I just bought a 14 ltz with all the options and it doesn't have this! Luckily I enabled the cooled seats on remote start up but I was hoping for this on hot days when I wasn't planning on driving right away. I'm curious what options packages did get this feature.
So I just bought a 2019 tailboss and can get them down but cant get them to go up..manual said they do...going to the delership to check this out..thank for the vid and nice truck man!
@@gen1f69 if there’s a kid in my truck someone got some explains to do cuz I ain’t got no kid and most trucks vehicles like mine have safety’s now a days to prevent that. If it senses too much closing pressure the motor will stop and go back down.
@@Billy-hx3zi I know right? My 2014 High Country doesn't have it. I checked into it and It also lacks the ability to update the software without changing out the system. People saying that it's due to the lower class editions are incorrect. I believe it's the time of year it was manufactured.

@@ScouserTech man mine is a black on black 2015 ltz crew cab..I spent a few years finding exactly the right one..found mine with only 9,000 miles (last December!) And jumped on it .. I wanted all black partially due to keeping it clean, as I'm always greasy and dirty lol .. It's great, except for the white stitching on the steering wheel lol
I disabled mine because we are in a winter climate and you don't want to accidentally have the windows rolled down when it's snow and Sub-Zero out.....or rain too
Dave, if you take it in to the dealer and have the system updated it will add this feature. They should do that for free. I just had mine done and came across the new feature but had to find this video to figure out how to use it.

My 2014 LTZ doesn’t have these options! How do I even get this update?! I wanna be able to use Apple CarPlay and other stuff. As well as the window operation
My radio on my 2018 Silverado came on when I unlocked it the other day, is there a hidden combination to do that or was it a fluke? Non remote start key fob.
I'm just looking for the trick to auto windows from the window buttons we know you can do it with the keyfob so they all have the option but what's the trick to activate the option to the buttons
@ScouserTech no the window buttons on each door if you can auto down with the keyfob you should be able to auto down with each door button on each window
What about all the older trucks suburbans windows won't open without a key. And with kids in vehical ? is so stupid and why did the ADT allow these manufactures to make this crap ? Chevy is the worst electrical, ground wire corrosion, dash lights and cluster, brake line rust lawsuit, keyswitch disastor they lied about the deaths like who cares. Now the newer trucks/ suburbans AC fail..

Cool seats would be amazing. I’m surprised LTZ didn’t get it but could just be the firmware that the trucks got

I agree completely! Living in the south, I put my windows down during the day. In the evening I have to go out to the truck and put them back up! Why?
Because you don't have to worry about crushing a kids head in the window when you roll them down............

You need to have an edition truck higher than a LT model. Like 4x4, Texas edition, Ltz, Z71, and high country.
my all star lt model does it.
I have a 14 LTZ Z71 and it does not have it (does have the large touch screen)

How did you disable it because I’m having problems when I’m at work my windows rolled down by there self I don’t even touch the key fob
I believe ur talking about a 15 and newer. As the radio u show wasn’t stock to a 14.

My 2014 has the 8" screen and its stock. Still have not checked if mine has the window option yet

My 2014 high country doesn't have that option it has it for the heated and cooled seats tho
So wish I had the heated and cooled seats on the 2017. Such an awesome feature. I did have heated seats on my 2016 though.

Sadly it doesn’t go back up with the remote. Just to air it all out before you get in. Sorry wish it did as well

Not available in settings on 15, 2500. Texas is way too hot not to have this feature.
