Just recently bought this machine and it's absolutely great,but there is one major issue,shinemate advertising this machine a 3 inch tool and not supplying the actual 3 backing plate is a complete falsehood,your actually sold the unit under false pretence,your now asking customers to purchase the 3 inch attachments separately?for that false advertising everyone of the units you sell you need to be supplying those parts for free,but I would put my house on it you will wait an eternity to get the parts,I'm not a happy customer when companies pull stunts like this,just as well we have consumer laws in the UK,advertising goods that your not providing in the sale?that's illegal....
Hi, sorry for your experience, but we never advertise EB210 as a 3" machine, it is a multi-function machine, rotary& DA in one, users can install backing plates of 31mm, 48mm, 62mm, and 74mm to it, it is not wise to advertise it just as a 3" unit, the working heads and backing plates are expandable, there will be more coming up, not all attachments are free, customers need to pay extra for what's not included in the standard kit, so there must be some misunderstanding between you and your seller. Have they not told you what attachments are in the kit?
@shinemateofficial Hi,never expected this but the answer to your question is no,they said they don't check inside the kit,their advertising showed as a 3 inch unit which they have since removed,I bought this specifically for its 3 inch use,I have asked they replace what is needed or replace it with a eb351 3/12 of which they said they can't get so we've settled on them replacement of the parts,my frustration is how long this will take now we've agreed.
Just lost me as a UK customer after reading this....
Bought one today, same issue only the 62mm backing plate, no 74mm. also only the 12mm rotary fitting, not the 5 mm stroke.. They don't mention that the minimum speed on the rotary is 3000 rpm, a little fast and you can't use the trigger to regulate the speed, its on or off. you can work with it but as a detailing tool it should have a better speed regulator down low.. But in saying this it works well with the 12 rotary fitting so far still a great tool. But guys just add the 74mm base plate.

Hi there, This might be a silly novice question but would it accommodate a 5in pad on the 3 in plate or is that not possible? Or can it accommodate a 4 or 5 in packing plate with an M8 thread?
It's best that the pads are 1" larger than the backing plate

My revised take,having spoke to Shinemate directly i have to say i was extremely impressed,not only have they rectified my issue but the service was top drawer,the whole thing removed all reservations of the company, so much so I've decided to purchase another because they really are very good...

When will this come out??? I need to get my hands on this polisher ASAP! I've been needing a nice 3" polisher and I refuse to go the rupes way. I need this in my arsenal!
We are making some modifications on it after many times testing, probably first half of this coming year it will be available
