Congratulations on the Duck Lore series and to the cute retriever on her first speckled goose. Thank you for helping spread the word about Delta's conservation work, importance of the prairie pothole region (PPR,) and the joys of being a duck hunter.
Hope you enjoyed North Dakota. I love it when North Dakota is featured because we are so full guys! Also, Snort is tough as nails, love the name and her tenacity.
I went on my first Nodak Waterfowl hunting trip just a few weeks after this hunt, based on Cal's podcast. It was quite dry but saw a jawdropping amount of birds out there. Every waterfowler should have this place on their list!
Opening day this year we saw so many birds it was unreal. Shooting time started at 654 am 4 guys done by 705 am lol . I couldn't imagine having this many birds as are in this video this is just madness
Hope FL produces a fowl camo more for the Arkansas timber and East Tx ox bows type hunts. Like the pattern just wish it was darker kinda like bottomland or timber. Own several articles of FL clothing for deer hunting and love it!
Yea I’m probably gonna get mostly first lite for waterfowl depending on how it does. But for my timber hunts (I hunt about 50/50 timber and Marsh) I’ll get a Sitka jacket.
Maybe I’m alone on this but in my opinion most waterfowl shows sucks. I’ve hunted waterfowl my entire life and I never feel like the show captures what waterfowl hunting really is. It’s usually a massive hunt with a bunch of guys in a pit blind with cook stoves and a thousand decoys and unlimited ammunition. But that just isn’t real for most of us! The meat eater duck hunting series capture what real duck hunting is to me. This series and your other one with Jean Paul are brilliant. Thank you.
Could you guys make a video of a bare bones or "raw" duck hunt ? I've always wanted to get into duck hunting but everyone says it's to expensive. I think a video like this could get a lot more people into the sport :)
You truly don’t need much. Waders are helpful, but not necessary if you’re hunting in a spot where you can get by with hip boots, 1/2 doz good decoys, a good spot, and mediocre calling. That’s really it
It’s VERY good. If you like ducks and geese, you’ll absolutely love crane. My brother and I killed a few on a goose hunt one year, he tried a breast, now we go crane hunting every year as a family.
Great vid guys, man I feel your hurt with the cold. We’ve been getting super cold weather here too like in the 20’s with hard 30 mph winds!!! What global warming man?!?!
if you guys had a better hide, those geese would center you much better. The number one important thing in waterfowl hunting is the hide. Everything else is secondary
Didn’t u hunt in kidder county Bc my grandpas neighbor we call him dr. Duck said if you guys can’t find a good field you might hunt on my grandpas pond
Poor dog. I’ve got bit on a hunting trip. Long story, I died once, air plane ride, helicopter ride, 3 deferent hospital’s and 800,000$ bill. Good hunting guys. Thanks for sharing.
I love that UA-cam chose a beyond meat commercial for me staring Kim kardashian during a hunting show. I especially loved her telling me fake meat with a thousand ingredients is “better for you”. What a dumpster fire of a world it’s becoming.
Go, Snort! Got unusually invested in her story after listening to the podcast about all she went through. Good dog.
Cal talks about it on the meat eater podcast
She's a star, for sure.
Great to see Cal’s enthusiasm watching his dog work. Liking the series!

I’m absolutely eating these up, that last hunt looked like a riot. Awesome work Sean.
Some day I hope to be on a hunt where I see that many birds, lol. So happy to see a waterfowl series.
You ain’t kidding! I’ve had one hunt with crazy amounts of birds and it was geese. I doubt I’ll ever experience that again
Duck hunting is just aggressive birdwatching. Lol love this series, also glad your pup is okay after her bite.
Looks like a boat load of fun, doesn’t get much better than that
that goose's head popping back up and running off was hilarious! Quick reflexes there Cal
With Callahan shouting ‘Snort!’ makes it even funnier
Snort is the greatest addition to the crew since Cal
So glad to see you Bench Snort on the crane hunt, so many hunters don't appreciate the risk a wounded crane poses to a hunting dog.
Hope you enjoyed North Dakota. I love it when North Dakota is featured because we are so full guys! Also, Snort is tough as nails, love the name and her tenacity.
also, Whopping Cranes I've heard are the prime rib of the sky. just imagine how I feel w all that prime rib flying over head.
When I see mr Callaghan I know I will be learning something today
Thank you 🙏🏽
Cal, Snort is a once in a lifetime dog. Cherish her and the adventures you have together.
Yep. Y’all are doing a great job with all these new series. Keep ‘em coming. Can’t get enough.
Excellent team work. Love and blessings from Ontario Canada!
Ryan is comedy Gold! "all stuff found around here.. didn't break the budget" lol! Best hunting content on youtube, keep it up boys.
Pretty awesome. Loved it all, especially the last segment. I love gadwalls. Grey ducks are just beautiful to me.

