You forgot the Hisuian pokeballs as well
1st reply
That's what I was thinking
And the fact that the raid chain was created in hisui.
The red chain isn't a pokeball. Do you mean the origin ball?
@@Malcolm-iv4td no, I'm pretty sure he's talking about the new ones in legends arceas
Are we forgetting about the Poke Ball used by a young Oak?
Kanto is just slow
@@justadel2 or oak was dirt poor as a kid cause like the ones in hisui seem more advanced
@@insanitysymphony9175 maybe both
Yeah
@insanitysymphony9175 though the Sinnoh, or Hoenn games happen around the same time as Red and Blue and they are fare more advanced
GS Ball, Oak’s Ball, and the entirety of the Hisuian Balls…
The hisuian balls were the apricorn balls that started being made about 150 years ago he just showed the modern ones. This still goes with the timeline since the legends arceus games take place around the late 1800’s.
beast ball?
@@echo-048 I had to look it up to confirm cus I didn't know that Legends was 1800s (wiki says around 1860s), I thought it was like 1500s or something but I guess that shows/corresponds that Japan was only an advanced country only recently.
@@Zivin Yeah most people aren't as familiar with japanese history lol they had samurai until the 1870s
What about the ancient pokeballs from the most recent Pokémon series
That pokelantis pokeball is literally just a millenium item. It even had the spirit of an ancient king in it!
The millennium ORB
Wha you don't know is that i can see every carbon your hand yugi boy
A millennium item. Like Yu-Gi-Oh? 😅
@@Medabee8 lol, yeah.
@@Medabee8 no its digimon ball z
Spiritomb, 107 souls, the last soul couldn’t pay rent and was kicked out
Oh thank gods I wasn’t the only one who noticed that
He said it can hold 107 souls before being corrupted. The 108th soul corrupts the keystone and creates spiritomb
@@Rex_o_roarso spiritomb is just all of them creating that 1 pokemon? Cool never knew that I stopped playing since gen 3 I played 4 but never knew the lore
You forgot the steampunk one that young oak used in the fourth movie
Forth movie third was entei
What about the dark one from the celebi movie?
Not only did you forget about young Professor Oak’s ball, but you also forgot about the Red Chain from the Hisuian Region (which was BEFORE Team Galactic).
Not only that, but Magearna too which was an ancient pokeball😊😊
He said Pokéballs were once made using the shells of Apricorns, these being from Legends Arceus.
@@rdurkin08 I wasn’t talking about the Pokeball’s that were used by the player. I was talking about the RED CHAIN. He implied that (modern) Team Galactic made the chain, but it was also in the Hisuian period
@@NikFromm The player also uses the red chain to make a Cherish Ball to catch Origin Dialga or Palkia in PLA.
@@rdurkin08 But the Red Chain ITSELF wasn’t made by Team Galactic (or at least not the modern version as he implied).
It's non canon, but i love how pokemon conquest just has you make an emotional connection with the mon; no ball needed
I feel like each region thought of their own way of creating pokeballs until one version took over
Don't forget the darkball from the 4ever movie and the pokéball that was used for a deceased Ninetales in Johto
Pokémon Horizons has some sort of cool ancient pokéball.
Lmao I like how he basically put Dialga and palkia in arceus’ ring however it looks more like one of those baby cart things
You forgot about the ol’ bat and burlap sack trick that was used before poke balls
The red chain is older then modern day pokeballs
I wish they kept creating tattooed variants like giant jigglypuff and alakazam, tattoos are more popular now than ever ya know.
Petition to add markings to paradox (ancient) Pokemon
Not in japan
Sukuna lookin ahh
There are 108 souls in the odd keystone
He said it can hold 107 souls before being corrupted. The 108th soul corrupts the keystone and creates spiritomb
Pokeballs before the modern one are incredible~
There was also a different type of pokeball in that one episode where the ninetails's master dies and it tries to make brok stay with her cause he looks similar to her master .
Plot twist: more dual type species of voltorb and electrode exsist because if they resemble pokeballs how about the old ones they couldve resembled
No...
...k fine..
The fuck dose this mean
Try a _does_ of comprehension
@@V4inShadow try and make your sentences less wordy

@@V4inShadow how would reading a thing fully make it less wordy
The first V-Max Pokemon
The soul crystal thing is literally just an eldari mind stone from warhammer
Biblically accurate Pokéballs
FunFact: In the Manga, PokéBalls are Originally See through to be able to know what Pokémon you are pulling out.
Dear Game freak:
*MAKE THE APRICORN BALLS MORE EASILY AVAILABLE*
That giant claydol probably exposed to dynamax
I just want to know about the Torterra Gardens in the recent episodes of Pokemon
Dude made the infinity gauntlet poke version💀
just wait for it until they transition from using pokeballs to summoning them from cards and an egyptian Pharaoh joins the mix
The giant claydoll ball was a core memory as a kid
Love how he ignores the actual games but uses tons of fire from the anime
"Pokemon Polis" You uh wanna read that one again?
I use the Mario coin sound for my notifications so this video had me confused for an entirely separate reason.
Man ... The pokeballs have some weird lore lol
More please, also talk more about put those GIANT big boys, what item would be used to contain the Giant Dragonite?
I thought pokeballs was technology but seeing all this... I'm starting to think it's just some form of magic.
You forgot the steampunk ball from Pokémon 4ever.
