Would you say the ski pole is long enough to film yourself without the additional wide lens?

Hey. I've heard many people recommend the insta x4. Would you this is better? It's definitely cheaper.

I havent used the x4 but the x3 is cool. I like the simple workflow of a regular GoPro though. Looks like the hero 13 is currently on sale for $300
