Another thing, wear an N95 when cutting concrete, that silica dust is NO JOKE.
We have to hook the hose up for dust control, and, of course, the N95.
Pretty rough on bare skin as well.
Silicosis is not good for ya
masks are not safety equipment they are political statements and ol cleeter don't believe in em

@JedStrogan i don't think you realize the magnitude of his income from UA-cam....thats not even considering his income from the pay per view track events.
Dude you need to put water when you're cutting . There's a hose attachment on that machine. Some agencies get really upset if not done right. That concrete dust will mess up your lungs You also need a respirator. Otherwise great fun seeing the Work take place!
Yeah I was thinking the same thing either use water to make it easier or atleast wear respirator ppe for the silica
Agree.....
It's amazing how people treat their lungs (not on purpose). I cringe when I see those abandon explorer videos. People going into old building/mines/etc. to look around.
No masks/respirators. Their lungs are the filters for asbestos, metal dust, harmful chemicals, molds, etc.............
i read your comment before i hit the 10:00 mark...
even with a warning, my lungs gave a little sputter.
i remember being to lazy to hook up almost the same model.

Silicosis is as bad as asbestosis
Even the worst ground workers I've seen use a hose lol
You know, there is a reason concrete saws are wet. That silica dust from cutting concrete is horrible for your lungs.
I guess all the burnt rubber he's sucked in has given him a protective coating. Haha

Yikes, crystalline silica all in them lungs smh.
I don’t want to be that guy but you need to have a hose connected to the saw or a pump sprayer. That dust y’all were breathing in is very deadly it’s called silica
Or at least proper masks, you only get one set of lungs.
I was going to say the same thing, silicosis is not a fun time

Breathing that stuff in is the cause of Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis (yes that is a real thing)

When cutting concrete, it's best to use water on the blade. Cuts down on the dust and makes the blade last WAY longer. We always just use a little 2 gallon sprayer with water and it lasts for a while.

I appreciate that Garret is willing to get in there with the blue collar guys and get dirty. I’ve never had a property owner that wants to help us, and is able to actually do a decent job.
love how cleeter always gets pumped up when work is being done around the track.
They could’ve spent an extra couple of minutes tacking the joints properly. And what was he spraying all over the tailgate? Diesel? The roller guy also blows at overlapping. And what’s the sense of using a paver and screeding everything precisely if your going to lute a ton of extra material over the lift and roll it in all Willy-nilly. C’mon boys...
This is probably the most helpful comment I’ve read.
Average work at best first transverse join was a joke loose stone should have been removed, roller too far behind the paver
I’m glad someone noticed this. This was a terrible paving job. They didn’t have an actual tack truck with sprayers, just the cheap “tack wagon” Yeah it was diesel he was spraying on the tailgate to prevent the asphalt from sticking to the tailgate I guess? Never seen someone use it this way on ANY job I’ve done. Seen the truck drivers spray it in their beds though throughout the day to prevent it from caking up. And they couldn’t even hire a milling machine to cut and slope the track properly? They used a shitty cheap bobcat tool which cuts uneven and is ONLY meant for small areas the machine can’t reach (around manholes, light poles, etc)
Well, the job they did is still better than the mfs responsible for patching up my local roads.
