I've seen a few people suggest painting some of the concrete with stripes like they do at tracks. I think that is a cool idea.

Tbh I think having removable markers is the way to go, as you can change the lines whenever.

I’m always blown away by the scale of the production. Between lzmfg and drift hq. Adam employs soo many people and holds an insane schedule while wearing many hats and he still finds time to create and have fun and innovate while overseeing his many ventures and endeavors. Well done chap

Your improvements are spectacular. It really seems like just a few months ago you were waiting 30 minutes in line to drift for 20 seconds in the 240 at the small track you put out countless videos at. All of that to get here

One of my favorite parts of drifting is that the cars have license plates on them. Just something about race cars on track with plates. Remind me of when you see pictures of NASCAR races from the 1950s and have the cars for registered cuz they had the drive them to the tracks. I just find that really cool.

3-4' concrete red/white stripe wall in front the ac. Much cheaper, plus extra protection on the building which would be my main concern in that section. Also have a safe spot for a 🎥. You livin the dream tho man

i would say that backie entry is easy and hard at the same time. you have many points of reference to when throw the car around, but narrow short and the building repair if you crash is a consideration

Possibly a good idea just to get some armco barriers installed next to the units where you’ll be entering and exiting with close proximity, could save a few bucks further down the line for sure

@09:50 you should paint solid lines around compound for your track layout, then use dotted lines for optional track confirmations. that way all you ned are cones along with the lines for track days

The evolution from backyard bmx to backyard race track is sick
in dirt rallies, i drift some to scrub speed and the car naturally drifts because of high acceleration in low traction conditions but generally speaking, drifting slows me down. i try to keep all 4 hooked up for maximum acceleration and maximum braking

Lz, I would recommend going around your compound track and cutting back all those tree's ten feet from the edge of the track. Having friends drift there with you, could get scary having caged car's and your friends head's, even with a helmet on. Just a thought..
If you get a concrete grinder out there to round off the transition between the old and new concrete (about a 2 ft wide strip) it won't be such an abrupt, jarring drop out and it will save your exhaust while still maintaining the wheel lift effect you want.

You need to add concrete where that little patch of grass is at 10:28. Would allow you to get much wider and seems like it would flow at lot better.
