Botters really do be making more money than J Mods.
jmod 30k a year oh no no no lmaoooooooooooo
and thats why any kind of mod is corrupted AF, they get paid more than their yearly salary
Truth weath left for a reason Cambridge cost living 60-100k jagex here 20k a year
Nah jmods are in on it and get a cut.
@@Mexican00b i doubt corrupted, more like gotta make money somehow to make ends meet. Cambridge expensive as shit

Jagex: free bot-detection software?
Pretty much
I wish I made 150k a month with botting on a 2001 browser game.
It’s a whole organization of people it’s not just one person on it man lol 😆

Bet this blew your mind. Now you know why people bot lmao.
@@Ownage4lif31 The owner of soul split made a ton
The jewellery could be related to the mass amount of general store/Martin Thwait store selling
an interesting thing i've noticed is that if you have 99 thieving, you have access to a different store.
so when i trade Martin, the general store is default, but when i jump on an alt, i can see the items the bots are selling
Jewelerry could be enchanting for mage xp. Or the ham store rooms as I would imagine thats easily botted
@@SkizVids it's the same for all shops that sell skillcapes, like auburys rune shop has separate stock if you have 99 rc
They could also alch them if all the stores are overstocked too, doubtful but possible.

They improved their Anti Cheating team? Nah bro, they actually started doing their jobs since you are exposing their trash anti system. This company is a joke compared to what they actually earn.
'How do you sell $1m of OSRS gold'
How do De Beers sell a worlds supply of diamonds?
Props to Jagex for starting to invest more in their Anti-Cheating team. If OSRS is going to grow, cutting down on botting needs to be a top priority.
Don't worry they'll stop caring again like usual. So much wrong with this game and so little is done to make it better even after the communities outcry.
They don't give af about the game lmao just look at the duel arena yet they do nothing.
Bruh bots will always live, they have to in order to make the most profit out of the game. Think about it, most bots are member, membership means income for jagex. No bots means they would lose half their income.
Economy is beyond fucked already so it really doesn't even matter at this point which is probably another thing that encourages the iron agenda
Other than the terms of service, what makes botting so "bad"?
The one thing I don't understand is why aren't gold farmers being banned? It's not like they're just sitting on their cash. They're selling it.
Some of the like me that don’t rwt:)
Harder to trace human players, and also the ethical dilemma that most gold farmers live in extremely poor countries and Runescape goldfarming is actually their best chance of staying fed.
It seems like a trend of how Jagex replys to you. "Ya we totally know about that bot farm", then irl on a staff meeting zoom call " So puggers told me about this farm and we should look at it maybe".
"Nah we're fine we dont need it , let them make some money"
The fact that they reply to a UA-cam creator with details on their anti cheating measures but having a dumpster fire four customer support makes me go hmmmmm.
Players needing customer support
Jagex: lol pass
UA-camr reaching out about a blog farm
Jagex: hey here's a bunch of information about our anti cheating measures for you to post a video about. Let us know if we can give you any more information!
Damn. Jagex really tricked him into thinking they're actually trying.
😂😂
why would they wanna ban themselves lol

The only reason these bot farms run is because normal players buy their gold lol
Well companies buy stakers gold and then players buy.
normal players dont buy their gold, the heavy stakers do.
@@dantedeloden And pvmers
@@kingdumbass1582 Yeah, but the staking is a way bigger issue itself anyways idk why Jagex hasn't gotten rid of.

25k on death reminds me back in the day when people would do the same with 76k cause of trade restrictions. This was around 2009-2010 or so.

