will travel our 1000 miles back and forth twice a year....
