Not putting all your eggs in the UA-cam basket is the smartest comment I've heard from any 'tuber in years. There's nothing to say that UA-cam won't decide to change their business model tomorrow and end compensation... Customers have to come first! Love the videos. Love the randomness of what project is on the plate each week. Keep it up!
If youtube decided to end compensation for content providers, youtube would end up with a lot less content to sell commercials in... Bad business youtube.
I can’t speak for anyone else but I enjoy watching the customer builds and tunes, I’ve learned a lot watching you troubleshoot while tuning on customer cars.
Your drive and motivation is incredible. Not getting sucked into full time UA-cam but making sure the shop is still a shop and to make time for content we all enjoy. Well done sir, I tip my hat to you 👏👏
I’ve always loved the Fasterproms UA-cam channel. The flaw in this channel is that when things break they just disappear and by doing so people feel disconnected. People will feel better connected if you take the audience along as part of the “Adapt and Overcome” journey. Right Jeremy?
I agree but like he mentioned.. the future of UA-cam could change overnight and them focusing on their business is the smartest thing to focus on.. if they can’t work on customer cars they can’t make UA-cam videos...
@@steveg2277 because fasterproms is the only content creator on UA-cam. People come to their website to watch this stuff, ofc their making money off him.
I've always thought it strange creators imagined they must upload daily or weekly or they lose people, I am still subscribed to people who haven't posted in over a year and if they drop a video tomorrow I would watch it lol
@Jeff Rock I think he means that with certain viewpoints you're at risk of being demonetized or outright removed, so they have to have other things (like the shop) stay as a top priority. That's just my guess though.
Appreciate you all putting out videos while running a business there! Project cars are hard! otherwise everyone would be driving AWD S10 race trucks. (Well, me anyway). Stay well! 🙏
My favorite build on the channel and not just because I’ve sat in it. Shout out to Jeremy and the guys for being super nice and putting out awesome content.
We do not have air boats up here in the Northeast. Well I'm sure some guy has one somewhere but it's Pretty cool they are everywhere down there and you have the opportunity to tune them. Keep up the good work Jeremy . Love what you do. Weather you do more UA-cam or do less you are a success no matter what your doing man and your a hell of a guy it seems!
Such is life, don't stress yourself about it. Anyone that has built, or tried to build a vehicle like this. That doesn't have a massive R&D facility behind them. Will completely understand that this is part of the process. Also thanks for not hiding the fact that your going to hit challenges like this. Its good for the young guys and people that are frustrated working on their own projects. To see that This is not TV. Problems like this take time to resolve, and other parts of the business come first, such is the way of life.
Don't give up, the S10 build is cool but complicated. High power with awd and manual like the Hoonitruck is cool, and worth waiting for. I also hope uncle Sam stays manual too to drift with. God bless y'all and greetings from Holland
The fact that you guys make as many videos as you do and have as many projects as you guys do its inspirational honestly. Plus what project is ever "finished"? Those haters must not have any besides their v6 mustang I'm sure . Keep killing it guys!
All time favorite dime! You guys really did a great job with the build, I love square bodies, my first vehicle was an 88 short bed, owned several since, my current one I've owned the longest which is a 93 2wd ext cab soooo, this s10 made me a huge fan👍🏼
You guys are killing it man, its a great mix of content and you have to do what is best for you and your business. Thanks for taking us along for the ride!!!
Would love to see the SlyClone running again! Super cool homage to the Syclone. The only trans maybe I would recommend as cool factor maybe the 10spd trans or 8 spd. The auto is the better way imo just for the torsion/backlash of AWD + V8. Torque convertor should really help take the sheering forces lower. Keep on Keepin On!
I like learning about 'The Tech Talk'.I'll give you some.I didn't cast axles,I cut all the surfaces ,with CNC's,right through the final bearing surface polishing after hardened.I did S-10 through 1 ton,and the first LTD axles with the last style.(All that Cleetus has). You need at least 3/4 ton axles. The 1 ton are too heavy in the flanges. Please put 3/4 drive-train and transfer case in the truck.
Thank you for the update on the S10 and that airboat looks awesome. Please change the grill on the S10…. I definitely agree with you about Florida. I love seeing how the Gov is setting up FL for tremendous success. Here in SC and it’s starting to change towards the wrong direction for my beliefs. God Bless you and your FasterProm team.
Hope to see the S10 get the finish it deserves, you guys rock. If you go turbo 400 in it, I would swap out that transfer case and go to the 10" SCS drop case. Pricey, but lots of different ratio options so you can play with gears and not have to change gear ratios in the axles. Can't wait to see the end result
Slipper clutch , just too much shock on the whole driveline. imho Fun watching you figure this stuff out but its getting expensive i bet. Just keep moving forward and keep making the great content.
@fasterproms... Just do what you do..I will wait for the S10 to be together.. Like everyone else the sooner the better...I'm excited to see it be"done"

The people saying you dont finish anything dont understand what you do. When do you ever stop making a build better and faster? Keep up the good content
Plz keep the s10 awd!!!! Good things are worth the wait, like u say adapt n overcome, so adapt to weighting and overcome the trans. And complete ur vision.
4wd transfer case and front dif are different then awd front diffs. The 4wd runs a different ratio in the front then the rear. I.E. 4.10 rear 4.11 front. They aren't meant to be used on dry pavement and driven around. Use a AWD setup out of a cyclone or something similar. Might help the parts stop breaking.
Automatic will put the s10 in the 8ish second club no doubt. Loved the quote! "A lie will go around the world 🌎 twice before the truth can lace its boots 👢 up"
TH400 should fit that S10 no problem. I’m one of the few in the T56 AWD game. I started with a V1 CTS-V trans and added an SSR 32 spline main shaft with the same ZO6 trans axle adapter and did the ZO6 1 piece countershaft. I currently have an LS9X clutch but not sure how it’s going to hold up in my 02 Blazer ZR2 behind the 401 gen5 twin turbo setup capable of 1k+ AWHP. NV149 case.
2WD drive it! just to get it mobile for now as you said your fed up with having to push it in and out of the garage, then send the faulty trans away to RPM so that they can take their time to get it properly sorted out for when your ready to go back to AWD 😊
So I was thinking. I see you use a transfercase with 700+ hp, ever thought of looking into the 4wd sand drag scene? There's racer making their own with heavy duty chains and gears, building a case around it.... Food for thought 💁
can you go to something aftermarket like a profab case or? like the cases they put in the mega trucks...JH might have what you need! also sequential shift would be sweet
Completely understandable having to put it on the back burner. Customer cars need attention before us anyways. But we appreciate the update! It's like Brandon and the AK50, might take a few years but when it's done it will all be worth it and then some.
I would absolutely LOVE to see a manual vs automatic in Uncle Sam. Run the absolute fastest time possible with the stick then throw the auto in it and do the same. Then, of course, switch back to the manual!! Love the channel Jeremey, Laz, and Georgie!!
Have you looked at running a divorced transfer case?? Ultra 4 and trophy trucks are running 800 plus horsepower and 40 inch tires with out braking parts awd
