@@Stealthful_ It seems they did. Though we have to wait and see how it plays out. But the Patch Note states ejects were improved, reaching further distances, allowing Basim to scale up buildings faster.
@@shmixedNshmooved yes that's true. Also, I'd like to point out that the ejects in Mirage (most especially with the mod used in the video) makes it so much more responsive. So, It feels better than Syndicate, which is more unresponsive to me.
Syndicate had enough going for it in the environment. The parkour was insanely limited. While Unity was always guessing what would you do and provide inconsistent results and result in whackyness, Syndicate is a complete opposite. Unless you are in the exact condition that the devs wanted you to be - you could not do anything. It would literally stop you in your tracks and you could not traverse the environment in ways that you could do in every single game in the franchise. Jumping off ledges was the most obvious, but once you start paying attention that stuff is everywhere. It easily makes it the least usable parkour in the series.
I just hope that the devs see the mod and do something similar on an update, modders just changed the values and it already have fixed a lot of the limitations of this parkour system.
You can already eject if your hands are higher than the target, but if at least it was at the same height, as it was in the first 4 games would already help a lot.
Since it's a cheat table, I recommend turning down a little the eject jump height parameter, I've several of these videos now and I think that the default value makes the jumps look a little unrealistic. Just a side note, the video is great though!
They feel like Unity's ejects because they are more contextual than the Gen 7 games. It's like a mix between Unity and the Gen 7 games because in Unity you can just hold down sprint and do these side hops while in the older games you have to hold right trigger and press A. In Unity, and in Mirage, you can press B or A to do a side hop downwards or upwards, so it's really a mix.
Thank you! You can jump from any height. Jumping doesn't have a dedicated button though, for manual jumps. The mod is available thanks to Jintohaku on nexusmods.
@@augustoduranti212 Nah you can jump from any height. He won't instantly leap of a high building if you don't hold down the parkour button, but you can always force him to jump. And even better news: Catch Ledge works fairly consistent, so you can go for some crazy stuff, too.
Check out the latest Patch coming today, Version 1.0.6 The Patch Note states Ejects have been improved, having larger reach to make Basim able to scale up buildings faster.
This is so much more pleasing to look at.
feels like Prince of Persia 😅
Gives me those vibes too.
That mod just made mirage one of the better movement systems of series. Modders are always a step ahead of companies haha.
💯Ubisoft has to add this in an update.

@@Stealthful_They did. They returned side and back ejects recently
@@shoutamagatsuchi3076 yup.
This is better than Syndicate's parkour in a lot of ways in my opinion.
Agreed, but Syndicate was straight up losing due to lack of creative level design. Not enough locations to even test what's possible in that game

The world design is the best assassin creeds ever seen, real shame they dropped the ball on everything else.
The world design is amazing.
Holding my breath for Version 1.0.6 coming out today. Ejects that gain height in an environment like that is just so much juice.

The mod turned Mirage Basim into the absolute tank Basim from Valhalla.
Unity did not have these kind of ejects. These are more like ps3 era

Do you think Ubisoft let this game can be mod by modders?
Yes. Ubisoft Bordeaux's (Mirage's) creative director reacted to this mod positively.
Is the jump still free? like jump from any height you want and so that the character does not block automatically, nice video and mod btw

How the game should’ve been at launch. Unfortunately on console though so this doesn’t benefit me anyway
Hopefully, they'll implement it in the future if the bigger Assassin's Creed content creators promote this mod.

Yes, it's linked in the description.
What did you change the script to in cheat engine?

For me it's fine as it is, but with this mod used in this video you can change Basim's sprint speed too - which I kept the same.
why does the guy say "I'm going to f*** it" at 0:13
