150k for 15 years experience is quite low.
Boston is super expensive so you need like 50-60K just to be on the bottom there. Anybody making 19 an hour lives with like 3 roommates. Landlords are killing the city.
I as a landlord I am not killing my home city here in Boston. The problem is higher property taxes are what's killing homeowners and landlords. The cost to maintain one or more units has skyrocketed and if you have a mortgage and have to pay the water bill, etc it all adds up. Mind you we as a city still have a housing shortage in Boston and Massachusetts as whole needs more housing built. The NIMBY folks are also the problem.
@@jacquelynharper3659 Both are the problem. I am an economist. It's easy to pass the buck on NIMBYS but landlords still set the prices at the end of the day. Both are vampires destroying the soul of American cities and towns everywhere.
It's one of the most expensive cities in the world lol. Has nothing to do with landlords, it's supply/demand, inflation, and government that jacked up taxes etc, plus condo fees

@IELIS Goverment doesn't set your prices. Real estate is a private business. If government was the issue then homes and apartments always would have been overpriced but that only happened within the past 10 and specifically the past 5 or so years. Again I'm an expert in this field buddy I know what I'm talking about.

This means she is probably doing the videography, video editing, sound, set-up. color correction, posting and thumb nails. She must have her hands full. To help her I would suggest my camera....Canon EOS Rebel T5i DSLR Camera with 18-55mm Lens. What would you suggest?
2 bedroom rent is about $35k per year plus utilities, thats outside of Boston 35-40 min. In Boston area youll be paying $50-60k just for rent
My parents used to live in R.I. Which is about 1hr. from Boston. We renovated the three bedroom house with massive property when my dad passed.We sold it, but I guess renting would have been an option.😎

She make 19usd to sell jewelry and I make 28$cad as steel structural 3d modeler. We literally build building like the Boston Arts Academy in front of the Fenway Park. We have many many many responsibilities and it’s very very complex.
When people have big range gaps, for example $100-150k, you know they don't know what they actually make. It's understandable if you don't know down the the dollar what you make if you have a variable income. But even still, if you have a $50k gap in what you think you make it means you are just guessing.

Wrong. He outright said he did sales. It's the most fluctuating heavy market there is. Some years you would be lucky to hit 90k, others you could make many times that doing far less than the year you killed yourself to make 90k. You clearly don't understand business even on a basic level.
I was just thinking they are either bullshitting or just taking their best month and extrapolating for a year, even though that would be completely unrealistic. I can understand not wanting to share your salary but if you do, just give an honest answer for how you did the last year. But giving a 50-100% range is completely worthless.

We have a housing shortage in the city as well as Massachusetts the state as a whole. The other issue with so many transplants moving here and making 6 figures and above of course housing costs will continue to soar.
@@jacquelynharper3659 You cannot build new units endlessly. Renting/owning of more than a couple of units should be forbidden. People can invest elsewhere - compared to real estate, stocks are almost infinate.
@vojtechkaiser2525 you are incorrect see the zoning laws need to change and Bostons economy has changed im the last 12 years. If we don't build more than it will remain expensive l. Do I believe we can prevent more of the population from increasing. However it's not just Boston or other major metro that are expensive the Southeast and Southwest are getting crowded and expensive too.
