I am an ex Mormon who left the church 18 months ago. I have been attending Protestant churches for all that time and struuuugggling to connect with the doctrine and worship style. Been researching the Catholic faith over the past few weeks and will attend mass tomorrow. It makes so much more sense to me than all the Protestant religious dogma. I feel like this is truth.
Wow. Hope you find your place. I love Protestant worship. And teachings are always great and if you’re filled with Holy Spirit you will keep growing. I go to Catholic services but I find there’s so much more worship of Mary than Jesus. I go away disappointed.
@@vanessamay3689 Liar! There's no such thing as '"there’s so much more worship of Mary than Jesus in Catholic services". Catholic services are 100% JESUS!
Yep! That’s why I remained a Catholic Christian. One thing I love the Church that is established by our Lord Jesus Christ is I feel I have freedom!!! Praise God!!! ✝️❤️🕊
Everyone has a label for everything. The Apostles used the Didache to teach the Gospel during the first century, everything was scribed and took a year to write a single Bible. The Didache is a 2 page document and everyone should read, if for nothing else, the historical context. It was left out of the New Testament intentionally because of church structure.
@@vanessamay3689 For Those with Ears to Hear and Hearts to Understand There was a time when I thought I understood God, but I’ve come to realize that it wasn’t until I walked through the darkest valleys of my life that I truly began to grasp the depth of His presence. Facing a brain tumor, heart issues, and an aggressive cancer taught me what it means to feel the weight of mortality. But more than that, it opened my eyes to something far greater: the reality of God’s omnipresent hand in every moment, every breath, and every step. I used to think of God as distant, intervening only in the big moments or in the pages of the Bible. But now I understand that He is always here, always present, always working in ways we often miss. His omnipresence isn’t just a concept; it’s a reality, one that has carried me through trials I never thought I could endure. Looking back, I can see God’s hand in every step of my journey. Even when I strayed, even when I ignored Him, He was there. From surviving a brain tumor to being brought back from near death, and then through a cancer diagnosis with odds stacked against me, He never left my side. He didn’t shout; He whispered. But it took me years to recognize His voice. “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10). Too many people miss this. They look for God in the extraordinary but forget to find Him in the quiet moments. He’s there in the silence, in the mundane, in the struggles, waiting for us to listen. God’s omnipresence means He is everywhere, always, watching, guiding, comforting. When I first began to understand this, it overwhelmed me. How could He care so deeply for each of us, knowing every thought, every fear, every hope? Yet He does. And He doesn’t just see us in church or in prayer. He is with us in the everyday moments, in the struggles, and even in our rebellion. Where can I go from Your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your presence? If I go up to the heavens, You are there; if I make my bed in the depths, You are there” (Psalm 139:7-8). You don’t have to wait for a crisis. I wish I could tell you that I came to understand all of this on my own. But the truth is, it took a brain tumor, a near-death experience, years of health challenges, and a rare and aggressive cancer diagnosis for me to fully open my eyes. I don’t want you to wait for a crisis to realize how deeply God is involved in your life. He’s here now, whether you see it or not. “The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth” (Psalm 145:18). I know some of you may doubt, and I understand that. I was baptized as a teen, but for years I struggled, strayed, and ignored the signs God placed in my life. Even after a near-death experience where I saw myself from above, it still took years for me to fully surrender to His will. But God is patient. He waits for us, even when we don’t deserve it. He gives us chance after chance to turn to Him. And He promises that if we seek Him, we will find Him. “You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13). Now, I wake up every day knowing that life is a gift. I understand that God’s omnipresence means that He is not only watching over us but actively working through us. He’s in every sunrise, every moment of laughter, every challenge, and every tear. And He has a purpose for each of us, a purpose we don’t have to wait for a crisis to discover. Count every day as a gift. Each day is an opportunity to grow closer to Him, to love others, and to fulfill the purpose He’s given you. “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom” (Psalm 90:12). Open Your Eyes and Ears: God is constantly speaking to you through His Word, through prayer, and through the world around you. Don’t let the noise of life drown out His voice. “Whoever has ears, let them hear” (Matthew 11:15). To my children, my brothers, sisters, and anyone reading this: don’t let the world’s distractions blind you to the truth of God’s presence. Don’t wait for a crisis to start seeking Him. Open your hearts now. Pray, even if it feels strange. Look for Him in the small, quiet moments. Because the God who is everywhere is also right here, waiting for you. “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with Me” (Revelation 3:20). Final Thoughts I don’t have all the answers, but I know this: God is real. He is present. And He loves each of us more than we can imagine. My life is living proof of His grace and purpose, and I pray every day that you will come to know Him the way I have. You don’t have to wait for a miracle or a tragedy to feel His presence. You only have to listen, to seek, and to trust. And when you do, you’ll find that He has been with you all along. With love and hope, A Servant of the Most High
@@renaewalker7071 people are missing so much with their labels and man made products, the Gospel is so simple and no where does it mention the word religion. I don’t have any issues with religion as long as they aren’t enriching themselves from others which happens all too often. Jesus Christ was a Rabbi, a teacher and didn’t minister under a roof. 🙏
I have a similar conversion story. I was Protestant for over 50 years. When I was in the hospital I asked Jesus for help and I gave my life to him. I feel he called me to the Traditional Catholic. Church. May God continue to bless you my brother in Christ 🙏😊
I asked a Protestant one day, who was trying to “sell” me Jesus: “What are the Protestants protesting against”? He was dumbfounded and really couldn’t answer. I’m a cradle Catholic, but along the road, I got a boot in the behind, telling me to take a bus stop at a church and it is then, after talking to a priest and praying, that I realized WHY I was a Catholic. This led me to attend church more regularly, and get involved in my parish. I am now into a church lay ministry (EMHC), and Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus
I'm a cradle Catholic from the Philippines. From Prep to University I studied in a Catholic school. I listen to this podcast because I'm always inspired to learn more of my faith and not just take it for granted. I'm amazed at the zeal and fire of the converts. To all the converts, welcome to the family! To all those who plan to convert to Catholicism, we Catholics welcome you all with open arms and hearts. All Glory to God! 🙌❤