I will be heeding your advice! Maybe a couple future vids in the next few years on my channel
Nice to get a look at the new waterfowl line up coming out
Crushing the duck videos. Keep it going
Finally something decent. Feels like ages since we seen cal or Steve.
Welcome to North Dakota fellas. Truly a beautiful state.
This story was well done.
Love the episode! Absolutely one of the best hunting shows out there
Great video, loved that is wasn't just about shooting but also included conservation and education aspects with the video.
All day. Great episode.
Nice hunting, blinds and nest too.
Loving this series!! now that season is over i need my fix!
You sound like me, eat sleep and breathe it all year round haha
@@NewDivideOutdoors you know it! sitting here with my Lab looking at snow goose hunts haha
Love seeing that first lite in use, cant wait to grab some.
incredible ep
Amazing as always!
A. W. E. S. O. M. E. More, please :). Ducks rule!
I was taught to let the first ones land because they are the scouts and they bring in the big flock. Nice shooting.

Finally a good look at the FL waterfowl gear!! Looks sweet
We take care of 2 dozen wood duck houses 🏘 and we are amazed at the success rate.
Loving this new series!
I love the videos and watch as many as time will allow. You guys should do a guns of meat eaters. A special on the premium firearms you use
This was a rad hunt! 🤙🤘🤘
I can feel that numbing north wind just watching.. haha
looks like I'm building a hen house this season.. thanks for the pro tip 👌
Love these videos😁👌🏼🦆
LOVE DUCK HUNTING WITH ALL MY HEART
I love these videos😁👌🏼🦆

I'm not sure why I torture myself watching waterfowl hunting videos.

I love my state and I don’t think people born and raised here know how special of a place it is.
Seeing numbers like this, it's hard to believe that they were hunted to the brink less than 100 years ago.
Great series so far, it's just missing the cooking portion of it!
Love duck hunting vids
How can I buy Cal's crane slayer hat? Don't see it on First Lite. 21:07
I don't know how many times I've had geese playing dead and then getting up and running for it as soon as I turn my back
Looks like a riot!
Ok at 8:27 I died lol. Great job Cal!
another great episode. Is it September yet??? Love watching a dog work
Great video!
Great video
Is Snort part of the MeatEater crew? I would like to see a bio of Snort soon!!
What Speck call are you guys blowing? And Cal keep up the enthusiasm with Snort. I love your podcast!!!!
Muy buenas cazerias amigos saludos chebres caza 👍
Love the new typha
Need to see a darker pattern for timber and buck brush along with some waders and ill be sold on FL!
Snorts back in action
Seeing the new First Lite waterfowl pattern in corn stubble looks pretty dark. Especally against cattails. Be good for buck brush or willows
You should do more stuff in north dakota
CAL GOT A DOG! MY MAN!
We also need to get more crp back in the state. But North Dakota has some of the lowest crp prices in the nation.
I really liked your channel and subscribed. Because, like me, you share videos with shotkam content. I'm waiting for your channel. Thanks
What ammo were the guys shooting? Anybody catch it?
I spy the new first lite water fowl line
We need more Snort!!

My first season all I had was a shotgun, shells, and a $20 walnut Faulk's call. Jumped some ducks, called a few in, fun times.
Cal is the only one who will have his hearing later in life…gotta use ear pro.
SNORT!
Finally. FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY. I love this show. so much. Just curious, why didn't you just grab those Canada's out of the back of the blind? 🙂
I would like to know more about the Crane Meat.
Nice Hunt Guys🙌🐦.
JO JO IN VT 💕😄☃

Thank you, it sounds Yummy!
JO JO IN VT 💕😄☃
More snort pls
Dying to know what shot they used that could flip between ducks and geese like that.
@Sean Weaver Thanks Sean!
How are you liking that gear you’re wearing?
@Sean Weaver i’m ready to see those waders up close. I almost went with the Chene’s but I wanna see what my boys at First Lite have to compare.
What’s up Cal!
Bravo…
Great vid guys, man I feel your hurt with the cold. We’ve been getting super cold weather here too like in the 20’s with hard 30 mph winds!!! What global warming man?!?!
Keep following your nose boyz!

Hello hello hello hello "echoes fade"
Please subtitles in Spanish saludos desde chile 🇨🇱🇨🇱
Saludos🤗
Central or eastern ND?
When will be Steve appear again?
He is too busy rolling around in Peter Chernin's money while they push an unconstitutional agenda together.
I guess I'm a poor man. Grey ducks(gadwall for you yankees) are the money ducks in Southern Louisiana
Didn’t u hunt in kidder county Bc my grandpas neighbor we call him dr. Duck said if you guys can’t find a good field you might hunt on my grandpas pond
Canada Goose? You guys bring silver bullets? Those things are basically demon spawn up here.
He said 4 to 4 1/2 ducklings hatch a year 🤨🤣
Poor dog. I’ve got bit on a hunting trip. Long story, I died once, air plane ride, helicopter ride, 3 deferent hospital’s and 800,000$ bill. Good hunting guys. Thanks for sharing.
I hope your insurance covered you
Yep 80% and they wrote the rest of it off and I had AFLAC so I got paid when I was off work
I love that UA-cam chose a beyond meat commercial for me staring Kim kardashian during a hunting show. I especially loved her telling me fake meat with a thousand ingredients is “better for you”. What a dumpster fire of a world it’s becoming.
As a farmer and hunter, please do not bring kochia weeds into the field from field edge! Please!
Algorithm defeated
I was going to be productive and then…
🇪🇨🇪🇨💯👍
