You should checkout Hermann J Weimer from the finger lakes in New York State. They make some world class wines!

Psyched about the possibility of US market wines but thank you so much to sometimes always for getting this rolling!

As a person who actually wrote a 2300-page book on Hungarian wines (in Russian, alas) I am pleased to see a good single vineyard Tokaji Furmint here :)

Haven't you ever heard of Chateau Musar? Lebanon has quite an impressive winemaking history

Am I a bad person for taking pleasure in Henry's frustration?

Banger episode! I’d like to see the boys try some Rioja, Priorat or Ribera. Spanish reds are awesome.

Spot on guys. Our tasting group really enjoys themes for our tastings. Thinking I’ll need to suggest this one….. Having just found your channel it’s been a blast watching a bunch of episodes at a time. Cheers.

@@wineforthepeople region ones work well, we just did a MW exam question tasting, that was humbling for sure, 4 wines, three grapes, had to tell country, appellation, grape, quality, market potential….. SW France was a good one too, lots of styles, and we did a new vs old world one, 6 wines, 3 new world 3 old, two cabs, two chenin two Sauv Blanc. Had to pick old or new…

Barda is a great wine! Last time I was hanging out at a wine bar with some Willamette/Burgundy biased snobby friends in NYC I tricked them while choosing Barda during my turn while blind tasting! They all were so shocked and surprised! Great show as per usual guys!

It's been hit and miss for us - although the hits are HARD and the misses - they're just underwhelming, not really bad wines - most likely, we tasted them too young.

@@wineforthepeople I’ve seen that with other Argentinian PNs. If you’re able to get your hands on Pintom or Pintom Sur please do! Out of this world when they’re hits!

@@wineforthepeople Pintom is grown between 1000 and 1200 meters above sea level and it comes from El Cepillo which is one of the southernmost parts of Mendoza! The winery is called Canopus. Check 'em out!