@@tsinav8 I think part of new converts zeal is because they learn more about the church and it’s history than people who grew up in the church do these days. When I grew up in the church and took catechism we had Baltimore #1 and then #2 as our textbooks. We as children learned about the history of the early church to modern times. My two sons also raised in the church, attended Catholic schools weren’t taught anything that I learned. Every time I tell them something about why we do certain things or the significance of things, like why we genuflect at entering the church, I’m stunned that they weren’t taught that in their catechism classes. I’m feel that the church after 1963 stopped teaching catechism as it did leaving cradle Catholics uninformed and unable to defend our faith. I still remember my teacher telling us at our first catechism class that it is hard to be Catholic like it’s hard to be a saint and we will be scorned and defamed and some will even die because of our Catholic Faith. People today talk and defend the rights of so many other religions and persuasions but it’s perfectly normal and accepted to slander and lie about the Catholic Church. Today even too many clergy aren’t ardent defenders of the church and have gone WOKE. When I was a child our priest visited us twice a year. He made the rounds to all the people of the parish. He came to have tea, bless whatever we wanted blessed, talk to the family. He spent maybe 30 minutes but that was a huge feat. It made us think of the church as a family not an institution. I was baptized in the same church as my mother in rural Manitoba and where she is buried. My grandparents are buried there too. All my cousins were baptized at that church by that same Belgian priest who was the priest there for at least 50 years. We lived in Winnipeg and from 1964 till 1976 I had the same priest at the same parish till the church burned down. I was confirmed in that church and I was married in that church. It was The Immaculate Conception Church. Recently a priest on a podcast said he was surprised that most Catholics now think that the birth of Jesus is the Immaculate Conception. I was stunned so to see if my sons who were raised in the church and attended Catholic schools didn’t know that the Holy Mother is the Immaculate Conception and not Jesus and certainly didn’t know why. I knew that at 4 or 5 years old because my mother told me so and why. My mother only had a grade 3 education and couldn’t get to school because it was too far to walk to the school in rural Manitoba but yet her mother taught her the stories of the bible, and catechism, yet in modern times the Catholic Church isn’t teaching this to my sons and other children. While we have less clergy now for several reasons, I have no doubt one of the reasons is that the clergy has neglected their duties of teaching and fertilizing the children of cradle Catholics. My generation will die out in 20 years, who will teach our faith once we are gone? I live in Richmond BC now. I attend Holy Canadian Catholic Martyrs located not even a block from me. It is a Chinese church but has masses on Sunday 2xs a day but the priest has never visited my house even though it is less than a block from the church. Clergy have to set examples and keep the flock healthy and informed by visiting and calling the people of the parish like the priests did when I was a child. I lived in Manitoba, when Father Fitzgerald came to visit us in the winter it was often 30 below zero and more than once he had to get a boost from my dad to get his old car started after visiting us, now priest don’t walk down the street to visit parishioners. If the clergy has failed they have failed by leading by example in showing us how precious we are to the church. Now a days I’d be so bold to say that those of us who remain passionate Catholics do so because of our clergy of the old days and in spite of the clergy who only see us leaving mass or while distributing communion or hearing confessions. The shepherds tend the flocks where the sheep are not only in the stable. Clergy need to follow the footsteps of our Lord and go to the people like past priest did, like Pope John Paul II did and my childhood priests did and not replicate the high priests of the Jews of Jesus’s time. Start coming to us again. I don’t think for a moment that any of the atrocities that CBC lied about happened, I do believe that the clergy has neglected us and as a result we have become more vulnerable to falling out of love with our Faith.
@@tsinav8 I’m grew up in Winnipeg. Winnipeg at one point had one of the largest population of Filipinos living outside of the Philippines. I’ve often said were it not for the Filipinos living in Canada the Catholic Church wouldn’t exist any longer in Canada. I now live in Richmond BC and attend Holy Martyrs Catholic Church down the street from my house and we are one of the few non Asian members there. That entire parish is populated by Filipino and Chinese and a few South Asian Indians. My sons and I are likely the only Metis parishioners at a Catholic Church than commemorates the early martyrs in North America that introduced the Faith to my Huron and Algonquin ancestors, that’s sad.
This was SO good and I could relate to so many aspects of Kenny’s story. However, I was the Mormon girl attempting to convert my boyfriend (eventually husband) into the LDS church. I eventually made my way through evangelical Protestantism to Holy Mother Church - praise God!!
For a poorly catechized cradle Catholic as myself, this and all your videos are SO enlightening! I love following your channel, I stay up late at night just listening to it, I have learned so much about my faith! I am forever grateful I was born already into the Catholic faith because I don't think I could've gone through a journey like the one you guys endured. I was already home! I'm listening to the Bible in a year with Fr Mike Schmitz, and soon I will start the Catechism in a year. I rejoice hearing converts stories!
Thank You for Your share. I would add this : As Catholic Christians, today, more than ever, we have to know what we believe. Yes, indeed, we have to re-discover and learn the GOSPEL and the person of JESUS-CHRIST ! We have to CLEAN our FAITH from all useless and false things that the world introduced in our minds! Let's be focus on FAITH, HOPE and CHARITY/LOVE, The Holy Mass, daily prayer and the GOSPEL and the teachings of the HOLY CHURCH - God bless You and Yours !
I feel that the way the church fails us poor continued education after confirmation.thank God for the catholic evangelization on tge internet. It has brought back/renewed many.
Kenny’s channel is such a treasure trove for people to understand the Biblical basis for all things Catholic. May God use his work to open the eyes and soften the hearts of anti-Catholic Protestants. 🙏
What about being a Christian. I know several Catholics who have never made Jesus their Savior. They are drunkards and profane people. But they take the Eucharist. What hypocrisy!
Awsome. I can so relate. Started the Catholic process. Not so easy for an old protestant minister. God led me here but so much to learn. Thanks for your words, they have blessed me.
