I’m new to selling cards on eBay. Do you think buyers are drawn more to sellers who have lots of positive reviews, or do you think it will hurt me if I don’t have any reviews to start?…Also at what card value do you recommend getting a PSA grade on? I wouldn’t assume it’s cost effective to get a grade on a card that’s only worth $10.
Hey Brett, Everyone has to start somewhere. It definitely helps if you have a good positive rating with awesome feedback, but it's not needed. Get your cards listed and start small. $5-$10 cards are a great place to start selling/. It builds positive feedback quickly. You can also get it by buying these cards. As for grading, grade what you want. Period. However, if you're trying to grade to flip and make money, I'd say grade cards that are worth at least about $100. It really depends
Another thing you can say not accepting returns it doesn’t matter if the buyer doesn’t want the item they can send it back and get their money back immediately.
Great info. Very helpful. I'm 65 and selling off my cards but as I do it I'm interested in the current stuff. Can you do a video on Current hockey cards for dummies? So many brands so many rookies very confusing. Thanks.
Hi, I would like to do an auction with 5 cards from a basketball collection I have. How do I do this since even though it should be a lot, I see no way on the listing form where I can enter each player's name separately. My title has all their names in it.
Hey quick question! So I tried listing a card and it said due to price gouging, I’d need to be an authorized seller? Do you know if this is a glitch or maybe did something incorrectly??
Not sure of the exact card, if it’s a new account you have to build (sell a bit and grow your rating, your selling limit and eventually you won’t have many selling restrictions). I would ask eBay in the live chat! I recently used this to up my selling limit - Cheers Mitch
Ebay is an excellent site to buy and sell cards! I actually just picked up a PSA 10 Topps of Harper that was on your bidding! I think I got a steal yesterday. I picked up Acuna's PSA 10 on the bat's down Holiday for $54 before tax. Curious to know what you think! Nice video man!
Milone Money Mindset awesome buy. Anything Acuna Mint like that at that particular price is legit. Take a look at Austin meadows and tatie jr ;) - Mitch
Mitchell Bouchard thanks dude! I was so excited I had a max bid at $60 and didn’t think that would go from my past experience with that card. Def will look into those. Love the channel! Looking forward to more of your guys content!
I recently pulled signed rookie cards of alvarez, bichette and acuna. Should i get them psa rated? How much does getting a card rated cost and does it bring the price up significantly?
Any tips on how to find the actual value of the card? I have a ton of 91 fleer/upper deck Michael Jordan cards and I see them going for anywhere between $30 and $35,000... so I have no idea what to think about that haha
Try to look for prizm, select or nba hoops. The market is about to pop come playoffs. Also look to buy rookie cards you think will do well in playoffs. Ps- are you related to NBA player Mychal Mulder?
I am trying to start selling all my nfl team base cards as a group (31 different listings) this video was extremely helpful. If you have any other advise for a noob like me id appreciate it. Thanks for making this video man!
Great vid! Im confused about the master card, visa, pay pal etc. Does the seller set that up or is that all done thru ebay? Also, how is a seller paid? How often?
I just wish people doesn't scam others specially if they want to trade as we'll instead of selling at this point becoming a collectors is just not a good idea or investment. I mean there are locals but they don't give you the amount you want sometimes even though that's what i do since its more saver doing it that way.
I had a fairly large(few hundred cards)older collection 1970’s-1990’s with maybe one or two cards in the 10$-20$ range...Within the past few months tho i started buying packs whenever i was at the store and repeatedly pulled multiple valuable rookie and signed cards. Now i have a small stack of about 30 present day cards worth a few hundred all together. Its pretty fun actually :)
I go months without selling cards or any items for that matter. I like to wait for the right time to sell. Four months ago I didn't sell much, however this month I sold a lot more with NBA and NHL playoffs here. Trust me, the sales are most definitely there lol
Hi I am just starting out , I have put several cards on Ebay with no hits ....when I list a card should I put it on Ebay Canada or Ebay .com....or does it matter I live in Mississauga Ont.

Around 13% and there’s also insertion fees

Very cool!
Is it expensive if you have to ship outside the US?
Hey bro quick question, whats standard shipping cost to the us from canada of you were to ship out 1 card in like a 4x8? is it x2 1.94 stamps?
Idk if I should do it now lol
Great video. What can you do to not be scammed when selling?
Silverrush use tracking and if it’s super expensive consider in person
On eBay you don't ship the item until you receive payment. You can decide to turn returns off as well if you want

Search “1991 fleer ultra Micheal Jordan” click the sold and completed boxes and you’ll have a market price of what’s selling.
Enter the card on both card mavin and ebay and see what its actually being bought for, that should give you a good ballpark price to post it for.
Hey man, I’m also from Windsor, I’ve just started investing in basketball cards, can you give me any tips?

Exactly what I was looking for ! Great vid
Amazing! Glad we can help. What else would you like to see? - Mitch
I usually offer free shipping

does ebay have seller fees?
Yes
@@redcapesports do you know the percentage?
👍 Great video and info.
What is your ebay?
How should you sell cards, when you don't have the feedback on eBay to show that you are a reputable seller?
I go months without selling cards or any items for that matter. I like to wait for the right time to sell. Four months ago I didn't sell much, however this month I sold a lot more with NBA and NHL playoffs here. Trust me, the sales are most definitely there lol