My acc was hacked and turned into a Zulrah bot ign is 7 rows. I have 3.5k kc and legit don’t even know the rotations. Got a free pet and mutagen though.
i quit playing for a while and some time during then i got hacked, when i came back i had nothing, and i didnt notice until the other day i have zulrah kc too, and i also dont know the rotations
had the same thing happen to me, logged in after a while but had new phone so had to remove 2step... logged in and didn't feel like playin after all, closed the game n logged in 2 weeks later, acc was banned for macroing, luckily got the acc back, although my stacked bank was pretty much empty other than some stuff to kill zulrah with etc
@@rommYh i luckily didnt get banned or anything, they just used my account for 500 kills then took everything and moved on i guess lol
@@zonkbronk5260 yeah, lucky that I got my acc back, heard that usually it's pretty useless to try to get unbanned for macroing, although my account is old enough and i haven't done anything fishy beforehand so I guess that worked out lol
How is it everytime you reach out to Jagex they are like "Pugger we were aware of these bots and have been banning them recently" Yet the market reflects they have do little to nothing. I appreciate your efforts, hope you have a good christmas.
Just look at it like this, this is what the game looks like because Jagex is working on banning bots. Imagine if they didn't do anything
I think it was they ban like 20-30k bots a day, they can never catch all of them
@@some1fromfin 0
@@Chaylubb You are right. I know they ban bots, new bot farms creep up all the time and Pugger seems to get the scoop on them..and when he investigates it looks as though they are running at 100% until he reports it to Jagex, then we see the decline happen.
@@Tantoblade1pd The main reason for this is Pugger uses the general community to help him locate and track down potential bot farms on the ground instead of using account statistics through various anti-bot protocols. Every time a bot farm is shut down the botters come up with a slightly different way of doing things (variety of inputs, account builds, gear setups) to throw people off the trail.
Think of it like this: ex. There's a drug house down the street. Police rely on data, statistics and evidence in order to identify criminals, which takes time and manpower, and they may not be intimately familiar with that particular street. They then have to follow procedure in order to get permission to shut down the operation. Meanwhile any local resident could tell you "Hey, don't go to that house down the street, it's a drug house" because they've spent a lot of time in that area and know what happens in their neighbourhood.
Runescape is a big game. It has tons and tons of locations to cover, content to sift through, some of which hasn't been looked at in literally a decade (Salarin the Twisted anyone?) and they have a limited amount of resources and manpower to do it all with. Meanwhile there are thousands of players who could stumble across these bot farms at any time by accident and tell someone like Pugger about it.
Jagex: we have no costumer support
Also Jagex: we only talk to big youtubers
No hate, just a joke.
It’s true though
Lol good point, but at the same time, a quick chat with Sir Pugger is an easy way for Jagex to connect with 200k+ players who like to keep up-to-date with this stuff

How is there a bot to do zulrah ? I can’t even do it and I’ve been playing for 2 years 😂
2 years? Been playing for 5 years but can't kill Bryophyta
If you look at the price of dragon bones or red chins, you can see a very similar pattern of the price crashing in the last several months. I'm not sure where this is being botted but it seems to be a big issue too.
theres been a lot of Motherload mine bots lately taking up the upper area, not sure how long its been ongoing, but i've noticed an abundance of them over the last couple weeks over basically all worlds besides 2.2k, which is already packed with fellow gamers and i'm not tryna mess up their xp rates.
Do your thing bossman
Yeah, they all have full mining otufit too for some reason. seems like they would just convert the nuggets to soft clay instead
These bots 8:54 seem to be bots for
"w308 anvil" bots.
They sell battlestaves to buy bars and with those bars make platebodies and those plate bodies are then alched or sold by the main.
They have been tracking them for a few days? This has been happening for months lol
Well over a year*
it means they’d already been tracking the accounts he sent over for a few days, not the entire problem
the mobile botfarm my friend, not the normal one.
The problem is bot farmers are creative and it takes weeks/months of jagex investigation and in the meantime bots release huge money into the game, then when jagex is onto it bot farmers have already moved somewhere else to a new method. I dont wanna publicly desecreate anyone but there have been jagex employees who have been linked to RWT in the past, so it woudnt be a surprise if anyone was on it, since they get paid low wages.

@@Isosceles8818 😆
Hey Pugger, since you're so buddy buddy with Jagex why don't you talk to them about the real problem in the game. This is chump money compared to the duel arena. Stakers make more then triple this on the black market. It's the most toxic part of runescape by far. That's where Jagex needs to focus their attention for real. Gambling addiction is so bad over there people are putting up there actual mortgage to stake more gold. Our boy KempQ is getting death threats, hitman threats, swatting threats, just for exposing them while others actually were swatted in the past. It's only getting worse meanwhile Jagex puts all there effort in these bot farms that just keep spawning no matter what they do.
There is no problem in the arena itself, other than the last hit mechanic. The problem is the people who are playing the game. The game itself is not inherently good or bad.
Thats not a real problem in the game bro, these botters are crashing ingame items overall , duel arena is all gp to gp and isnt crashing items…… if the botters get banned then no gold to be sold to gamblers……
Sir pugger: these be bots
Jagex: you mean the ones wearing the same stuff with really similar stats yeah we been tracking them
Sir pugger: then do something?
Jagex: ok
Damn, Pugger and FlippinOSRS are on the same upload schedule 🤙🏼
I was doing a quest in edgeville dungeon and i noticed what seem like bots running through the gate entering the wilderness area. They all have a random smattering of stats with high magic levels and around 65 to 75 combat. They all seem to be using air staffs.
air orb bots? they've been a thing for a long time
i really wanna know how many players are real on osrs seems like every player i come across is a bot nowadays
Facts
unless you are going to very specific spots, its unlikely you're seeing bots. Unless you are f2p only man mode, then yeah probably all bots.
2b for?
This just shows how many people actually buy gold..
I remember Jagex said half the playerbase have bought gold
can't they track the mass creation of account and track them from the start?
IP flagging is rumoured to be a thing in botting community, altho I've met some serious farmers telling to me as a friend that they don't bother w IP changing methods since the ban rate seems to not change. Altho common practice is to proxy every account that's botting the same thing to prevent chain bans