Electrode: So... I'm not really...
Gamefreak: Well... No. we're sorry Electrode.
History of poke me balls. Sounds fun
you forgot some pokeballs and committed the unforgivable sin of making an infinite loop at the end of a short
This was honestly good lore I did not know
Now there is new history,in Pokemon horizon, metal weighted pokeball
Origin ball: am I a joke to you?
The one in the Celebi movie was a windup 🤣🤣🤣
If you rub the ball monsters come out
So Pokeballs CAN capture humans.
The red chain looks like arceus bars
Me, who knows nothing about Pokemon: yes, I totally understand this.
I have a fan story heavily utilizing dream sequences to reveal something about a character. It's a medieval fantasy/fairy tale AU where, at the beginning of the story, something horribly traumatic happened to the protagonist Seto's bratty stepbrother Noah, that prompts a complete 180 in personality - hes more polite and timid, stops bullying Seto and Mokuba, develops a phobia of being touched, starts compulsively doing strange things like pacing back and forth in the corridors after breakfast, staring off into space, and sleeping on the floor, and becomes terrified of his father (whom he previously adored) out of nowhere. Through some kind of magic, Seto starts experiencing Noah’s nightmares of the ordeal that allow readers - and more importantly Seto himself - to piece together what exactly happened, because Seto's job is going to be deciding whether to ignore what he knows and leave Noah to his trauma with the comfor that he was kind of a jerk and probably deserved it, or to help Noah on the road to recovery.
But when did Pokeball technology become advanced enough to catch rice balls?!?!?!
Jigglypuff and Alakazam looking like they ate sukuna's finger 😂
Jigglypuff looking like Sukuna
So it was wizards, I knew it!
I remember a time where we had pokeball called a darkball.
Red chain is so dumb, everyone knows that what lets you use your pokemon at full potential is love.
i love balls pause
The Ancient Giant Pokémon look like sukuna lol
Don't also forget about the Rocket Ball thats used to corrupt Pokémon in 4Ever
I can't pay attention to this SHORT because of the Star Fox track xD
The most dangerous pokeball - Mewtwo's pokeball
It can capture any pokemon when they are in the pokeball
Team galactic didn't make the red chain, the red chain existed long before team galactic
The first one was gigantamax before gigantamax was a thing for me as a kid.
trying to explain the history and lore of these Pokéballs
I called them reckon
Ancient monk: "Hey, I made a keystone to contain all those evil spirits."
Other ancient monk: "Are you sure that's gonna be enough?"
First ancient monk: "No worries, it can contain up to 107 evil spirits."
Third ancient monk: Walks in with 108 evil spirits.
Legends Arceus: Am I a joke to you …😢
Magearna: am I a joke?
Basically, there were many ways and items to capture or hold pokemon.
Can't imagine a pokemon being stuck in pokeball for years without anyone ever releasing it that sucks.
Capsule ball? With the screw top? Anyone? Seen in pokemon forever.
So we’re not counting the poke ball from “Pokémon 4Ever”
Did y'all know the original design was the top piece sliding back halfways instead of open like a chest
The fun and scary fact is if pokemon caught with pokeball the pokemon is immortal if no one use and after 1000-2000 years we see that pokemon is alive
And you forgot Samuel Oaks Poke balls, that you had to wind up first from Pokemon 4ever.
You like only touched the surface my guy
But how do they work?
Yes.
You forgot the legendary poke balls
Danm it, now I wanna play Pokémon
In childhood of drayden there were no pokeballs
So when we’re the hisuian pokeballs made
And here I was expecting him to talk about poke, great, ultra and the masterball 😅
Pokemon arceus just changed all that 😂
Enchanted crystals? Pokémon Réburst spotted?!?!
I just realized that since the Booster Energy in Scarlet and Violet looks like that first totem (Cylindrical core, a protruding cap at each end, orb of unknown substance in the center), the Booster energy is probably designed after an *urn*
God dammit, game freak…
I really want them to bring back the apricot balls
You also forgot the Poké balls from the one celibe movie where you had to manually twist them up
This was brought up in a different comment, but Beast Balls are actually the most recent. The Red Chain was created in Hisui. However the Beast Ball was created in Alola very recently
We also have Roys new hero balls used by the ancient hero
And to think that legends isn't the earliest ones. Crazy
Technically, palkia and dialga didn't reach their full potential with the red chain with Cyrus.
Technically spiritomb was the culmination of 108 spirits that were sealed away
Missing literally all the major ones lol
Every single comment forgetting about the Old Balls from Celebi:Voice of the Forest movie
Professor okk child time used pokeball is important
A reminder that Unova most likely did not use pokeballs or even have pokeballs cor a majority of its existence. We know this because of a line said by Drayden; "When I was little, Poké Balls didn't exist yet. Sometimes Pokémon would run away from awful Trainers who didn't try to understand them."
I love how 20 000 yrs ago yada yada yada yet they didnt know pokemon laid eggs till gen 2.
You forgot the balls in pokemon 4ever with celebi. The one that kid had with him.
Legend arceas
Ash always catching some bad shit 😂😂😂
You forgot the Old Ball, which was used between the apricorn balls and modern poke balls.
Forgot the hisui balls, the ancient ball that held rayquaza in horizons, the steampunk ball that oak had, the mewtwo balls…
Would be cool to have a series about a caveman and his Pokemon and see how he got his first pokeball👍
