- It's Not As Bad As It Looks... BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - Ninjakiwi's latest official boss is the 2nd one ever on the half cash game mode... together with elite mode sounds menacing, but here was my solution to beat it as cheaply as possible.

Its funny because this for me was the hardest boss i'd ever done. Actually spent a good 3 hours just to beat the elitr version and i wasnt even doing ranked or anything. Surprised me how little you farmed because i probably went too far and filled the map with BRFs
About the Glue Storm thing... I don't think it's a bug. Dreadbloon is immune to damage from each category, but Glue Storm doesn't deal damage. It applies an effect (The glue) that makes other towers deal extra damage. As for why Embrittlement and Super Brittle don't work, I think that's because their effect is applied at the same time as them dealing damage, which Dreadbloon is immune to. So it negates everything in that one hit. That's my assumption at least.

that's exactly how it works, as the same applies for Cripple Moab as well. This is a fairly common thing we knew but you never see it on anything but Dreadbloon
That's what's happening.
There's actually a simple way to make brittle have effect by applying the Jar of Pickles, so brittle deals enough damage to affect the boss
Glue storm does deal damage if you go for 250 crosspath
@@codenamebogdan8050 it won't deal the damage, but it'll give the bonus, as the effect is applied without damage

At 10:40, when ISAB alch buffs the temple to have enough range to affect the poplust druid, you can see they just barely mistime buying the upgrade; the cash decreases from about 34100 to about 31600

I was able to get my first ever elite top placement on this with a tad over 440,000, with all my farming being done with a special poperations plus two bloon traps under a monkey town, and then using a cripple moab and perma brew which allowed me to forgo the temple and avatar of wrath. The chinook ability allowed me to move towers after I built them in discount range and the marine plus tack zone swept tier two

Skipping the early rounds is so nice. They play out the same almost every time in boss runs.
The mega mine is underrated, instant rock bloon destroyer for Tiers 2-3.
I almost never get temples as support but every time I do, I get why people get them... but then I don't get them the following boss events 😂
Interestingly doing the math, the sun temple ONLY payed for itself, not even the 50k sacs, on the end of round 120. I assume the buffs are worth tthat though

btw crosspathing glue strike with 041 would give basically full uptime on the debuff and let you save 15k on glue storm
didn't know strike was that efficient. though doesn't glue storm give +2 damage while glue strike only gives +1?
@@wtgkanp2431 no they both give +2, glue storm just keeps raining it multiple times so that new bloons spawning get glued instantly and ceramics inside moabs get glued as soon as the moab breaks, however this has no effect on the damage to the boss itself

@@wtgkanp2431 yea storm is only used for new spawns and for bloons with insides, not a single boss staying on screen the entire time and not having insides, and the glue isn't used to deal damage itself because it has no single target

This was my second ever boss event, and while I did use a guide, it was hella fun. I even did ranked on normal and got top 10% thanks to a different guide.

I feel like after buffing Benjamin NK would have had boss weeks that could show him off. But instead so far we've gotten a week where you can't even use him and a week on a beginner map where he leveled slowly.

What's weird was that when I was using sun avatar, it was doing 0 damage to Dreadbloon and the immunity was for primary. Not sure if my game was bugged or what.

A combination of Plasma Fanclub and max buffed Sun Avatar JUST BARELY got me past teir 5, but on round 138 so it was down to the wire
Glue strike will delead any lead bloon similar to how ninja can decamo bloon, im surprise you didnt know this XD
the reason glue strike works when the others dont is glue strike doesnt 'deal damage' to apply the debuff, but embrittlement does need to do its damage to apply the debuff. dread isnt immune to debuffs just to the attack

Why Embrittlement or Cripple Moab don't work but Glue Strike does, is due to the former two only putting their effects on IF damage has been dealt, while with Glue Strike, it's effect is applied without checking if it dealt damage to grant the effect.
TL;DR: It's not a bug, it's intended

What the heck was that effect at 5:53 ? Surely it’s not a map affect specifically for resort? And it’s not like Isab dropped any powers or abilities to cause that.
How are these people beating normal dreadbloon with just 66k? Would love a video showing the normal ranked boss or an explanation of what the strategy was, I couldn’t even beat it with 95k cash allowed.

13:17 shouldn't 402 give more uptime cus it throws potions faster?
Towers actually have an internal alch buff cooldown, so even if the alch can technically throw another buff, it needs to wait till it is allowed to. 420, as far as I understand, increases the number of shots until the alch buff wears out, thus being better when only buffing one (or maybe two?) towers
I think the reason people complain as soon as they see half cash is because they can see it by just clicking play without clicking rules, so they don't see how much the boss health is nerfed every time there is half cash and how little farming and defense they need anyway to defend, making it no more difficult