Hi! We're trying to make OSRS in VR! Look up Lumbridge VR or Varrock VR
Crumb we're hoping to help us get more eyes on the project and people willing to help. SoupRS made the original coverage videos but I'm hoping for a follow up too with the specific request of getting help from the community.
Would you do similar? We have some ideas like an HD toggle, and using Unity to have an MMORPG style multiplayer instead of the current singleplayer mod only for Blade and Sorcery VR.
I'm happy to see you connecting with Jagex, and it's a great move on their part, I think. For you, it makes your videos a whole magnitude larger in scale, there's only so much one person can speculate from a third person perspective - surprisingly more than I would have imagined though, insane props to you for managing to do so much - so with Jagex's help you can really give a wider view of the subject.
And for Jagex, it's free advertisement that despite what it might feel like, they ARE making progress and doing something, it's just such an absolutely gigantic issue that it can be difficult to see change on such a small, zoomed-in scope.
Overall I've enjoyed your more recent videos even more than I already did. I love how you relate everything you're talking about in the videos to several other different things to make what you're talking about more understandable. When you're into the hundreds of billions and other gigantic numbers like that it's way too big for me to actually comprehend, but when you break it into items, gold/hour, real money made, accounts run, levels, K/C, and price changes in items it becomes something I can visualize more. Just wanted to say that I appreciate the effort put into explaining this stuff in so many different ways, including visually with graphs and graphics, it doesn't go unnoticed and it's very much appreciated!
Keep up the super interesting content, everytime I get the notification that you've uploaded a new video I can't wait to watch it!

I been grinding zulrah lately. I have 250k stack of scales i'm holding until these bots start going.
I know that there are some insane programmers in the world. Machine learning and AI is now a very real thing. I would suggest that there are hundreds, if not thousands of accounts, being controlled not by an injection client, or a typical program like dreamboat, but by fully customised software, undetectable.
The rs3 bots are collecting cursed energy up to a value of 25k. In order to prevent RWT, jagex implemented some kind of system that makes so you only drop 25k at a time in gold whenever you are pked for any value 25k or higher.
Yea there's been cursed energy gathering bots for a good while now, though I didn't realize they were also getting themselves killed on purpose.
Theres also a massive bot farm at demonic gorillas. It goes unnoticed because not many people camp gorillas, just go there for slayer. The bots wear normal void (lol) and some have nezzy helms and full karils. All use whips and blowpipes. They all act the same way and bank at ferox enclave and never alc anything. Zenytes have crashed to 10m because of this
Finally my 600M zulrah scales merch is gonna MOON
:-D Go BANNWAVE go
I just noticed that the price of Zulrah's scales went up from 145 to 176 between December 8th and December 13th, which is a price increase of well over 20%.. coincidence?
It's shameful seeing this. Shameful that Jagex let it get this bad. Everything that could go wrong is going wrong with OSRS it's literally the most dead "alive" game.
Found a zulrah bot today lol
RSN : mymoneyyy - 11k KC with similar stats you stated
EDIT : Any suspected bots I'll post their RSN below
Namaste3
I have no idea what is going on in these videos but I really like watching them.
It's obvious though that these bot detections are always too late. SirPugger puts up the amounts of GP that the mules are banned with and it's always relatively small compared to the scale of the farm. I guess they could be getting caught really early in their operations but it seems more likely that they have already offloaded billions and billions of GP.
Imagine......Working for Jagex and learning everything.
From what I've seen of Jagex jobs going on average earnings of around £40k per year.
If an employee just so happens to leave and utilise this knowledge to generate Hundreds of thousands per month what.......OH WAIT that already happened.
That probably doesn't include bonuses .
Making money from botting is not sustainable at all. It's also not consistent money
@@Settings404 you think if you earned over a Million pounds for a year you'd be to worried about the longevity of your chosen job?
Personally I think it would be milked until it wasn't possible anymore, considering the UK average for wages is around £35k
@@gdiddly3957 I doubt they made $1 million in a year. Do you know how hard it is to sell $1 million worth of gp? Also the legalities of the money is super sketchy