I’ve been Catholic since I was born, I’m just speechless of what I heard, it is amazing how God finds the way to bring us back home 🙏🏻❤️ it was a pleasure to hear all your testimony, thank you!!!
!!❤!!❤ Many cradle Catholics of your (and my) age had VERY POOR catechesis. Our formation was lacking greatly, as a result, many cradle Catholics do not fully understand our own faith. I was raised Irish-American Catholic and ended in & out of the church many times. Finally I went back through RCIA (even though I had the sacraments. Since then I have been able to truly understand my faith.
The internet has made it easy to learn the teachings of the Catholic Church. You just have to make sure that those who you choose to learn from are faithful to the Church. You can always follow-up with the Catecism. RCIA is helpful, though you need to understand that there isn't enough time to do a deep dive into all of these subjects. I wish you all the best. God bless you! 🙏
Same here was away from the faith for over 30 years, 4 years ago came back went through RCIA/OCIA. So proud of my catholic faith, never ever leaving again! Now helping my kids understand the faith so they never leave!
It’s interesting that some catholics and Orthodox cradle parishioners need to rediscover their own church in the same way the Protestants are now doing.
@ true, but it was the place to get absolute answers to the questions I had which kept me faith-bouncing for years. Now, I’ve made it through the ‘on fire for Christ’ as well as many ‘dark nights of faith’ and my trust in Jesus, my faith in our triune God has been unshakable. What a beautiful thing it is; to finally have a depth of love I’d never known. I have built a place in my heart for my Lord, may we never be apart again.
Life long one here in the UK, been in and out of my attendance of church over the years but my faith and love for the Father, Son and Holy Ghost has never gone away, when I hear people speak of their journey to the Catholic Church my heart fills with love but part of me wishes I have their fire/fervour .Having been blessed to be brought up in a Catholic family and married to a fellow Catholic for 47 years the foundation of my faith has followed me through this world, blessed with 3 children 1 of whom was born, touched down for a few minutes and passed back to the arms of Jesus, love and hope in the resurrection is a joy I hope will unite us all one day when our earthy work is over.
I grew up on England. Church of England. Married a young American.55 yrs ago. His Mum and Dad where so strict Protestant. Years later. I converted to the Catholic Church.
What a wonderful story. As a cradle Catholic I fell away and wandered in the spiritual desert for 40 years but homesick and I prayed for a conversion to the true faith. I started praying the rosary and asked Our Lady to help me find Jesus. And she took my hand and lead me to her son. And I am rejoicing for the first time in my life. I wish I had not lost 40 y ears of my life.
Focus on the present, my dear sister. You are home. Some of us apparently need to wander. Even St Augustine prayed “Lord, make me a saint, but not just yet!” We come to Him in our own time. Glory to God!
I was born and baptized Catholic but raised Assemblies of God since I was about 4 years old. I just celebrated my 2 year anniversary of my first communion in the Catholic Church! Pentecostalism left me with so many questions and gaps in my walk with Christ that Catholicism has filled. The preaching and teaching I had in the AG Church was sprinkled and sometimes outright smothered in anti-Catholicism. In my childhood I remember sneaking into my parents' room to look at the bottle of Holy Water my mom still had on her dresser, or the bust of Mary that stayed in the house for years after they left the Church. I looked with envy at pictures of my oldest brother's first communion and all the girls in the background in white dresses and veils. I wanted to listen to Mother Angelica, but my mother would say, "we aren't Catholic. Turn it to TBN." And then my siblings and I would instead watch Benny Hinn knock people over. I longed for Catholicism but it couldn't be an option. So, instead I looked for older churches that fit within the approved realm of American Evangelicalism. But nothing made sense and no one agreed on any sort of catechesis or exegesis, even within a single church! I finally had enough and said I was starting with the Bible. The Bible says Christ created a church. A single, unified church. 2000 years later I expected evolution of some kind, so I would settle on the church closest to that which Christ began. At the same time I mouthed off to a Catholic friend that they worship Mary. She gently explained the truth and I was blown away. What else was I lied to about the Catholic Church? Going down the many branches of denominations throughout history I saw it all lead back in time to Catholicism. Wait....could Catholicism be Christ's Church? 5.5 years of studying and prayer later, I made my first confession and Holy Communion. 6 years after that initial revelation I was confirmed. And not a day goes by that I am not so grateful to be Catholic.
Absolutely an incredible interview, I was captivated the entire time. Reformed Baptist Protestant making my way home. It’s not easy but man so much insight in this podcast.
I am a cradle Catholic. Watching and listening to these conversion stories strengthened and deepened my understanding of the Catholic culture. My Catholic Christian faith simply grows through your podcasts.
"Wills... Come to me." ~ Words spoken by the Holy Mother to me in a vision while I was participating in a Pastoral prayer meeting in the Protestant Church. That was back in early November. I've now renounced Protestant ministry and I'm trying to get started in RCIA. Thanks, Kenny, for sharing that part.
Kenny, this was fantastic. I’m still digging into the Catholic Church, and praying my husband will start digging too. He has a very strong pentecostal upbringing, as well as church hopping. We are currently Protestant. Thanks for all you do!
Please just continue with your journey. Ask God to be gentle with your heart and your discoveries. As he did with me. I promise you sister, you will never look back. God bless your family Abundantly. AVE Christus Rex ❤
I’m a cradle Catholic who fell away and recently returned Home. I’m so joyful and on fire for our Lord. We need to get out of our confort zone, not just go to Mass on Sunday. I love being Catholic. Thank you for this amazing interview
God led me into a Catholic Church, and when we said the Nicene Creed, I thought, “this is exactly what I believe!” And it feels great to declare that creed to the world, cling to it, and substantiate my faith with it.
Wow. I can't stop watching this video. Kenny is a great story teller. Thanks Keith for having him on. Every minute of the 2 and a half hours were all worth it. Amazing.
I am a very recently REverted cradle catolic. I never thought that woud happen. You guys have been so amazing in this journey. This session has been beyond awesome. Thankyou so much. xxx
Wonderful testimony though, very inspiring. 😊My journey started from Muslim to Catholic in India. Now' almost in exile. Please pray for me 🙏 Need God's spirit to continue on the right path 🙏
May our beautiful Mother watch over you and protect you. I cannot imagine the pressure you face and your courage is inspiring. YOU are the Saint, the Jesus speaks of, that you give great sacrifice, in His name!❤ 🙏
Prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
That’s great, though it must be hard. Sending prayers you stay on the right path✝️ God bless you. Catholic Answers website is very helpful in learning the faith and apologetics.
This was such a meaningful interview. My husband and I are both converts and both of us come from Pentecostal/Charismatic backgrounds. The part about just living a normal Christian life is so important! Thank you for sharing.
This is truly an excellent conversation that offers impactful insights for everyone -Catholics, Protestants, and even atheists. Thank you Keith, thank you Kenny. God bless you two... 🙏
Excellent episode! I really enjoyed hearing his testimony and appreciate his vulnerability. I've been a Protestant (Pentecostal) my entire life and currently in RCIA so hearing him answer the last few questions were super helpful! I will keep my ears open and mouth closed to be taught by the Church bc I truly believe it is the truth. You're also right, there's a cost for converting to Catholicism. My parents are Pentecostal Pastors and I finally told my Mom I'm in RCIA. I could tell she was hurt and feels like I'm going down the wrong path. I struggle telling them what I'm learning without making them feel like their life vocation hasn't been built on truth. Pray for me please 🙏🏾
I'm Catholic born and raised and Devout. You sister, are the true pearl! I was fortunate enough to be raised by a mother who had and iron will and deep faith but YOU, discovered this on your own and against the difficult odds and heart pain of your family almost rejecting your conversion. Paradise is for people like you who fought and currently fighting the good fight. God bless you abundantly. ❤️🔥🇻🇦✝️
This personal testimony & conversion is very spiritually uplifting & strengthening. Thank you Keith for featuring Kenny Burchard. His Catholic Bible Highlights is truly helping Catholics go back to the Bible & appreciate their faith, deeply rooted thru Apostolic succession.
Kenny I loved every minute of your life story thank you for sharing there is hope for our families that have straight keep up the good work we are praying for you and everyone in the whole world cradle Catholics here daily mass here being fed with the bread of angels daily lot of grandparents and great-grandparents here seen our fourth Generations praying constantly for everyone even our enemies. I had a baby sister named Mary Jo actually baptized Mary Joseph in the Catholic Church she only lived one night the 4th of 11 children. God is good all the time❤❤❤❤
Welcome to the Catholic church Kenny Burchard. Before I was from the New Testament church. But deeply in my heart says Catholicism is a true church. So I married a man from the Catholic church. Now I am active in the Catholic church. Amen Amen Amen.
I’m a cradle catholic and like others here, I didn’t know so much of my catholic faith. The one good thing about the pandemic is that it made us more prayerful and the UA-cam was a way to pray with others. I first found Bishop Fulton Sheen, then Father Chris Alar, Bishop Barron, and inspirational Catholics like Keith Nester and his guests. I continue to learn so much and love our church. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
Now that you are Catholic, I highly recommend you experience the Traditional Latin Mass. You will not be the same. It is the Mass of the Ages, and the Mass that all the saints celebrated. God Bless!
I was Baptized a Catholic on Aug 30th 1938 - this has helped me to understand the obstacles people have in becoming Catholics. I Enjoyed hearing your trip !
I'm 3 min and 7 sec into the conversation and after guest's introduction to who his parents were I already know it's going to be a beautiful and truly amazing story. Praise the Lord!!!
God bless EACH and everyone in the comments section. I've read so many stores but cannot reply to all as it's overwhelming. But God bless you all abundantly, keep praying and I swear God will listen and act in his perfect time. He has done this for me so many times but teaches me to be patient. Sometimes taking many years. But all for the benefit of your soul. Welcome home all🇻🇦❤️🔥✝️ AVE Christus Rex
About trying to believe things that are difficult to accept or understand things in Catholicism: St Anselm famously wrote, 'I do not seek to understand in order that I may believe, but rather I believe in order that I may understand'.
I converted 18 years ago for my wife and, sadly to say but, only now within the last two years since discovering the Traditional Latin Mass have I felt curious about Catholicism. I said my first rosary only about a year ago and now we say it everyday as a family thanks to other families sharing their faith with us through fellowship within their home. This interview was so amazing and stuck cord with me time and time again. Im a "local" and have celebrated mass at St Johns in VA Beach. I also grew up in the Assemblies of God church and other non denominational churches through my adolescence and young adult life. Theres so much great advice and resources I didnt know about before that I will be looking into. Thanks to ALL for this and helping me on my own journey
I'm a new Catholic. Came into the Church in 2020 also from Foursquare and evangelical protestant background. I was really sensitive coming into the Church when I saw anything irreverent or protestant ish or casual and really struggled trying to find a Catholic Church where I felt that Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament was being treated with love and care. Laypeople handling the Eucharist really bothered me as well as communion on the hand. I had seen all of that in protestant churches and was sad to see it in the Catholic Church. I am very thankful that the Lord led me very quickly to a beautiful traditional Latin Mass parish and I have felt at home ever since.
I’m so grateful to my parents who baptized me catholic. I made communion I have so many beautiful memories growing up. Don’t get me wrong I left my religion for a long time but god called me back and I’ve been listening and learning. I plan on getting both my boys baptized next year 2025. I grew up with not such great catholics and did not set the best example. (My own mom told me my kids were going to hell because I didn’t get them baptized) I’ve done a lot more healing and realizing that I can be a better Catholic for my father (God) that is what matters…and the trauma god has healed I’m So happy to be home. They can make the decision but i want to lead by example for both of my boys.✝️❤️🙏📿 I’m also learning how to pray the different rosary’s it’s been life changing.
I love this. You don’t know anything! I love his humility that he sits back and allows himself to be pastored. I wondered if he had a drive to still pastor. Thanks for this interview.
@@karenc2844 isn’t that the beauty of the Novus Ordo. It doesn’t take away or diminish the Latin Mass but it allows people of every nation to participate in their own language. Not everyone knows Latin and one of the issues with the Latin Mass was people didn’t know what they were saying. It is approved by the Magisterium and the weird Latin Mass supremacists by their disagreements wander into Protestant territory rejecting the authority of the Pope.
