This is the choir I always wanted to see perform. I watched them when I was little on TV , I thought their voices were just like crystal! I’m so excited to attend their performance soon!

This choir is 523 years old. Let that sink in. It existed 255 years before Mozart was born. I get headache even thinking about that 🤣. Absolute amazing how they managed to survive this long. Absolute superb.

I'm Japanese, but I like this song. The voices of the singers are beautiful and I can hear them all the time. The text may be strange because it is translated. But I just want to tell you this, I like this song very much. I also like the singer. I'm glad I met this song.

Great job! I was lucky enough to see the Vienna Boys Choir perform their Advent Concert in the Golden Hall of the Musikverein in Vienna. It was incredible, both the music and the location.

Ya know, I think I have heard of the Vienna Boys Choir. But I have never heard them before. I LOVE this song. And I will listen to anyone that sings it. And now I have heard the voices of The Vienna Boys Choir. Although this is not way I am use to hearing the song. Y'all brought real beauty to the song. Kudos!

Many years ago they came to Chile. A beautiful concert, which I watched on TV. Half of it was an operetta about a girl who dresses as a soldier (XIX century grenadier type) and fights in a war. All of that in German, of course, except two moments: an uniformed kid enters the stage running, and exclaims *in Spanish* "general, general, the enemy is approaching!" and later the leading character says just before running away "they aren't going to get me!" All of this with the cutest German accent.
The people in the theater applauded those bits more than everything else, lol.
Wondering now what become of those kids. Sigh.

Some are real spoilt brats.....i've worked with them a decade ago. I had kindergarden kids behave better. They clearly know how famous they are and many come from insanely rich old money families.....

This is a 200 plus yearly sea shanty from New Zealand. The Weller Co. began as a retail company for Tasmanian Whallers. One young man put it up on UA-cam and the rest is history.

Well guess what I was a member of the Burlngoton boys choir in the 90's. We had a scheduled trip to see the Vienna Boys choir and meet them and all that. It was cancelled because of the war in the middle east and the concern for that. During that time we were considered one of the top boys choirs in the world with multiple invites to the white house and Biltmore house, although the Vienna Choir was always considered number one. We had a rigorous practice schedule but we heard the Vienna choir lived on campus completely. Either way cudos and impressive performance

I did a fair bit of singing when i was young, and i had a bit of an angelic voice, so i can truly appreciate the talent of the guys in the choir. Lovely song to start with, and this rendition is worth listening to 👍

Sea shanties were for everyone onboard to sing, because it was to have the crewmen bonding together, amongst other thing, and that included the ship's boys, who could be as young as 7 years old. It's terribly reductive for sea shanties to be sung by coarse-voiced old white men who have smoked and drunk too much.

This is very nice..Is there any way to confirm the year's of the photo's? I believe my Father is sitting in the bottom far right corner of the Rotterdam pics.(31 secs, 42 secs)..His name was Hans Rinas and specialized in Mozart. (around mid 50's -early 60's.. Thank you for the video..

This is exactly what I was looking for. Most of the videos fiting into the choir arrangement search are just wrong. I was hoping to find a choir arrangement, or something that sounds close to one, that I could show my choir teacher and ask about.

I'm a Canadian Choir school member, of 50 people. I can relate, we dress in scouts uniforms, no shorts, long pants, and an armband with a bass clef on it. My role is the flute so, I have a pin of a flute. We wear kepi caps.
