Fallout 5 is so far away we'll probably be playing it during the actual Fallout. Even on Single player Battlefront has been glitchy, my favorite is when a large number of Stormtroopers clumped together, running into each other, and blow them up with a grenade. :)
Unless Fallout 5 and Elder Scrolls 6 is on a new gaming engine, I'm done with Bethesda and known liar, Todd Howard.

What's with every game coming out bad at lunch? It's getting annoying and Ridiculous.
"Every" game. 2023 was filled with a bunch of great games. Helldiver's had some server problems but they weren't expecting the numbers they got. This has been one of the first egregiously bad games released in this kind of state this year. Bad, unfinished, unoptimized games have been coming out since the Atari 2600.

I bought the Star Wars collection to share with my kids, and man, they are so excited. I love getting to share a little bit of my teen years with my family, and they love playing this with me. It's a huge game, and I had to delete something I've been playing to do this with my kids, but they argue over who gets to play the next splitscreen match with me. I haven't experienced the server issues because this was so much more for me and my kids to enjoy together. It was so worth the $35 to show my childhood to my children and have them actually enjoy it 😊
After this and the KOTOR rerelease fiasco, I believe Aspyr has been put on my list of "do not purchase from them" studios.

@@MisterAZS It’s not clear but it’s believed that KOTOR was taken from Aspyr for one of two possible (conflicting) reasons:
1) The vertical slice they showed was good but would’ve made for a very very expensive game.
2) It was incredibly bad.
Most people put stock on the latter one since directives were fired after Sony saw it. But I don’t think whatever happened is actually confirmed.

I don't think it was aspyre I think it was somebody else, because aspyre made tomb raider remaster which came out really good. I think somebody above them like Disney maybe pushed this wanting their star wars game out whether it was ready or not
I was about to buy this game but then after hearing the issues and glitches, yeah I’m going to wait until they fix this because I cannot play a broken game while trying to get the platinum.
I was also about to get it to 100% it but I can wait, especially with that price point. God Of War just released on GOG and its $25 while this is $35. Not at all worth it.

@@MrJulesR986That was NightDive. I think it's fair to say that a remaster in NightDive's hand will be good. They had some bad remasters at first but those were more in part thanks to the IP owners. All of NightDive's recent work has been great.

For me, I didn't even get around to getting any server errors. My friend and I both bought it because we thought we'd finally get to play galactic conquest against each other online. Without that option, it was a total waste for both of us, so we both put in for returns on xbox.

I can't believe - no one was expecting SWBF2 re-release. They made it in secret, then announced it thinking it was ready, now released it like this? 😂 there was no pressure at all lmao. A monumental game that deserved more.
9:45 tank controls make perfect sense with a fixed camera. Up is always forward. Resident evil lost its charm for me when it went without fixed cameras. I'll definitely check this out.
As someone who has hundreds of hours in classic Battlefront, I play for solo Galactic Conquest and couch co-op. Not really worried about a big multiplayer ordeal.

Umm, classic RE2 controls and camera...yes please!!! I still enjoy turning on ny PS1 and grinding those classics. I actually felt like something has been missing from some of those remasters and can't wait to try that RE mod out.
Definitely will be checking out the Fallout series, so many stories to explore from those vaults. And i hope the star wars battlefront thing gets sorted out, i would very much like to ho back and explore a high def version of that world
I mever played res until 5 and I seem to be one of few who loves the 5th title.. but playing the classics altho I plan to play them I've only had a short time with the re-release on ps4 and not a fan of the fixed cam. Totally a preference in fairness but I can't wait to run through all the remakes once I have time!

I've been playing single player on battlefront classic but haven't really had any issues. Had some minor graphical and the cantina music stopped/started a couple of times during a match but haven't tried the online yet..
Quick sound tip! Next time you gotta record remote like that, do a bass rolloff on your mic. It'll help with the room noise
That would increase the peak of the fundamental of jakes voice, making for a more quiet video because of normalization. Now a -3db low shelf up to the fundamental would work. Or, just use izotope rx, or waves clarity.

I was looking so forward to the classic collection.
I finally found a job after being laid off from Amazon over a month ago so I have to save money. I saw the trailer and the $30 tag and was so psyched. Me and my friends were gonna play together.
Then I saw the reviews and it shattered my heart. Hopefully in a month, they'll fix it, so I can play it but I'll just wait for now.
I want a Spider-Man 2000 remake. Add in Enter Electro, and maybe make a third storyline with Green Goblin.

