As harsh as he was, he was absolutely right. Divorce is almost never a kids fault, but these two were entirely to blame for driving their parents crazy and turning them against each other.

I've never seen another movie that made the entire theatre laugh for the full duration. I remember my chest was sore for a few hours after I saw that flim in the theatre
Zoolander, Mr. Deeds, Anger Management, Starsky & Hutch, Dodgeball, Talladega Nights, Step Brothers, and Hang-over, were some of the peak 2000 comedy films.

I will forever have the opinion that Will Ferrell or John C. Reilly or both should have received Oscar nominations for this movie. Dead serious. Will Ferrell crying is some of the greatest comedic acting I've ever seen.
You are making a good point here. Comedy requires great acting. A lot of comedy actors transitioned easily from comedy to drama and delivered great performances (Tom Hanks, Robin Williams). Very few drama actors managed the opposite. Robert de Niro comes to mind. Comedy acting is greatly under-appreciated. Comedy acting requires intelligence, great timing and craft.
