  • A Mala in Tibetan is called as Trengwa, which mean union or connected. The beads of mala are connected with each other signifying a unity of Guru and disciple or unity of one’s body, speech and mind with the blessing of Buddha’s enlightenment body, speech and mind. A union or connection can have in different levels as per one’s own levels of practices such as outerly with Kenchosum, (Buddha, Dharma and Sangha); innerly with TsaWaSum, (Lama-Yidam-Khandro); secretly with Tsa Lung Thik sum, (Channel, Wind energy and Essence); and very secretly with Kusum, (Dharmakaya, Sambhogakaya, and Nirmanakaya).
