holy shit i just realized what the steven farm is for. to spam jagex with reports so the system is flooded and actual bot reports get overlooked because jagex is desensitized to all the reports
Jagex should hire the Steven bot maker to make an truly interactable NPC, maybe a Co-op NPC in a quest? Or a raid boss

Fremennik exiles requires 55 runecraft, 50 fishing, 53 cooking and 50 mining. The chaos druid bots might be basilisk knight bots.

Stevens are my favorite!! I love playing with Steven I literally been playing with them for like 2 years you can actually have them hop the wildy ditch and attack other players so if someone was to train them up to like lvl 20-30 and had like 8 of the Steven bots they can order them to attack other players and no risk pk
That sounds disgustingly broken.
What I want to see is two people each have a team of 6 Stevens battle on the bridge above the volcano in level 50+ wildy.

Dude for real. This is a peak Ironman money maker and pugs just tore it to shreds right before GIM players started getting there.
That's what I hate about all of these runescape videos showing all of the money making and farming methods. If it's not someone PKing, it's someone making another set of bots.

I dislike that I can report the same bots everyday for 3 weeks and none of them are banned

The bot farm owner has nothing to lose and anything they gain i.e stats/items are gained. Slightly harmless but a bot farm owner is still profiting from it ruining the game imo!
7:00 I believe there is a F2P Hill Giant bot farm that acts the same way. They log in on the southern safespot near Obor's gate, get a few kill(sometimes just a few hits), then go back to the same tile and log out/hop.
My first guess is the bot maker is testing the automated flagging/banning system. If this doesn't get banned, they might try lengthening the time period they stay logged in to figure out the most efficient pattern that doesn't get banned. Just a guess, though.

They could be farming something that is timed. So to fill the time they have to wait they go get a bit of combat xp..

If jagged bans buyers it will increase the price of gold, it won’t affect the demand for gold though. All it will do is make the gold harder to obtain. They will find a way.
You should check out rs3 bot farms one day, would be interesting to see.

Before Jagex only banned the sellers but if you start banning buyers it can be more effective. If buyers too scarred to buy and risk their acc then they won't buy.
This could potentially be a very good example of machine learning rather than a botter readjusting his program. Of course it's a botter, but I could very well see the program readjusting itself as it's programmed to do.
There’s a lot more bots getting ecu keys now. Struggling to find worlds for myself
I think them banning buyers is a last resort. They tried their damn hardest but it seems like the only way to make another huge hit to the gold selling and ultimately the economy of the game

I don't think targetting the buyers isn't going to help much. I could see the prices of gp going down, but that doesn't really stop botters or gold farmers in the game. I also don't think it would stop people from buying gp either.
I have a tip off about a possible bot farm.
I usually play in the 480 worlds, my fav briny 485 and when bankstanding at edgeville I frequently see multiple accounts tele I’m wearing Corp gear, and they all move as a unit, bank, and Tele out assumingly back to Corp

buyers will be fine unless you are getting traded 500m+ from a level 3. It would be hard to detect RWT if an account with high total and active use trades another account with high total and active use + boss kills on both.
But when they bust a seller and look at the trade history on that account, they all fall.
@@darkphase90 still would be hard, what if its a pker that got a 400m max kill at rev caves and doing 50m splits for each person that contributed OR 200m split for the tber. That can't be flagged as rwt
Been killing the lava dragon bots alot lately. Followed a few aswell. they walk north out of the dragon area then West then south to the black chin area before teleporting.
The mithril-wearing bots at chaos druids are apparently not programmed enough to pick up grimy ranarrs. I'm next to one right now. It hasn't logged out, and its leaving all drops. W422.
I saw those sand crab bots chopping willows in draynor doing the same exact thing, chop 1 tree and logout, then the next one logs in
Can't Jagex track logouts that occur just as someone logs in? I'm sure if this pattern repeats itself multiple times, the chance of that account being a bot, must increase quite a bit in certain areas (outside the wilderness).
I mean a lot of people are also farming at different points and logout whenever they see someone as well. Good idea but hard to impliment

Also, you can take them to a potato or onion farm etc and say "pick potato" and they'll clear the whole field.
I've tried trading them better weapons and armour but they don't accept the trade.
Have you ever considered that some of these bot farms might be bait to distract from more hidden bot farms?

the chaos druid bots are most likely made to be sold the reason for all the random stats is they will swap tasks every so often to stay undetected
Dude I've seen that bot farm at ogre enclave like 5 years ago, that is an ancient script likely has brought millions of bones into other game over the years
I use to troll those blue drag bots years ago. Lure a dragon to them, attack them, and they don’t reset to a safe spot. Then off the dragon, and it attacks the now vulnerable bot. Often they die.

Those bots from Sand crabs have the same behavior of a tip off I sent in with screen shots of accs in mithril killing a few hill giants on f2p worlds and then logging after a few kills.

I've been seeing lots more corp bots that wear karils top and bottom with dragon boots, spear, oby capes and a random helm
bro i made on my cb 115 so much gold over 2B from hard work and many hours of bossing and i hate to see those cb 84-90+ with full bandos full gear and obsidian cape with no skills trained obv gold buyers but. its still there u can always buy gold from jagex with bonds... still gold buying

I've seen the sand crab bots thousands of times. Some with mith scim some with Addy. Never can figure out what they are doing.
Have you noticed the similar type of bots killing the aviansies at the Wilderness God Wars Dungeon ? They are all around level 86-90 and drop a ton of adamant bars.

Some players want a piece of the bond action. Would it really be so bad if players could trade in a bond for like $1. Jagex gets their profit and the players have a driven economy. Maybe not all players, make an application process for people in less fortunate countries.

if Jagex kills gold buying the entire market will crash and tbh be a significant strike against the money jagex is making off the game considreing when people have bot farms and they put membership on them . its either gonna spike the bots bc they can buy gold cheaper or its gonna clean out a nice profit for Jagex

What is there to think about them banning purchasers too? Is there a world where we believe they've only just came up with that? They have intentionally ignored them because it keeps the game a hefty percentage more relevant than it otherwise would've stood. Its most likely not gonna do much either way
Supply side economics doesn't work in the real world. It clearly doesn't work well in virtual worlds. Addressing demand seems like an excellent idea.

the Skele wyverns are full every world with bots with over 99 in the combat styles they are using some of them at like 55m exp from using shared on whip. The ones at chaos druids look similar to them just without the 72 slayer. They also use melee and range bots

Burying overflow dragon bones is probably anti detection. It mimics player behavior. For example i always bury overflow bones because otherwise its exp waste.
I love how pugs videos are a vibe on its own. 25buttholes does it now but I like the seriousness of this. The fact you get response from jagex too makes it another wave
