Don't buy the HB52! The only thing that's good about it is the tone. . .and the responsiveness to cupping. . . .and the build quality . . .and the feel in your hands . . .and the price. Otherwise, it sucks. I thought I'd never replace my Bulletini, but I'm using the HB52 more and more. This mic cuts thru a mix really well. And it sucks.
Here's one of them. But I've seen him also using a Hall of Fame reverb and a delay pedal, along with an M amp emulator. Can't find that one right now ua-cam.com/video/s3TRQVRR7U8/v-deo.html
Hey man. I've entered but not recieved the confirmation email, 24hrs later. Is this normal? Have I actually entered? I would love to win this bad boy. Cheers!
I dont mean to be so offtopic but does any of you know of a way to log back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot the password. I would love any assistance you can give me
@Grey Camden thanks so much for your reply. I found the site on google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
One is the winner, but all of us win something:Information and another great Tomlin's video.Thank you Tomlin again...i'm in your school for 11 months now and Whoa! I feel good, I knew that I would, now I feel good, I knew that I would, now,So good, so good, I got bluues:))..(your words):Keep up the good work
Thank you for your recommendation. I just brought a stick microphone. What kind of amplifier would you recommend? I hope the two pieces would match. Here is my order for the mic: Shure SM57 Dynamic Instrument Mic - Professional Quality and Versatility for Live Performances and Recording - Contoured Frequency Response, Durable, Ideal for Drums, Percussion, Amplifiers (SM57-LC)
I enjoy reading and watching your videos. My question is why are Blues Licks mostly drawers instead of blows. am I just misunderstanding what I hear or see? Are there any Blues Licks that are mostly blows, rather than drawers? I guess you can tell what I'm actually saying is I have a hard time with draw notes on the harmonica
Hi Tomlin, Awesome video mate. I am looking for a Harmonica board with pedals (PEDAL BOARD) with 6 good pedals. Shud include chorus, octave, organ, sustain, reverb, etc etc. Can you give me a contact or arrange one for me? I will ask my friend to pay you from overseas and you cud do the needful. Thanks
Great review Tomlin. I bought one of these a few months ago and they are just killer . So easy to cup, built like a tank, volume knob is so smooth and rock solid. Brilliant bit of kit. Nicely done 👊
Hi, Tomlin, I was wondering I got that Microphone for Christmas and I plugged it into my Livewire cable and no sound came out so I thought the Prim guy may have tossed my package so I sent it back and they sent me a new Microphone which still won't work... I took it to Guitar Center to see what is wrong and they didn't have any cables so I tested it on one of their cables hooked up to one of the microphones on display and so the second Microphone I got back has some static so I have to send it back again Rrrrr can you tell me what cable you are using in the video for the Harp Blaster HB 52 because my cord won't work... I'm currently using a Hohner Blues Blaster and it works fine... Do I need a different cable??? any help will be great Thank You! for sharing this video.
Most informative harmonica instructional videos with a wide variety. Also the giveaways are great. Thganks Tom. Contact me if you come to Hawaii for a personal guide to show you the many beautiful places here. Aloha.
Tom, What are your recommendations these days on an end. I really don’t give much just play in my basement sometimes in the backyard and periodically with friends in their backyards but I would like something convenient to haul round with the sound of that fender baseman. Pie in the sky or possible?

