Can't compare Exactly what you guys do ! But your both topnotch! Entertaining, Educational, show Excellent care and Love of Animals and you show off your Beautiful Contries well !
Thanks for showing me isle of Hoy. What an adventure of travel, rugged terrain and vistas of the sea. The hearty sheep being herded by smart trained dogs and an ancient cairn lined with rocks. What a hole in the earth! Did humans live there? Wow.
Lolol....I have No idea what was said ...most of the time ..but I love the accents so I watch. Your laugh is infectious and makes me laugh, your mostly a funny guy and I can tell the care you gives the animals. Hugs to Lizzie and Jock. Blessings to you and the family 🙏🕊💜🕊
Sometime in the 1800’s my ancestors left Scotland for Canada. The details are lost in time but memory must live in the blood. Bagpipes make me cry and these accents are a balm to the soul. Thanks for all the work you put into them.
My ancestors too > Scotland for Canada. (abt 1855) to: London, Ontario. 👤Laurence Wilson > & Family > from Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland. Owned a Linen Mill > Mid-Mill > ( Pitliver) Wife: Janet Alexander. Yes...the memories live on. > Bagpipes make me cry too.
So nice to see sheep out on the land where they are meant to be. I don't know how you avoid getting seasick on the rough water, must be having to save face in the presence of a Viking. My stomach was queasy just watching. Gorgeous part of the world you live in.
I could listen to them all day as well but I’m from a small country town in south Alabama, USA and I can’t hardly understand a word they are saying 😂😂😂😂
Wow I can’t say never but this is the closest I can get to seeing Scotland and I’m loving it every vlog I see a bit more of your beautiful country. Might have to contact the tourist board for partnership because I think your making more people want to travel there themselves 😍😍😍Thanks again for sharing your life and country with us❤️thank Shaun for being a great sport😍
Wow, I learn more about Scotland w/every vid! At the part where u were fretting about sitting outside to scan, I was thinking to myself, "Cammie, at least it's not bad weather!" I pray that you have great weather to finish scanning.👍
Once again, Cammy, you’ve shown another beautiful part of Scotland. I’d love to go to Hoy just for the ride from the boat! Wonder if they need critical care nurses? Looks like you did a good job even though you didn’t have the trailer. Did your backside get wet from setting on the bale of hay? Great dogs, hearty sheep, scenery so breathtaking I don’t know how you ever work. Thanks for sharing and thank you for raising sheep to feed people and helping others take care of theirs. Good man!
You are one lucky man! The Isle of Hoy 😮 soooo beautiful. That house in the earth is really special. And to top it off you didn’t need your trailer for us to watch the flying leaps, sweet. Thanks again. Will the boots fit Lizzy? Hope more to come from the beautiful Isle of Hoy.
Aww Cammy I love seeing your Landscape clips.... What a beautiful landscape you live & travel through aye! A fair bit craic with the lads.... Fun days! Have a good one aye!
Excellent as always Cammy! I love the amazing mountains and land that you get to see on your travels. Hope you feel better! Love all the videos you have had lately cannot wait until lambing is full force
👍👍That is rough terrain! I loved the boat ride and riding along the roads on the ATV. 😁❤️ I hope you get another comfy scanning seat. 😁❤️ That shelter in the hill was pretty interesting. Any idea how old it would be?
@@Frustrated_Traveller Thank you. Here in Canada, the Inuit have used similar caches in the barren landscapes to store supplies. I don’t know whether they have been dated. I found the story of the iron age dwellings fascinating. The Viking structures in Newfoundland are very similar. Thanks for the information. It is never too late to learn 😁❤️
Great Stuff Cam, scenery is breathtaking, Sean is a Legend ! crossing the pond and going back next week to My God's Country (Y Carneddau) for a visit, can't wait to work with the dogs and be there for Lambing, hoping Lizzie and Jock are doing well......good luck with the lambing
It looks quite chilly and windy there, Cammy. Should be quite an adventure for you. Enjoy you stay and thank you for this vlog.. we are getting to see a great deal of Scotland with all your adventures. Very nice❤️👍
Awesome pict structure good thing you'all don't have the kinna snakes/critters the US has; some like to use underground places or caves to rest in during winter. You do have to be keen what is in there. Brillant video showing Scotland at its best and you're so adaptable with a joke and smile. The weather was a lot better than when you were scanning in the snow. You and Graeme have different skills and are at the top of your game. No need to compare.
