    So it looks like you will need a Hi-Z converter due to the XLR connection or does it optionally do that for you ?

      Hi Airmojo, no need for a converter, the mic has a high impedance output. Just plug any standard XLR to jack converter (2 being the hot pin) and you´ll be good to play with your amp! We decided on the XLR jack for reliability, connectivity and longevity reasons.