Yeah man that seems to be a cool.mic .. play a bit of harp myself just me and my mate UA-cam STE MED if you wanna have a gander pal we are called SILO not done anything for a while f****g pandemic anyway stay cool ATE MED 👈😎👉
Thanks for a great harmonica-channel. I have one BIG wish about testing harmonicas, I will please ask you if you will test my newfound harmonica-babies. I have only heard one of all you great players mentioning my little gems, it was Liam Ward. The harmonicas are chinese Kongshen Mars M1. I needed a B-harp for half a year ago, and I decided to order a M1, just to try them out. And I was overwhelming surprised. The tone is loud, crispy and very clean. The mouthpiece is with round holes, and for the first time in my life, I can now draw hole 2 a whole step down on a C-harp. I was so happy with my new harp, that I ordered 8 more on black friday, half price of Marine Bands. My references are Marine Band, bought for 40 years ago, and I blowed it to pieces in 2 weeks. Not Hohners fault but mine, I played it like crazy, and noone had learned me how to play harmonica. For many years I played Lee Oscar, they are very solid and loud harmonicas. Later I bought a set of Suzuki Bluesmaster, they are also nice and loud harmonicas. I've also played a Seydel Blues Session, but my new Kongshen Mars M1 overshines everything I've played earlier. Have a nice weekend. Cheers Mogens
Sounds grouse. I use my normal vocal, and no I can't sing, into my little my little 40 watt practice amp with a distortion n reverb. I have looked at harp mics but they're expensive. Here in Aus this mic is nearly 300 Aussie dollars. Maybe one day. Now thats my winge for the day, thanks heaps Tomlin for yr great vids to inspire me to get better ... can't nail that vibrato .. again one day.
Hey Tomlin. How are you? Good I hope. I was wondering if you know the tabs for the song Seminole wind by John Anderson preferably in the key of C. If not, do you know how to convert sheet music to harmonica tabs? I have been looking all over the place for the harp tabs for that song, but have come up empty handed so far, GGrrr. Thank you very much, and thanks for the good learning videos.
Yes, more reviews please Tomlin. I find your reviews most helpful, in fact having seen your review of Sydel / Hohner / Suzuki, I have today ordered a Sydel Silver 1847 to replace my Lee Oscar.
I'm sure you have already given the harp away, but I just wanted to say a good job on the website. Looking forward to seeing more great stuff from you.
Thanks Tomlin for the demo. I'm not ready for a mic just yet. But when I'm ready, I'll give this one a look. I don't even understand what all those other things are. Good luck. Ronda
Very informative, mic sounds good. As a wannabe blues harp player it would add another dimension to my playing. As you purchased the mic yourself I guess you can give an honest assessment. Sometime I the near future when I progress I would certainly be looking at getting a mix but to win one would be a bonus.
Nice review Tomlin. I'd be interested in seeing your set-up discussed - apologies if you've done this, I haven't found the video. The modelling pedal looks interesting and as I usually go through a Blues Junior, it would be cool to find a way to get an adaptable sound with a DI into the board. I like to be able to use my volume control (and my force) to determine the level of drive. The HB62 looks interesting and worth a play with!
Great review Tomlin, this mic was on my radar and I’m glad you reviewed it...it was also nice to see your rig description....do you plug your pedalboard to a PA speaker or just to your computer for recording ?
Can you do a how-to/review type video where you show how to play amplified and what equipment is needed/recommended? I've only ever played without amplification and I don't know how to set it up!
Great video, definitely appreciate more like this. Particularly pleased that it was unsponsored. Any chance that you could A-B against a well known mic like he green bullet or an SM58? It'd make it much easier to hear the differences in the review mic.
I really like the size. I have a bulletini and it is too small for my hands. The Harp Blaster is a bit larger and and is a better fit for me. By the way I watched your video on Billy Boy Arnold's Wish You Would and I really appreciated the lesson. I didn't realize all those notes in the beginning were bends on the 2 draw. Thanks and keep up the good work helping all of us less talented folks to continue to improve our harp skills.
I live in India and I can't buy proper gears in here. Even normal Hohner harps cost way too much in here. I have been using easttop t008k but I can't do overblows on it. I don't know what to do.

Tomlin--thank you for this review! And, yes, please do more gear reviews!
Love your input all the time ! I have trouble cupping a mic because of small hands ! How does this compare to a Madcat or a Bulletini?
Hey - you can’t just plug it into an amp without specialized XLR to 1/4 inch Jack !!
Nice video :) my moms cousin plays the harmonica too so it exactly sounds like his harmonica.
Gear reviews are nice every now and then. But I'd also be interested in the rest of your setup - what you use and why and what settings...
Here's one of them. But I've seen him also using a Hall of Fame reverb and a delay pedal, along with an M amp emulator. Can't find that one right now

@Grey Camden thanks so much for your reply. I found the site on google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm.

Thanks for the good review! I was hoping you would talk about the volume control knob and what cables you would recommend. Cheers!!!

I would like to see a full explanation of your signal path. What equipment do you use and what does each component do. Thank you.
Thank you for your recommendation. I just brought a stick microphone. What kind of amplifier would you recommend? I hope the two pieces would match. Here is my order for the mic:

Hi like that it fits in your hand has a good tone
Does it have a long cord?
Hi. How to connect this mic to the amp ? Do I need any adapter like XLR to 1/4 Jack ? Tes ? What exactly ? Regards

How does this compare in size to the Hohner Blues Blaster (JT30) or what is the overall diameter of the grill end?
Most informative harmonica instructional videos with a wide variety. Also the giveaways are great. Thganks Tom. Contact me if you come to Hawaii for a personal guide to show you the many beautiful places here. Aloha.
Can I record my harmonica with my PC? Can I connect this microphone to my camcorder?