This conversation is based on the lower end of the estimated earnings, so think of how many people are actually farming.
I would say 1 million is not ludicrous nor un obtainable, after all that's why botting has never stopped because it is some what sustainable.
There will always be a market for GP/Accounts and services.
Yo pugger I know it's in your best interest to maximize possible values, but you're forgetting to zero out pre-farm stat building in your final cost analysis.
Time spent leveling up is not time spent farming.

fuck all my hand done zulrah kills would be so much more money if it werent for these fucking things, would be so much more worth it to do zulrah
5:00 So the bots were farming Zulrah as soon as they were created? That's impressive
2 years later. 99% of the people at zulrah are bots with 20k+ kills. How the fck dont they get banned?
The wilderness bots are likely cursed energy bots due to combat level differences, the bots are being killed and drop 25k since they never had membership. It is probably random players killing the bots as there isn't really much value in botting to die this way.
No, ive been bot hunting the past few days in rs3 and i came across small groups of bots lvl 10 wearing a cosmetic iron 2h right at the wilderness ditch. When i stood around them in the wildy they all logged out. I hopped to another world and the same thing happened. These were on legacy mode worlds i guess to try and hide themselves better. All the bots ive seen in the wildy have been in legacy worlds since sirpugger called out the rs3 dupe
I think there's a bit of an error at 4:57 regarding playtime. They didn't spend 324 hours killing Zulrah - they will spend a portion of those hours leveling up and completing Underground Pass.
negligible compared to the time spent at zulrah

Yea bro .. I killed zulrah for first few times recently and i couldn't help but notice all those bots with a similar pattern of movement and names.. Stayed for a half hour just reporting a dozen or so bots in one world
Crafting Amulets is a good way to train magic and crafting and smithing if you buy the gold bars and go from scratch, maybe those bots did that just to get Reqs without having to lost profits.
Look at soups video where he kills himself to make profit in wildy. Some items are so low in value that you can buy them and get the profit from the drop
this is the reason I quit the game. The economy is ruined and its impossible to make any money without insane requirements.

It was a Yanille Iron Ore mining & Banking bot.
The best Iron Ore bot before dungeonneering existed.
Jager loves their bots. Ran it every day for around 8-10 hours. Never banned. Not even a year after. 100% believe bots are even used to keep a stable economy. People are fighting a battle that will never be won and it won't change anything in the long run.
You'd have to be crazy if you think they are running mobile bots. The cost to run these will make you break even.
100% emulation of mobile client (not bluestacks, not an android emulator) I'm talking completely reversed either headless or just spoofing via the desktop client, on the desktop pc. Reversing it wouldn't be too difficult, and many have already done it before. Seems this person got too cocky and started to mass and make it too obvious.
>as you can see I have a cursor on mobile RuneScape

I actually play War robots on an emulator from time to time because it's better than the phone controls
Pretty sure Bluetooth/plug in mouse and keyboard has been a thing since Android 3.0, if you have a modern Samsung go to your box and grab the usb Type C male to usb type A female and plug your PC's mouse in, is funny

Hey sir pugger,
I don’t know if you’ve answered this before, but I want to hear your opinion on these bots/membership and with jagex actually banning them, or kinda over looking them/avoiding them in some way.
When there’s 100 bots doing a specific farm on a membership accounts it’s a lot of money for jagex to lose a month, and that’s only one specific bot farm and we know there is a lot more that we are aware of.
You seem to be finding these bot farms so easily, wether it’s tips from other people or you finding them yourself, it’s clear they’re easy to find, are jagex to busy with other things? Not enough employees to track them down? I’m just really curious because there are so many bots in the game, are they actually happy to lose so much money in the process to keep the real players happy because the bots are ruining the item values etc, thanks!
