- This video explains how to fix the common problem with no display or dim odometer instrument cluster display on the 2006-2011 Ford Crown Victoria. This includes the Police Interceptors. This maybe the same issue on some other types of Ford vehicles including the Ford F 150 or the Ford Econoline vans.

Thank you, I fixed my instrument cluster.
Glad the video was helpful. Thank you for watching/subscribing.
Will give that one a try.
Do like the white add a bit of contrast. Looks good😮
Thank you for watching/subscribing.
White does look good and with the car being white it's a nice touch.
What make and temperature soldering iron are you using?
Hi, thank you watching/subscribing.
I was using a standard non adjustable-temp soldering iron. It did not take much to resolder the connection. So I did not feel the need to be precise with the make and temp of the soldering iron. Thanks again
Typically, from past experience they recommend a temperature of approximately 670 degrees. Just don't overheat surface mount components or they may crack.
Needed this
Thank you for watching/subscribing.
Good video thanks. A do both of the clusters analog and digital. Use the anti slush module in the cluster I had to get mine fixed mymilage was off they fixed it
Hi, thank you for watching/subscribing. Yes they both should have the slosh module, it's the only way to keep the gauge steady and not bouncing around.
Just did mine, odometer display good, but my spedometer reads below zero when stopped, I did put tape to indicate the original position, damn Ford should have put a notch in the needle, so now I will have to take off the plastic cover again and reseat the spedo needle.
Too bad your camera and footage is soo blurry.
Hi, thank you for watching/subscribing.
I'm not sure what you could not see due to the video appearing blurry, It's actually a fairly simple fix that is fairly- clearly seen in this video. But then again this is a 2007 Crown Victoria & the video was filmed over 13-14 years ago. I hope it's still helpful. Thanks again