I Admit I would not have started watching Utube Vidios if not for Covid, being retired, bored at home in a state that has some cold months. I am grateful for the few I watched the past 2 years. They have been Interesting, entertaining and educational. In a few we eks my husband will be fully recovered from Open Heart Surgery, pandemic will be declared an ENDEMIC and life goes on. Can't say weather or not I will watch as often as I do now. I will have to check up on We Jock !
Good lad Cammy being the voice of reason "You can't just go in a dark hole without knowing what's in there!" Did you learn that on the farm or the police force? I'd have been sick on that boat 😝 I put the cc on to try to understand the Viking and it said you were going to the island of Hawaii 😆
You convinced me I want to go to Scotland it is a beautiful country you so lucky to live there and the cold would not worry me as winter is my best season you are great man putting smile on people faces
You reference the accent, 2 of my fav movie's, Brigadoon and Whisky Galore ALWAYS spring to mind whilst watching, oh n Rab C Nesbit only bit missing is string vest lol Take care Geoff
Loved this video. Sorry you're down one seat! You've got such a great attitude 👏 I'm going to look for Sean's UA-cam. Need to start following him as well. My Scotland Team!
That gentle roll on a relatively flat bottomed boat is exactly what makes for an ideal seasickness platform. I don't ever get sea sick but the nearest I have come is in that type of sea state. Not too rough. Just enough to get a steady roll and pitch going. Hopefully the quad bike footage on Hoy with three of plus dogs was speeded up otherwise your injury at work insurance could be invalidated. Great job on the gather, William Wallace no 2. Put a head camera on a dog to get footage in small places. That we hole would make an ideal bivvy spot on a cold night. Just need a good camping mat and sleeping bag, plus a cookset and grub.
I think I got sea sick but anyways 🤣 fantastic adventure on the mysterious seascape ! Love those narrow roads! Underground tunnel is ancient .. My favorite part of your videos is lambing and scanning belly's. Adore the comedy of it all in how you find humor in just about everything and when you read the scanner and paint them... Love your videos. 🐑
What I like to do ,is look at a map of Scotland to see where you are, the island of Hoy is way north between the North Sea and the Atlantic, which all of this you know, but it’s cool.
Thank you so much for such a fabulous video‼...You lads seem to turn anything into playtime...and I can't help laughing along with you...give my love to Lizzy and Jock😁✨
What a smashing video!!! You are really making me want to go back to Scotland. The beauty is outstanding and you definitely do her justice. On the non related…did you replace the car seat before it’s disappearance was noticed 🤦♀️🤷♀️🤣. 😊🐑💙 #makingfarmingcoolagain
We’re not only interested in his accent, we’re into the whole Viking, Cammie :). Brilliant video again. I loved the Orkneys! The losing your seat story made me laugh so loud. You are such an entertainer. Q: how much time you need for scanning let’s say 100 sheep in one go? Just for the idea.
Opening scene: a toque on top of a bright yellow safety blanket 🤣 I need to know what that underground bunker is. I couldn't understand a thing you guys were saying. It it a hobbit house? who made it and why? The scenery is so very interesting, so much like the island in Canada where I live. Newfoundland. It has little islands off of the big island too. You must visit on a day when the weather is warmer & show us again. Thanks 💓🐑💓🐑💓🐏💓🐑
Great video, you had to swallow back down the breakfast on rough seas!!😨 Sean has some mean quad bike skills- Orkney terrain!!, unlike our smooth grassy parks.!😂 Anyway, question is - who has Cammy's seat?? And where can I pick up another!!( GET a nice Bmw, or similar!!)