❤❤❤❤❤This is one of the most touching conversions I have heard. Your conversion makes my love the Catholic Church more and love Jesus more.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😇😇😇😇😇❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
As a person who didn’t grow up with a Dad who is a good representative of the Lord, everytime I see these kind of faithful guys to the Lord, it brings me so much hope. I see the reflection of Saint Joseph and Saint Joachim to the both of you. May God richly blessed the both of you.
Yes having a truly Catholic family is a Blessing and what the Lord desires for every family. My dad (we were Baptist) was always gone and there was fighting with or without his presence. As a result, I can't stand fighting. Dad had a major stroke at 57 and I moved in with him and Mom when I was 43, after fleeing a cult that falsely claimed to be Catholic. God helped us grow closer. Dad died suddenly in 2013 at 68, and my brother suddenly died in 2021. It's just mom and me and she's not a fan of the Catholic Church either. Pray for her conversion. The devil has done an effective job of poisoning hearts against the Catholic Church.
@ I will. Actually, my experience is the same as your mother. But I stayed Catholic because of the Divine Mercy Chaplet, have you prayed that? Very powerful. I would pray that for 6 times a day. But then I will skip the Blessed Mother. One day, I was sleeping and our Lord is there by my side. He is like “I guess you didn’t want me to be here” I even grab his hand. “No, I said. Why would you think that?”. Then he took me to a big white room of place with many people. I didn’t know who are they before. But they don’t like me there. I even saw Pope John Paul 2 and he is disappointed with me. But I said “I believe in Jesus”. But he is still shaking his head. And then our Lord Jesus Christ take me out of there because I became sad. Then he said “Go to that woman”. I don’t want to. 😅 Because of the things I heard about her. And I can tell our Lord is not happy (he too is shaking his head) not because of me. But the people I have been listening too at that time who are not Catholic. Who are teaching something bad and disrespectful to the Blessed Mother. I don’t want to go. But suddenly my body lifts up and went to her. She is walking towards me. And I kept saying the Lord’s name to rebuke her or make her go away. I am doing that cause people teach “that she is the devil or any of her apparitions are works of the evil one”. But she didn’t go away. Instead, she holds my two arms and then she gave me the greatest and warmest hug I’ve ever experienced in my life. As she was hugging me. I know I’ve been deceived by those people. Why would they say that? She is a good “woman”. You can feel her purity. After that, she revealed things on me. About the things that are too come. If you are having a hard time convincing your Mom. Pray the Rosary then the Divine Mercy Chaplet. She will come around fast. Will pray too for you. 🙏🏻
@@KennyBurchard Is he a quiet one? 😅 I noticed his presence is like that. He is there but he is really quiet. He wants to put more the Blessed Mother. I started requesting to petition my prayers on Him to the Lord only this year. And consecrate myself to the Holy Family. And I noticed his quietness and calmness.
Yes, THE LAMB’s SUPPER AND THE FOURTH CUP by Scott Hahn are MUST reads for those wondering, thinking about Catholicism or are new in the Church!!! Blows you away. Esp in reference to scripture mainly the Last Supper and book of Apocalypse (Revelation). Amazing!
Thank you, Kenny, for your heartfelt testimony, Welcome Home.😊 I have listened to testimonies for years, on EWTN, Journey Home. I live in Georgia where I'm surrounded by Protestants, Mary seems to be a hangup for most. About 4 months ago I had a voice, I think it was St Joseph, tell me when I was sleeping, that all Jewish Kings choose their Mother to be Queen.1 Kings 2,20, told me that King Soloman, a Jewish King, choose His Mother Bathsheba to be Queen. King Soloman had 2 thousand brides but only one Mother. Jesus is our King and gave His Mother Mary a throne at his right hand, She is our Advocate. Jesus has many, many brides, or spouses. I have given examples of Jesus spouses. St. Mother Theresa of Calcutta, and Mother Angelica of EWTN, both are fine examples of giving their whole lives to their Husband, Jesus. When I tell this to protestants there is no comment. I think they're in shock!!!! Isn't our Church beautiful, so beautiful. God bless you and your family
When Kenny began his Bible Highlights series, my first thought was that the Church should have a Bible Revival similar to the recent Eucharistic Revival. Obviously, this would benefit Catholics, but it would also help those outside the Catholic Church see how Biblical the Church of Jesus is. Father Mike’s Bible in a Year podcast is evidence that people yearn for the Word of God. We need to spread the word that it is found in His Church.
I love Kenny’s channel. It is a great resource along with Bible in a Year. I was trying to describe the awesome thing that purgatory is the other day. I just ordered Kenny’s book and hopefully it will give me the knowledge I was lacking.
Keith and Kenny, I appreciate your views and your testimonies as converts. I would not say I am a convert, but I am not a cradle catholic in sense where I was baptize as an infant either. I would love to meet you, Keith and Kenny, one day. My story I tell of my faith is quite one of journey. I have phenomenal faith filled parents. My dad's family is Catholic, my mom is methodist. When my sister and I were born, they were going to a non-denominational church at the time. Then we moved to a different town just 30 minutes away when I was three years old. My mom decided that she wanted a faith filled structure from the church for kids, which she felt the children's Sunday school just did not meet expectations. So, as a family we started to go to one of the Catholic Churches out in the outskirts of the new town in the country. I was dedicated as an infant at the non-denominational church. It was not until I was 7 years old that I was baptized in Catholic Church. Mom and Dad wanted us to be knowledgeable about denominational differences; they wanted us to make our own decision to become Catholic. Growing up my sister and I went to the CCD classes for the public-school kids. We choose every part of our journey through confirmation. I remember through childhood of discussing very heavy faith and spiritual topics as a family. They showed their love for Christ and God first. The way they would respond to answer our questions were superb, excellent grace and charisma on topics. As a public-school kid, that was very faith centered; I knew I wanted a faith affiliated college to go to. My mom went to a Reformed Presbyterian College. I did not want to go to the same school my parents went to college, but my mom told me to keep and open mind. I think it will fit your personality, and it is what you are looking for. Sure enough, I loved it and the faith filled environment. However, I was a Catholic girl going to a Reformed Presbyterian College. I love my experience, but it was not easy. I felt like I did not belong in many ways. I was discriminated against because I was a Catholic and Catholics are not real Christian the Protestant kids would say. And then I participated in a Catholic bible study, and they told me I was not a real Catholic because my parents did not marry in Catholic church and my