A D/A and trying to determine what my next D/A polisher will be. I don't need a RUPES and am still scared of a rotary polisher. I have a late '90s Porsche 993 with single stage paint.
Hey Brian! So glad you got that cheap crap grease out of that fine machine! I always see Sandro from car craft auto detailing using those shine mates. That guy knows his stuff too. If you have never enjoyed one of his videos I have to recommend.
Hello, I have several shine matte polishers and I never changed the original grease they bring from the factory and nothing was ever broken! Luckily maybe, but I have several ex610, ex620, ex603. Ex605 . Ex803k . Greetings from Argentina 🇦🇷.
Love a good polisher review! I just picked up the Griot’s 3 inch and love it. Just used it today to spot correct a nasty imperfection with a 50/50 pad and 3D One. 🍻🍻🍻
I really like the look of this polisher as Shinemate makes high quality products. I do wish they were more readily available here in the south. Thank you for this video!
Very interesting Sir!!! You are the coolest.....for showing the innards of Polishers, & the grease!! I never would've realized that's something to check, & what to use instead. As Mr. Spock would say....."Fascinating". 🧐🤓
Love my Shinemates, i have 15mm and rotary with tons of attachment and pads. They are powerful and Dependable and Cost Effective! Great Video Boss !! also have 8mm from Griots Garage. and my old Dewalt rotary , too heavy but great for certain jobs.
One polisher. Old school porter cable. But I want to upgrade to something with a longer throw. And shine maté polisher’s are at the top of my list cause of the quality and the price
I have a SPTA corded dual action polisher, powerful and smooth, with medium to low noise due to your reccomendation of changing the grease, I use Lucas lithium, excellent machine!
Great Review 😊. Did you take your Moms Vacum cleaners apart as a child ? Seems like you have a lot of experience taking electric machines apart ..... 😮
Looks like a nice unit. The switch where it is is terrible. I have something similar, and I don't like it. Thanks for the demonstration. Appreciate it.
Brian Sir, if I may ask, would it be sufficient for me to polish my car using Shinemate DA 3inches and 5 inches unit? Meaning I am required to purchase 2 units DA polishers. Kindly advise. Thanks
Can you put a 5 inch plate on it? The specs on the shine mate 5 inch of this machine are identical. Begs the question if you can just change the plate size and away you ho
After a 15mm polisher, and maybe a 21mm....this would be my next choice. How many polishers do you have in your arsonal?
I have 3 Da's and 1 rotary!
I have a total of 6 Polishers with different sizes and attachments.
A mid '60's Sioux that weighs near 20 lbs. Then its Flex rotary city w/4. Then the Flex Beast obit. And a pair of Porter Cable's for on/off sealants.
A D/A and trying to determine what my next D/A polisher will be. I don't need a RUPES and am still scared of a rotary polisher. I have a late '90s Porsche 993 with single stage paint.

I have this unit and been using for over a year now. Tremendous power but still very smooth. Great machine. 👍👍
Very well made machine.

Thanks for the video Brian. With technology getting better with the cordless market, it’s easy to look past the corded units now. JMHO.

Great review! I love my shinemate polishers.
Great video Brian definitely looks like a good choice.
I swear you are the Detail King! I'm just saying!
how do the shinemate corded 5" and 3" polishers compare with the Griots G15 and G13?

Heard great thing about the shine mate polishers 👍
Bought a griot’s 3 inch corded used twice then got a flex pxe80 haven’t used the griot’s since
Love the polisher tear down vids
I know this is off topic, but can you do a video on tips washing, polishing, a car in the hot weather…outdoors? Thank you
Looks very similar to my Harbor Freight Chicago Electric DA, which I still use after 3+ years. I wonder if the same company builds them in China?
Great Review 😊. Did you take your Moms Vacum cleaners apart as a child ? Seems like you have a lot of experience taking electric machines apart ..... 😮
I love my ex603 🔥 helped me out a ton on my past 2 correction jobs

Adams sells this same polisher re-branded. You can’t get a really good price on it, as they’re always having sales.
Hi Brian! Any chance we can swap the backing plate to a 1inch version?
Hey Brian do they have a 1”,2” backing plate for this? Thank you

Should you change the grease soon as I get it on the shinemate ex620?
Looks like Max shine or Krauss - I think it's all made in the same factory in China )
