I have the same issue. People are saying I need to go to dealer to so they can time the gears but I’m like your just changing a gasket not replacing any gears. Correct me if I’m wrong
I know it doesn't. But if you look at the video I didn't touch any gear.... volvos are known for leak at the upper timing.. you can have truck look at again at another place
My truck was having the same issues the ishift is running better since I adjusted the 5th wheel because I'm running a 240 wheel base and went in the dawg house and replaced the covers
Done this job before. Pain in the butt. Good video for the newbs attempting to do this job. Take your time and don’t forget the RTV!

The issue on this truck is that it was leaking oil from the gasket. It didn't have anything to do with the gear or timing.