mom was going to hell because she was not Catholic. For this I was not able to go to the Catholic Church nearby the college. So here I was a Catholic girl at Reformed Presbyterian college going to a United Methodist Church, which is where I found myself during the school year. I too had a church hopping experience where I would go to all kinds of denominational services. I experienced going to a Greek Orthodox Mass, CMA, Reformed Presbyterian, PCUSA, PCA, OP, Nazarene, UCC, Lutheran, non-denominational, and United Methodist. I still went to my Catholic church back at home over breaks. I want to say I struggled with these ideas, but I knew they were very corrupted and contorted views. I learned so much about my faith, the Catholic faith, and the bible verses, which I was now able to recite just as good as any of my protestant classmates. I spent my four years asking so many questions to protestants, to Catholics, of course did some deep prayer, and discernment with my bible I used in my bible requirement classes. I also felt like I did not know my bible as well as my protestant classmates did. I felt like I did not belong. So, I took it upon myself, freshman year I read my whole bible word for word that whole academic year, in 9 months. Look back at the experience as it made me stronger in my faith and knowledge of my faith. My biggest conclusion I like to tell people is that "FAITH IS A JOURNEY." It is a truly a journey, and your faith grows through your life. Thank you for two for sharing your convert stories!!!
I started my "ordination" through the pentecostal ministry network. I remember that three tier prossess. Certified, Licensed and "ordained" I got halfway through the second when through my personal studies of the Church Fathers that my understanding of Christianity was becoming more clear.
No organization has any biblical or ecclesial authority to ordain anyone in the way that Paul, for instance, ordained Timothy or Titus. Without apostolic succession, an ordination has no divine authority (however much organizational or denominational authority -- which is 100% human) it might have. There is no biblical basis for anyone starting an organization, yielding to themselves the power to ordain, and then telling people they are ordained as though the ordination comes from Jesus. This was a serious crisis for me. But it's just a fact.
If you read the seven letters written by St. Ignatius of Antioch who is an apostolic father of the Church we have the first documented record where he callls the church Catholic. He also describes Bishops, Priest, and Deacons!
I know where is my Bible! 😊 Thank you so much Keith for this interview, being a cradle catholic and began digging about my catholic faith early this year, all your episodes of interview that you made that I listened so far is helping me so much in this transformation that I am going through. And this episode is another conviction that being a Catholic is a blessing. God bless you and your family!
Hi Keith, I’m Polish and I’m so glad you went to visit my country Poland and that you had a good time in Cracow (I’ve been living in Canada since many years). I love your chanel and I love conversion stories!!! Your guest was great and I was deeply moved listening to his story! God bless!
I was born and raised Catholic, I left and became evangelical Independent. I've been divorced and remarried. Truly thinking about coming back to the Catholic Church. But I feel it would be difficult my children were baptized Catholic. But feel it would be hard return because they were not raised in the church. I love this podcast I find it very helpful. God bless you and your ministry. P S You might find this interesting. My mother was Catholic Nun long story. Have a blessed day
I left the LDS church and converted to Catholicism… No crosses in the Mormon/LDS church because they say they celebrate the resurrection, not the crucifixion, so they don’t have crosses as a center point of their faith. Crosses are not forbidden, just not encouraged.
Nothing is impossible for God. The holy spirit is upon you, and stirring your heart. Go and embrace Mary, she'll take you by the hand to Jesus. Blessings 🙏
I love both of these men and the work they do!!! I would be honored and humbled to share my conversation after 40 years as a Baptist with either of you!!!
Funny, when I read that I thought, “nothing wrong with being a Baptist, being a Catholic I know Baptist is a very real piece of Christianity but, whatever it takes to introduce you to the rest of Christianity I pray you let it find you”. It was in my wife’s Baptist Church where I realized like I never knew before that I had to get my butt back to Catholic. I will ‘always’ be grateful that the pastor there called the Body Of Christ a mere symbol. I just knew better than that from my core being. Jesus did not call that a symbol; He said it IS my Body… …since that moment, crossing myself in that Baptist Church - BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE - I knew where I was going. God loves you; do not forget that!
Awesome! I’m a contributing member of CHN, it’s a great ministry and they provide so much great content! And Kenny’s new UA-cam channel is wonderful! Thank you Keith, your channel is great too!!!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful journey to our Catholic faith. God is patient and loving…. Bless your family & I will pray for you & your family to continue to share your journey to the Catholic faith , your story is/will be more powerful then the cradle Catholic journey. I am a cradle Catholic and I hunger to know more and understand the Bible more. Please continue to spread your love /faith for all of us 🙏🙏🙏
My two favorite teachers 🙌🙏🏼🙌🙏🏼. God bless you both. What do both of these men have in common…humility! They swallowed their pride and came back to the one true church. Me too. But, it took me a while because I thought I was right. Then after reading the early church fathers I realized I needed to get as close to their teaching as possible. 🙏🏼💕
This is such a treasure that everything that is said here could be a book. I have been following you both since I came back to Catholicism after so many years of being a Baptist and it just further confirms what I already know that I am already really back home. Thanks to you both!
At end of pm noting the usual slinging at Catholics, came here able to listen beyond a minute or so with the former, listened to this program and deeply appreciate this testimony. Thank you.
Dang, Ratzinger is not here with us anymore but his writings continue to convert people until today 😮 Not to mention that his theology simply just on Saint level.
A truly spiritually captivating podcast. So much to absorb here. Thank you Keith for sharing this and the previous interviews, which all contribute to my ever growing appreciation of my Catholic upbringing. May God bless you and Kenny and continue to broaden your outreach and influence as you touch lives and garner souls for the Kingdom of God.
Just shows how we need to be aware of people’s need and also clarify our jargon when talking to non-Catholics. I remember being clueless about Catholic lingo my first few years as a Catholic. I would say funny things like “holy dish” instead of ciborium. 😁
This video…. this video… No words, yet so much to say… THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Do and will recommend. ❤ A Rejoicing Cradle Catholic!

