@@kuroinokitsune Yeah, I do know pressure gets to you but... come on! A little common sense at times would go a long way. I like how the judges always comment they would make much simpler dishes in the time aloted. Out of the desire to beat the other contestants and impress the judges, the cooks usually bit a lot more than they can chew.

Seeing Hellmann's as "Best Foods" has activated every bone in my body and they are all in attack mode.
I love it when people discover the East/West mayonnaise divide. The formula is nearly the same, they're made in the same factories, they had parallel ad campaigns in the 80s and 90s, but they're two different brand names. They used to be two different companies, but when they got bought out their brands were so entrenched in their respective regions that they decided to keep the names.
I've seen so many comments saying this! I'm from the west coast and I honestly couldn't imagine the bottle saying Hellmann's.

It's weird cause I'm west Coast Canada and we have it as Hellman's.. It must be a West Coast US thing but it's kinda weird seeing those colours and not seeing hellman's hahah
Hellman's made it to Canada before the merger between Hellman's and Best Foods, so they preserved the brand names for whatever regions they were already established in.
Occasionally mentioned on bigger cooking shows like America's Test Kitchen.
Also the true cause of the feud between Tupac & Biggie.

It's actually the other way around, I think. Most places it's Hellman's and it's only west of the Rockies in the US that it's called Best Foods.
It's not everywhere i live in czech republic (its in Europe) and here it's also called hellman's
