    once I get to Illinois, in early March, I can demo the mic through a big amp, my Fender Bassman

    I think Hohner has a hit there... Great sounds, and best of all in a price range that is affordable... Competition is good.. Maybe with that price, some of the other harp mic producers will take notice.. Thanks so much for the video, Ronnie....

    As I watch the video, I'm not noticing much volume change via the nob, but I'm definitely hearing that dirt level adjustment. Are you using some type of attenuation between the mic and amp, or is the "volume" nob really more of a "distortion" control? If it's the latter, I may be in love! Also, how sturdy is it? I finally gave up on the Hohner Blues Blaster after two replacements (under warranty) due to XLR jacks that kept coming out of the housing. Speaking not as an official Hohner endorser, but simply as a player on a budget, is this thing worth full price?

    • @Harmonica123
      @Harmonica123  4 роки тому +1

      OmniphonProductions no i am plugged straight in. The vol knob works great, I just was simply adjusting it slightly. You can go as quiet as you’d like.

    • @OmniphonProductions
      @OmniphonProductions 4 роки тому

      @@Harmonica123 With that in mind, how much do significant volume adjustments affect tone? In particular, are low volumes relatively clean with high volumes noticeably dirtier, or is it pretty consistently in the sweet spot across the board?

    • @Harmonica123
      @Harmonica123  4 роки тому +1

      @@OmniphonProductions consistent across the board (which I like) with the exception super low to super high volume. at highest volume levels the speaker's character changes as it will with any mic.

    Ronnie that sounds great. Putting the Harp Blaster 52 on my wish list for Christmas. I also love the red woven cable. which one is that? I have looked for 1/4"TSR/XLR-F woven cables and can't find any. Thanks for your help.

    its very nice sound and very nice mic. I think, some basics for sound comes from the player.

      He has a video answering that somewhere on the channel. Just watched it yesterday. If I remember correctly he plays holes 1-3 and most bent notes puckered. Then 4-8 or so tongue blocked while playing as much as possible with TB for the sound.
