The Church flat out condemned praying and worshipping with Protestants/heretics through her entire history. While yes some exceptions might exist where one would attend like funerals and the such the teaching of the Church is that no you can not worship with Protestants.

I have had both my babies in a hospital but I really enjoyed this perspective. One of my takeaway is God Willing we have another and if we have it in a hospital, I should bring some things into the room to remind me of the holiness of the moment! A picture of the holy family is a great idea! Thank you for sharing your story!

They should read the New Testament - the Lord is very specific with the Apostle Paul to teach us about speaking in tongues. The edification of the inner man, is by the Holy Spirit, and we read that he tells Timothy to stir up the gift of the spirit. When we pray in tongues we are speaking mystery to God and the Holy Spirit is interceding for us.

First 3 were in the hospital, it was challenging due to my discomfort in a hospital setting. #4 my provider switched nurses and we did not get along and I was sick of spending hours in the waiting room for appointments so I switched to a midwife and home birth at 26 weeks. It was so much easier for me to do what my body needed and after actually being able to rest in my own bed. #5 coming in late spring and excited to have another home birth.

I’m a relatively new convert to Catholicism. I’ve apparently been doing the sign of the cross as a hybrid of Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox. Left to right should but with the thumb, index and middle finger. I am a laborer and was experiencing pain in my shoulders and also from my elbow to my pinky. Apparently the pain is from the ulnar nerve (funny bone nerve) getting trapped. It forces the pinky and ring finger down towards my palm to alleviate the pain. I’ve noticed this is the Benediction pose. I’ve also noticed Christ’s hands (one or both hands) usually depicted this way on images of the crucifixion. I’ve also heard that when the nails pierced His wrists, they pierced this nerve. The pain to be hung up by the funny bone nerve had to be excruciating. Anyway, that’s why I use the 3 fingers.

I know those verses are in the bible But my Question is who came up with the Hail Mary Prayer and put it together. If it ain’t from God Jesus it’s not biblical. When his disciples ask him how do we pray lord He said to them, "When you pray, say: "`Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation.

This is an American thing

I have a book I've bought but I've been trying to figure where I put it but it's called tortured for Christ but I don't know the author, I can't seem to find that book How to be Somebody by Mark Mendez but I'd like to have that and I want to Read it but it's hard to get out and know where to find it. I've been in a Bible Study Group with my friends and been in the Bible for nearly 4 years but I'm really Blessed because I was born with Arthrogryposis and I've been angry because I had issues with everyone and God but I've been changing since I've been in the Bible in 2020 but hopefully I can somehow find it. AMEN to the Bible best book ever to read and practice

This show is unique. In a world where there is too many origin stories of any type I can see how this has no origin story. I was like you " where is Jesus". When he did show up it was like when I see a superhero movie and Superman shows up. Because of budget there are some stories that they do condense or some events don't show up, but still, this show is very good and I can't wait for more of your reaction.

I don’t like it when Christians look overly smiley like this. It just seems fake, icky, and weird. Like you just downed the flavoraid or something. When she talks he looks at her and smiles and vise versa. It’s eerie. Just be a normal human being. No one in real life behaves like this. And when Christian men act like this it makes them look effeminate. Like he got neutered or something. Looking and being agreeable is a feminine trait.