@@vanessamay3689 For Those with Ears to Hear and Hearts to Understand
There was a time when I thought I understood God, but I’ve come to realize that it wasn’t until I walked through the darkest valleys of my life that I truly began to grasp the depth of His presence.
Final Thoughts
I don’t have all the answers, but I know this: God is real.
With love and hope,
A Servant of the Most High

I am an Indian. Thanks for this podcast. It really strengthened my faith in Catholic church.
As someone who was in LDS Leadership then a Protestant Pastor now Catholic from Utah I feel all of this

Wow, that's incredible. God bless you and welcome home ❤️🔥
Wow, now that's a story that needs to be shared!
@carolynschuster291 definitely
I asked a Protestant one day, who was trying to “sell” me Jesus:
“What are the Protestants protesting against”?
Hi! I'm from the Philippines too. I'm from Romblon. How about you?
@@HermelynCrespo from Romblon too. Katoliko hanggang sa huli..

What about being a Christian. I know several Catholics who have never made Jesus their Savior. They are drunkards and profane people. But they take the Eucharist. What hypocrisy!

RCIA is helpful, though you need to understand that there isn't enough time to do a deep dive
into all of these subjects.
I wish you all the best.
God bless you! 🙏
Same here was away from the faith for over 30 years, 4 years ago came back went through RCIA/OCIA. So proud of my catholic faith, never ever leaving again! Now helping my kids understand the faith so they never leave!
I'm one of those!
Rejoice is what converts make us lifelong Catholic feel. You make us appreciate our faith so much more.
Amen, Mary brought me to her Divine Son after 12 years of living in mortal sin
Focus on the present, my dear sister. You are home. Some of us apparently need to wander. Even St Augustine prayed “Lord, make me a saint, but not just yet!” We come to Him in our own time. Glory to God!
I AM A CATHOLIC FROM THE PHILIPPINES.
BUT I LEARN A LOT FROM YOUR GUESTS ABOUT THE CATHOLIC TEACHINGS. I AM VERY THANKFUL KEITH.
Filipina here as well watching from Canada
Beautiful story. God had a plan for you. I’m glad you followed his calling.