Battlefront made me think about licensed games in general. I think the fundamental issue is publishers and licensors believing that making a licensed game means less work and/or fewer production costs when the exact opposite is true.
If you make an original game, it can literally look, sound and feel like anything you want. A minor change in one aspect won't make much of an impact on others. But if the license dictates certain visual, presentation or interaction details, you are effectively trying to shove a solid object into a new mold. This means MORE work. Planning, design, problem-solving -- all management tasks that I have little confidence in the average suit to pull off, especially with the aforementioned bias toward thinking that this will be easy.
And licensors aren't helping when they charge so much for the license that the publisher has little left in the coffers to pay for quality work. You get what you pay for.
I really hope for the people who lost their jobs in last few weeks will come together or separately (in groups) make games studios so we can get some new competition in the market and at the same time they will give tough competition some quadruple A gaming companies.
Dude, we can miss one Friday or have Falcon or Eric do it, take a freaking vacation!

I was super excited for the Battlefront release, and I've been disappointed. I never stopped playing the old games, still have them installed on my Xbox X.
I didn't have much in the way of connection issues, but I have had issues with hitboxes when fighting Republic Troopers. In the originals you could turn off the aim assist (the aim assist was mild at best) and now I can't seem to turn it off and it's a LOT worse than it used to be.
Also can't seem to get the game to save my setting changes.

Honestly I think the Spidey game could work well as a coop with start and end but I really doubt it could work long term as a live service (which was the plan). I obviously do love me some swinging around NYC but can´t imagine loving it for whole year or even more.
Only glitch I've ran into on PS5 was that SW:BF 1 had a singular note when zooming in on the loading screens instead of the varying chimes, though I haven't played every map yet
The only annoyance I have with the both of them is the lack of inverting the flight controls, I'm still messing with them as it's quirky
Though I will not I'm a solo player and not likely going to play online much if at all
So offlin-wise it’s ok?

I've still yet to play on every map and I've heard there is a texture issue on Hoth in SW:BF2 but I haven't played on that map yet
But yeah I've been enjoying it heavily, especially with the new number counts for instant action as 64 AI is crazy fun

@@Lucky-2552Yeah I don’t get the negative hyperbole. Sure, the online component is experiencing significant issues, but the offline is just fine. Played splitscreen with my friend for 3 hours and the only issues we came across were (1) some vehicles spazzing out after being blown up (2) one screen freeze lasting 5 seconds (3) hoth texture bug on BF2 and (4) inverted being mandatory for air vehicles. We had an absolute blast and I’m frankly shocked by the outrage.
@alexd4566 exactly, there's worse games for twice the price, and I'd give a pass for the people who remade it cause I bet you they didn't fully thing just HOW BIG this game was going to be and then they sent it live not knowing the absolute dumpsterfire their servers were going to be with how it was set up

I had absolutely no problem launching the game right at release, and gaming all offline modes on PS5. Most all nostalgic memories from playing the game were those offline modes like instant action and galactic conquest. No idea why this is such a huge uproar. They’re obviously going to adjust to the demand (but I’ll give you that they should have from the start or at least before release).

I have the same experience on ps5. Plenty of servers day off reales been playing hero assault online with little issue. Offline is just like the simulations

i picked up the og one's spent an hour geting some cool mods off mod DB and have been having a blast got ppl online in those now too i haven't touched the collection with a barge pole
I only had 1 issue with the Battlefront collection and that was it blue screened when i first started playing it. Since release and havnt had an issue since. Im on PS4

Currently playing on Xbox and setting aside the glitches not caused by the servers there is little to complain about aside from uneven multiplayer matches. But the majority of problems come from the servers not be able to handle what is going on and is a crap shot for how many if any glitches you will get, anywhere from disconnections, that can crash the game, to delayed hit counters that can cause you to be killed by the walking dead.
I wish Larian would do the KOTR remake and sequel...
I've had only a few minor issues since release on Switch.

Just play the og releases on steam. There’s still modded servers last time I checked (loads of legends stuff in the mods. Super awesome)

I jumped into the battlefront classic game. I played all single player campaign style stuff and galactic conquest, mainly all on battlefront 2. I had little to no issues. Probably to my own fault, playing the campaign, I got stuck getting slaughtered in the Jedi library mission. Might try multiplayer after work.

I'm excited for more story driven single player games. We've had so many remakes but not a lot of new good ideas. Multi-player, pay as you play, seems to be all the hype now.
I’m playing on ps5 5+ hrs in, I’ve noticed a few things. I played online night of release and there were 8+ servers available so is it I think that may be a PC only issue I’ve also been playing hero assault online with no real issues other than my game kicking me at the end of the match every now and then but I can go load back in within a minute or two. I wouldn’t say that is unplayable or that you would even need a refund. I’m having a good time with it.
Funny how Helldivers 2 wasn't review-bombed for having the exact same issues. Oh, wait.... internet loves it's double standards.
I planned on buying 4 copies of this for me and my boys. Went to pre purchase because it was $7 off. But now I'm glad I didnt. Hopefully they'll fix it and I can buy soon
Battlefront Collection: No issues on ROG Ally and PC. I did not play online, but gameplay experience was fine. Aim sensitivity was different at default on the ttwo games which I thought was weird. It is around 25GB to download, but the storage space required after it is installed is 63GB.
What does that saber/aspyr mean for Tomb Raider? They just released the remastered collection
