- The HST Turbotuning Audi TT took the record back for the World's quickest AWD Audi in their 1500bhp Audi TT. Running a billet R32 engine, with 88mm Turbo currently running a 3 bar of boost, with more to come, ran an 7.229 @ 181mph on the Friday, at Hal Far Race Way in Malta, which was 7/1000s off the World record set by an Audi S2, with a run of 7.222. Back out on the Saturday they beat that with a run of 7.149 @ 185mph, with just 3.1 bar of boost. How long until we see that 6 second pass???

impressive car well done to the team , glad was there to see this record
Was good to see the record go 💪💪💪
Glückwunsch aus Deutschland.Megamäßig die Zeit.
The speed is incredible but that suspension is out of this world it hardly dips or squats and stays flat and perfectly straight whole run
The whole setup of this car is superb. It just launches and goes down the track like a rocket.
Glückwunsch und Grüße gehen raus ans gesamte HST Team!! 👏...ich denke 2023 fällt die Ziffer vorm Komma!!😉
Great videos as also mate, see you next season bro 👊🏽
Thanks mate. Time for a rest now. Need some more cool locations to go to next year 😎
Thank you, this is a cool car from United Kingdom. Thank you, i'm from Russia
Car is Austrian 💪💪
What a car.
He must be German, he said dank you
Austrian
Glückwunsch und rießen Kompliment an das HST Team. Wahnsinn was ihr da geschafft habt.
Are you sure it's a quattro? Pause at 3:59 to see the engine and front suspension. The engine is longitude mount... Not much space left for the front drive shafts and pinion gear.
I stand corrected. I found the earlier 7.36 second video with better view of the front. I can see the front drive shafts. quattro indeed.
It is a good question, as most Audi's I film at the track warm up the front tyres in the burnout, and I always thought it was because 85% of the power went to the front wheels, before being sent back when grip is lost. So they warm them up to ge the best traction. However this TT warms up the rear tyres only, so maybe its setup more like a Nissan GTR where 98% of the power goes yo the rear wheels first. I will see them next week, so will ask.
Wow, well done!!!
It is an amazing car. It will be in the 6s soon 💪💪
😲😲😲😲😲😲
Such a cool car 😎😎
Heyo nice setup, what about the transmission please sir ? Tough quattro was better for drag race but seems to be a propulsion right ? I'm asking cause having a project and would like to prepare an audi S3 8L quattro or a 4motion golf 4 (Haldex) but dont find enough information about how to reinforce the transmission to avoid it to explode at the start ...
This TT has a VR6 engine, and a clutch-less sequential gearbox (not sure on make of box) - check out HST Turbotuning out on FB
@@VeeDubRacing thx for reply mate
@@Djor31 no worries mate, sorry I don't have the direct answer. You can also Dave at D. H Automotive, he currently has the quickest RS3 in Europe, or RTMG Performance, as they strengthened their gearbox and clutch in their Seat Ibiza that has a EA888 2.0L set up. Both on FB
Yeéeee motors stok ok no boost ok sooo good cars juste one motors ferrarie is ok the time
Faut les dire qu il dise c est un moteur hyper cars sa passe
Malta?
Yes 👍
Engine ?
R32 VR6 engine
@@VeeDubRacing I could hear that this ain't the 5 Cylinder
@@basschannelsa7155 Well noticed 😎 Both are very tuneable engines, and can make big power. Next time I see them, I will ask why they chose the VR6 over the 5cyl.
@@VeeDubRacing I am also Curious, it's the reason why I asked about the engine
@@VeeDubRacing I want to make a guess, this might have been a car with a crashed engine and so they put in a vr6, but I don’t know. Reason I say that is because the 5 cyl is just as capable when built.
Whats the cars specs ?!
only specs I have are in the description details