That's amazing. Amen😊❤
I was 58 independent Baptist. Took 3 years of RCIA before I undid all the errors and understood the truth.
Your story can help many people out.
Thank you. There were so many things that happened. It was astonishing
I love Kenny Bruchard! He helped me so much on my journey to Catholicism!
Pentecostal learning about Catholicism. Wow! Thank you for sharing. This was just wonderful ❤
Wow. I can't stop watching this video. Kenny is a great story teller. Thanks Keith for having him on. Every minute of the 2 and a half hours were all worth it. Amazing.
Story teller indeed ….fables
He is an incredible communicator -- direct, clear, and engaging.

3 things brought me back to the Catholic Church after 20 yrs wandering in the Evangelical wilderness...obedience, authority, and Eucharist.
I am a very recently REverted cradle catolic. I never thought that woud happen. You guys have been so amazing in this journey. This session has been beyond awesome. Thankyou so much. xxx
Me too! I am so excited to be a receptor now to the Catholic Faith

Prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel
St.
Amen.
God bless you!!
Thank you very much for reminding us Catholics to Rejoice... it's one of the best 2:30 hours video I've ever watch.. God Bless You both.
Praying for you on your Faith journey❤
Sending you prayers as you navigate this season with your family. May God continue to bless you on your journey🧡🙏🏼
Praying for you and your parents. God bless you all.

This personal testimony & conversion is very spiritually uplifting & strengthening. Thank you Keith for featuring Kenny Burchard. His Catholic Bible Highlights is truly helping Catholics go back to the Bible & appreciate their faith, deeply rooted thru Apostolic succession.
God bless all those here listening to this interview this Advent season ✝️✝️✝️
The internet is such a boon because you will remember a bit of the readings but not know where they are and just look them up!
Welcome home all🇻🇦❤️🔥✝️

Thanks, Keith, that was epic!
About trying to believe things that are difficult to accept or understand things in Catholicism:
St Anselm famously wrote, 'I do not seek to understand in order that I may believe, but rather I believe in order that I may understand'.
Such a good interview, god bless both you guys! And I love our holy apostolic Catholic Church!
I must admit, I'm like super stoked for this interview w Keith & Kenneth?✡️✝️🔥🗡🛡
I love this. You don’t know anything! I love his humility that he sits back and allows himself to be pastored. I wondered if he had a drive to still pastor. Thanks for this interview.
The best testimonial I've heard the last two years easily, very clear, touching all the bases, super transparent, very human , awesome, really awesome
Beautiful!!!
I went to Japanese Mass this morning, knowing that every Mass in the world was the same liturgy, readings, and prayers.
awesome!
Except they are not. Definite differences in NO and Traditional Latin...sadly. Used to be the same when i was growing up...

As a person who didn’t grow up with a Dad who is a good representative of the Lord, everytime I see these kind of faithful guys to the Lord, it brings me so much hope. I see the reflection of Saint Joseph and Saint Joachim to the both of you. May God richly blessed the both of you.
Thanks. St. Joseph is my Patron. I love him.
Keith like seriously, thank you for inviting such amazing guest! The work on your set is great! It looks so cool!

thank you!
Awesome!
Excellent idea!!!
Strongly agree. God bless.
@@larrys4383 you read my mind exactly.
Would prefer a catechism and Bible revival.

Absolutely enjoyed Kenny's testimony. What a beautiful journey, thanks for sharing. Keith thanks for making it all possible.
Where do I find the 7 letters? Is there a book I can read?
Google it...there is plenty of commentary on St Ignatius' 7 letters@@Bkenda05

Come back to the Catholic Church ! Pray Rosary and Do Eucaristic Adoration
Praying for you. Follow Jesus wherever he leads!
I left the LDS church and converted to Catholicism…
No crosses in the Mormon/LDS church because they say they celebrate the resurrection, not the crucifixion, so they don’t have crosses as a center point of their faith. Crosses are not forbidden, just not encouraged.
Nothing is impossible for God. The holy spirit is upon you, and stirring your heart. Go and embrace Mary, she'll take you by the hand to Jesus. Blessings 🙏
I pray for you to come back home. Catholic church is the fullness of Gods grace. AMEN
@@MrDoyle07 I realized that I was missing the fullness of what Jesus had in store for me His Sacraments.

Very inspiring on who the truth prevails. Hope it will inspire Christian unity where we come one body.
Thank you.
What an amazing journey into the Catholic Church for him and his wife and so many throughout his Ministry; so clearly lead by God 🙏
What an amazing testimony! The difference between authority of God and authority of man is so pertinent.
Well done. Thanks Kenny and Keith.

So true! He needs to be made one of the Doctors of the Church. 🙏🏼
one of the teachings i like from Pope Benedict 16th is the different types of kneeling...
