Thanks for a great detailed video. It would be great to see how you join them together. Those freezer paper circles can be use again until the heat won’t hold. Accuquilt also has circle cutters too.
I actually bought a die cutter, one of those commercial ones! I'll go back and look at the possibility of remaking this video. I do that with some of my older ones. Thanks for watching! 💜

omg have lots of felt wool , I love these type of crafts , I just did a show and tell vid and showed a hexagon quilt made with all my kids and hubbys old flannel shirts , you are right they are called pennys , tfs !!
I just wanted to let you know my husband gave me this great tool for cutting circles. It's from Olfay. They can be found in any fabric store and very inexpensive. It cuts a perfect circle from small to large. Better than hand cut. All the circle are all even in size. I just love it, save my hand from hand cutting all the circles.

Not sure if someone else commented with this same comment, but if you draw your circles on the back side of the freezer paper, the side of the paper that is not shiny, before you iron it onto the fabric. Then iron the paper on the unshiny side of the paper to your fabric, you will get a much better pattern to use, than if you mark on your fabric. Once you cut the pieces apart, peel the paper off your fabric, you can reuse the paper many times. If you iron on the fabric like you did, you might get your iron on the shiny paper, and that would not be good for the iron. You would then have to clean your iron. Just thought this would be helpful to those who have never used freezer paper before.

This looks very similar to a "blanket sticth" which I just learned and had fun using on some tags recently. Lovin' the paper clip idea as well!! Great video my dear sister :) Much love to you

Hi Jeri, I am interested in learning how to make penny circles. Would you have some felted wool in hues of purples and royal blues (solids, prints, whatever you have that you are downsizing!) that you could add to Etsy for me? Since this is my first attempt, I don't need a very large quantity.
Penny circles make penny rugs because back in pioneer times when people made their own clothes, the women kept all of the scraps, no matter how small, they would use pennies and other coins as templates to trace and cut out the circles and when they had enough “penny circles” they would sew them together to make a rug, wall hanging, or table runner. I love them and want to make my own!
The circles can be whatever sizes you like. My largest one is approx 2 inches, then 1 1/2 inches and the smallest is about 3/4 inch. I sell already cut out circles and other shapes in my Etsy Shop if you're interested take a look. ShopAtTheLittleHouse. www.etsy.com/shop/shopAtTheLittleHouse

Hi Debbie, I just iron it to the freezer paper to make it easier to draw a circle on it, it stiffens/stabilizes the wool a bit, but no, you do not have to do that if you don't want to. Hi! Love your channel. The circles are actually called “ pennies”. I call mine “ coins” because I make several sizes...but traditionally, all sizes are called,pennies.

I bought a sizzix die called “Penny Rug Circles and Tongues” which eliminates all of the “freezer paper” process.....it’s great!

Actually they are called WOOL PENNIES. Typically they were cut from non useable wool clothing.
