‘Angel Baby’ alone is significant enough of that era to place this beautiful woman firmly in the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame, as she should be. It was one of John Lennon’s favourite songs. 🎶🙏🏼🎶
He recorded it.
@@keithorr6878 Yes, he did. Great cover!

I was there with Rosie that night. Dee Dee Warwick was on the show 2.
Spookey
She was born just 7 years before me. I grew up with doo wop too. She is such a beautiful woman who had love and cheer in her heart when she sang for the people. Wish we had more people like her in the world. Angel Baby is my favorite. I can play and listen to it all day long. Such a beautiful poem she wrote at 14 and made a record of it at just 15.
Wow..... this is heartbreaking to me, finding out that she passed away 3 years after the fact.
What a good-looking woman Rosie was.😍❤
Obviously the singer AND writer of
T H E pre-eminent teenage slow-dance love song of the

Rosie waa such a great singer. I wish I could have seen her in concert.
She comes across as such a sweet personality and someone you could just sit down with, share conversation with. She seems so down-to-earth kind of person. RIP Rosie.
I wish there were live performances of her in her teens, the girls voice brings me to tears. R.I.P. to one of the most Beautiful souls this world has ever seen

i love her vouce when she talk..sounds very sweet and charming
Sad that she played at this place. with no band. She was much greater than this. She should have played good size concerts with her band! John Lennon said she was the best female rock singer when the Beatles got famous.
Rosie M. Hamlin: tu melodías quedaron para la eternidad. Tu existencia estuvo colmada de frases hechas canción;las cuales, hablan de AMOR. ¡ GRACIAS ,POR TU PASO EN ESTE MUNDO !😢
A beautiful woman with a great voice. "My Darling Forever" was another great recording. She also sang a sensational rendition of Angel Baby on a PBS Special. R.I.P. ✝️ Rosie

OMG! She has NO tattoos! When music was music!
Great Voice
This song was covered by........ everyone.
why is she singing over her own voice???
+Luis Gallardo All of the "oldies" acts in this series were performing on the steps of the bar, singing over their old records. Sometimes they could take just the music track off, but on some of the older records, it wasn't possible to completely remove the old voice.
Me imagino que en ese tiempo,no existian los backtraks o karaoke
This is sometimes referred to as a "track act;" when a singer performs over the existing recorded track because a band is not available due to budget or other reasons.
She died?
Them cassetes messed up
She was singing "live" over old recordings, standing on the steps of a popular gay bar in Hollywood.
Alan Eichler do you have anymore video footage of her?
No, sorry. I have other performances from Gregg's Blue Dot, but not anything else with Rosie.
Alan Eichler I'll check them out. Where you behind the camera btw?
No, a close friend did the actual camera work, but he gave me all of his tapes.
people need to stop listening to her album
