Henry calling oxxy Jura Savagnin chaos is beautiful, charming and hilarious
Scintilla shout out! Great guys
Henry was absolutely chaotic this episode & we loved filming every second of it! 😂
Like the input from a Somm. 👍😊
Definitely legitimises the channel doesn't it?!
@@wineforthepeople why? He offered not one regional or varietal suggestion. It was all aromatics and taste.
@@1949cr Isn't that the most important part though? It's one thing to identify a wine, it's another thing to impart information about it. I suppose when you hit the upper echelon of wine tasting, the identification ceases to be as important as the liquid in the glass.
@@wineforthepeople Don't agree. The varietal, even if wrong, is the missing piece in the jigsaw. Being able to link descriptors to a suggested varietal is excellent learning. Even if wrong.
cool video as always, would be cool if you served the guys older wines from time to time instead of always 2020 vintages, crazy prices you have to pay over there in australia…..
Prices can be pretty crazy at the moment with imported wines, luckily we have a lot of fantastic local producers. We will definitely get some older drops for the future!
Great stuff from Dan, this was a another goodie!
Glad you enjoyed it! Dan is a massive legend & fantastic at what he does🍇
Macvin, a potentially polarising wine, but sure is my jam! Was a shock the first time i tried it, but havig had the opportunity to love in the Jura, I fell in love with the stuff. But sadly it is so expensive here in Aus.
Macvin is traditionally drink as an aperitif.
It's an underrated wine/style, that's for sure!
waiting patiently for you guys to review a Georgian orange wine 😁
Oh don't worry we'll find a way to put one in here eventually!
Really fun channel
Aw shucks! Thank you so much!
And the sommelier identified...???
A quality wine!
