Layout, absence of wireless and no light color option makes it kinda obsolete (weird situation compared Air60v2). HE low profile switches alone - means there will be other keyboards or, hopefully, NuPhy versions. PS Nice and concise review! Thank you so much.
this keyboard is amazing(received it today), there is 2 con for me tho: 1- very hard to find nice keycaps...basicly no one make keycaps for this keyboard,i wanted something else than the gray original keycaps. 2- cant set per key RGB is wild in 2024... i really enjoy using a bright different color for my WASD... but no option for that
press FN while using wasd or create a "layer" (VIA app / QMK program). A layer reassigns the literal keycap symbols and produces a whole new keyboard inside your existing one. For example, you could have a regular numeric pad in the middle of your keyboard, have a game pad, a mouse and what not.
Fun fact it is not the first lowprofile layout another keyboard called zenaim that goes for 250-500$ that is lowprofile and TKL none the less the nuphy is a good keyboard coming from a wooting user.
NuPhy's stated latency for the Air60 HE is 0.125ms which is the same as what Asus states for the Ace HFX. Only an actual test of each will determine which one is lower since the manufacturers use their own methods and can be different. I usually reference rtings.com for latency tests because they use a consistent process and proper equipment for measuring latency (which I do not have). The Air60 HE just became available and I do not see a review/test for the HFX on rtings.com yet but hopefully they will check out both! For reference NuPhy's Field75 HE stated a latency of 0.5ms and the rtings.com test came back at 0.8ms. The Field75 HE has the same polling rate of 8k but a lower PCB scan rate than the Air60 HE.
You've got no idea what a programmable keyboard is, right? The keys aren't in the explicit layout, but OF COURSE they are usable by means of FN key or specific layers. Go check out QMK and VIA
bro what, it's not a mouse, you don't have to move it permanently to use it, wireless keyboard just does not make any sense if what you want is good performance
UPDATE: Nuphy.io now has macro support, so that is no longer a downside for the Air60 HE!

I love your content!
I cant wait to get my hands on this
Have you ever reviewed the iqunix magi65
Are he switches/pcbs future proof like regular switches? I don't think so.

i wish they made a halo75 or something with these switches and software it would be soo good!!!
good video i like your review. i am currently thinking about getting the air 75
they also come out with a 75% of the NuPhy Air
Please review ATK 75 Magnetic Switch keyboard.
How do you use the arrow keys on wasd?

No arrow keys on an HE keyboard? Wut?
TKL 8k?? How fast is the latency?ACE ROG HFX is the fastest

Nuphy stabs have never been great. I was hoping they would have improved for this release.
the perfect keyboard until there was no arrow or f keys 😢

No ISO no point, probably not in stock anyway.
NuPhy is not the brand for ISO anyway though sadly
saw bro on multiple videos damn
I must confess, I exit the videos the second I hear "wired only". Love your content though.

Legitimately what is the appeal of a wireless keyboard?