great review sir. been a while since I needed your advice but you always come thru!!
Nice review, like your singing, but player, amp, pedal and Mic wil define your tone and sound 👍🎶🎶
Sounds great, how does this stack up against the Bulletini VC?
I love the sound you can achieve. Wow. The warm gargle sound. having small hands I think it would be a better fit for small hands.
YES I ENJOY YOUR REVIEWS! Many THANX!
Surely a good amp is needed to get the classic sound
Is it bad to use an XLR to jack cable on this to get it into my amp and pedals?
How does harp blaster compare to the bulletini?
Good job. I appreciate it. Too bad I just bought a bullet
Do you prefer hb 52 or blows me away bulletini
Hi tom don’t you use the howlin wolf anymore.
YES please do demo videos
great review from you -thank you
I appreciate your gear reviews and your tutorials. Thanks!!
Fantastic!! Please do more reviews like that!!
Great video and inspiring presentation
A great gear showcase. I think videos demonstrating musical gear are a wonderful idea. Love from Poland :D

Definitely more gear reviews Tomlin! Loving the lockdown haircut btw.

Nice review, I just ordered one. 👍
What happened to your head!!😲
Thanks for the review - I'll keep this on file for when I hit that point.
Damn video man 👍👍👍👍👍😃
Guess I should spell check
Very good tomlin
Heck yes!! More!!
Love your stuff
Great video, thanks. I only wonder how does it compare to Bulletini in your opinion?
Btw your title says HB62 😁
Tomlin Leckie I’m about to get Lee Oskar so I was wondering if it’s worth it i’m a total beginner
Better learning on a decent harp you wont learn much on a cheap harp or a harp your grandad had in a drawer (out of tune ) for 40 years
Great help
I love mine.
Awesome tone!
Love the 🔊
I want
Best harmonica mic ever? Possibly. Best harmonica mic video review? DEFINITELY!!! :-)
Yes
AWESOME
Would definitely like more reviews like this.
Thanks for the review. Would like to hear a comparison of the green bullet to this mic thru the same audio chain.
Very good demo

Thanks Tomlin, how do you like this compared to your favorite Bulletini? I assume it's bigger, can you use the Bulletini one-handed>
Nicely produced video. Informative, except I’d like to know more about cables connecting the mic to my Fender 57 custom, or to my PA.

Hi Tomlin, thx for this review! What do you prefer for your play: Harp Blaster or Bulletini? Guess the answer is „It depends...“ 😏
Tomlin, Namaste 🙏
I am willing to learn harmonica. I never played. Will buy one. Then follow your lessons. I choose you as my teacher 🙏 Best wishes.
Hey Tomlin. How are you? Good I hope. I was wondering if you know the tabs for the song Seminole wind by John Anderson preferably in the key of C. thanks for this, my d9 just failed during a gig, had to switch to a voice mic, I'm old school, your review was spot on!
Yes, more reviews please Tomlin. I find your reviews most helpful, in fact having seen your review of Sydel / Hohner / Suzuki, I have today ordered a Sydel Silver 1847 to replace my Lee Oscar.
Hahahahha. Loved the memes.
Hey Tomlin ! Are the pedals you use guitar pedals ?
Thanks for this video

Not only was the review helpful but I got a bunch of live harmonica tips. Thank you, bro.
Worth wile review, thanks. Good to see another smaller production harp mic than the (go to) 520 DX.
Well done. Thanks for sharing your knowlege. And yes, please share more of this kind of videos. 👏👌😊
Very informative, mic sounds good. As a wannabe blues harp player it would add another dimension to my playing.

Pleased you bought it for a not sponsored...👍

I love your performance!
I love the harmonica's sounds, I've been practicing from 1 to 10 blows and draws, but I really wanna learn how to play it 😂🙃
Great review Tomlin, this mic was on my radar and I’m glad you reviewed it...it was also nice to see your rig description....do you plug your pedalboard to a PA speaker or just to your computer for recording ?
Well said Tomlin. Do more videos about equipment. They are interesting.
Great review. Maybe one day I'll be good enough that I actually want to be louder. :). Keep 'em coming.
Can you do a how-to/review type video where you show how to play amplified and what equipment is needed/recommended? I've only ever played without amplification and I don't know how to set it up!
Nice review! I just started playing harmonica in my band so I'm looking for a harpmic that I can use in my guitar amp.
Thank you for all the tips and tricks you share. it helps me tremendously. Who knows, I may need a microphone in the future as well. Regards Michael

Very nice review of the microphone. Consider a mother one to discuss the Fender amp? Keep up the great work- Doc
