I just drove home from work in Pennsylvania in a white out snow storm. I was really afraid and I said my rosaries the whole way and it brought me much comfort and needless to say I made it home safely. Thank you Jesus and Mary for being with me.
My car rosary has inspired many a Hail Mary while I've been waiting for grocery pick up etc. I don't know if it's superstitious, but I feel safe knowing it's always in my car.
While I always carried a beat up, old rosary of my grandmother's that was missing numerous beads and with mix matched links, I typically used my fingers. Then one day, I was reading Mary's, Queen of Peace messages in Medjugorje, and she made 2 corrections while praying the rosary. She said not to use our fingers and wanted us to hold our rosaries while we prayed. The other was to only say the Fatima prayer after the decades and not in the introductory segment of the Our Father and 3 Hail Mary's. I learned why when I realized how much deeper I prayed when forced to sit and use the beads vs possibly praying during some task.

When I wear a rosary round my neck its so I know where I can find it quickly esp in church. But there is a risk that the crucifix can get caught in your clothes underneath which has happened to me I often chose a certain colour and kind of rosary so I can wear it round my neck unobtrusively to be honest.
